Grand Theft Auto Series Megathread V2: Give Me (GTA V) PC

I picked up some guy in my zentorno, and started cruising around. We stopped at the salon so I could change my makeup. As soon as I got in my car, I realized there was a sticky bomb attached to it. The fucker blew me up, and on the mic, I heard a spastic 12 year old losing his shit because he killed me. Annoyed, I immediately called Merryweather, and sent mercs after him. They killed him, and then after he respawned, I crashed into him full speed just as he was about to throw another sticky, killing him instantly. He flipped the fuck out. "DUDE!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE FUCK?!!?!!"
For those of you talking about the P2P problems:

I swear, that part of the map near the police station is bugged or something. Everytime I go there I get massive FPS drops as all the cars just smash into each other. The whole apocalypse looking thing I posted a couple pages back must have happened to me at least three times now.

On certain missions, when I drive down the freeway, I notice that a lot of cars spawn in upside down or just straight up explode as soon as they spawn.
I meant more like don't have auto aim period. It's hard enough finding lobbies in the free aim setting.
Not having it would be stupid, but I'm sure it'll be default Free Aim because it's a KB&M
They are capable of the extra AI, that's why they have them in single player.
They aren't online because it means there's a lot more stuff for people's shitty connections so synchronise. The 360 and PS3 could do animals online if people could stay in sync for more than 15 seconds.
So the problem is the shitty P2P system and them trying to make it not look as bad, remind me why don't we have dedicated servers other than the cost thing?
so if we don't get the specs this week i'm willing to be there is a delay. dunno when they'll actually announce the delay...
Many people in Online already know this, but for those who are new to the game.
In the mission 'Cleaning the Cathouse', you can pretty much skip the entire mission if you grab an helicopter and land in the rooftop of the motel right above the hostage you have to rescue.
As soon as you land the helicopte in the rooftop, the game wil detect as if you rescued Anna and it will say "X player collected Anna", then she will automatically run to the chopper while enemies just ignore her.
As far as I know they never patched this and it gives you like 7,500$ per completion.

Also.
If you want to collect extra Sticky Bombs or Grenades for free.
When you find them in missions (as pick-ups), drop your current grenades using "Y" (or equivalent in Playstation version) in your inventory, then grab the pick-up, and next grab your grenades that you previously dropped.
This way you can bypass the limit of ammo you can pick up from the ground.
Guys I have a question, I still haven't played the game. Still waiting for Steam release. (Any release date for PC yet?)
How much can you make your GTA online character resemble yourself in the game?
Are there a lot of character customization options or is there like 5 different hairstyles and faces like in GTA IV?

The release date is January 27th for now, but there seems to be a lot of skepticism around it. I don't doubt it, but I have no idea how Rockstar works as a developer so I can't really throw in my own two cents.

Does this work with any weapon?
In current-gen there are slider bars to adjust your eye depth, width, every facial feature just about has a slider bar to adjust, as well as things like acne and scars and stuff to put on your face so I'd say it's pretty open

If they wanted to delay it they would've probably said it by now, not 21 days before the actual release
Hope it comes on the 27th, really fucking stoked.
I'm not sure if that was the case with a mouse, but regardless imo there's no reason for auto aim on the PC version at all.
What about people using controllers?
fuck em
AS harsh as it sounds, I don't think it'd be fair to allow a "hard" auto-aim found on the consoles.
Maybe if a person aims their crosshair with a controller onto someone, it' lock on, but I doubt we'd see something like consoles where the cursor auto-locks straight onto characters.
that is what separate playlists are for.

On the road to GTAVPC.
It's a fucking miracle what selling shit you don't want on the Steam market can do.
But being the pessimistic bastard I am I bet as soon as I get the money they're going to delay it and hnng :v:

Leave free-aimers to free aim and non-free aimers to non-free aim.
That way, people using KB&M don't get fucked over by the hard lock-on, but people with controllers can still use the original aiming from consoles.
I personally can't aim for shit on consoles without some form of aim assist, but I'm totally fine using a mouse.
I think you need a couple dollars more. If it's not 69$
I think you need a couple dollars more. If it's not 69$
Why would it be $69? Nobody has ever released a $69 AAA PC game, outside of the beta for Elite: Dangerous.
There will be no god damn delay geez
It'll probably be something like $55 for preorder and then $60 after. A lot of games do that.
There will be no god damn delay geez
I can see it now....
*Rockstar delays GTA V PC again*
"I didn't even want that game anyway"
"GTA is stupid"

I'm not sure what you personally class as "AAA", but do any of these count?

AAA means that the game has a ridiculous amount of funding and most of the funding is in advertising.
Games that you basically hear all the time about. Call of Duty, AssCreed, GTA, and any other games with large amounts of advertising to build hype.
BTW those prices are roughly around 60 bux.

almost all of those are what classify as "AAA" games, aka from a major game studio and have a starting cost of $60.
I really hope there is no delay.
I can't handle the delays

Whoa, what all did you sell? I'm curious if I can do this too. Did you buy stuff off the market for resale later?
Still no pre-order.
Still no requirements.
Game will be delayed.
Every day until you like it.
We're dying here we're all dying.
