I love how the arguments for why people aren't getting Saints Row IV are getting more pathetic. Now I see people won't get the game because of "no day/night cycles" or something just as ludicrous.
Every time I glance at the comments section of a SR4 video I die a little on the inside

Also,I love how you get rewards for activities and challenges and stuff. I never did the challenges,I always got them without me actually doing them on purpose. And with all the activities I was all ''I [I]guess[/I] I could do this activity. Might be good for some takeover....'' but seeing as you get weapons and all that deliciousness here,I and probably a lot of other players will do a lot more activities and challenges.

In the comments for the Rev3Games video, somebody said "wow the interviewer isn't saying anything because the game is so obviously terrible lol," when the interviewer was clearly having an absolute riot watching the game.
Is there archived footage of IGN's stream? I'm gonna try and find out more about the dub gun, if I can.
How is SR3 compared to SR2?
I really love SR2 and I replayed it again, it's just so fucking amazing and hilarious. Never bothered with the sequel.

"Disappointing" is the word I'd use to compare SR3 to SR2. Still a great game though.

During one of those previous 90 minute videos, during the Super Powered Fightclub with Nyte Blade as the boss at the end, he had a Genki Girl assisting him.
In the intro cutscene before wave 1 she was seen holding a tentacle bat( Not sure if that was in 3), instead of a basic bat / penetrator.
No doubt someone will make you some mods pal.
The only thing stopping me from getting SR4 is the missions.. I really hope there is actual missions, not a mission every now and then between mini games like SR3.
Any confirmation on this yet?

It has been confirmed there are both main missions and sidequests,and [B]both[/B] don't have missions which are purely an activity.

There will be no missions in which they teach you a minigame like in SR3- they heard how people hate that and took it out accordingly.
Sidenote, [sp]the hacking minigame to unlock stores? basically the water pipe minigame from Bioshock 1. Not complaining, that's just what's ingame.[/sp]
I'm guessing there will be a Peneterator skin for the laser katana.
Weird that there were no racing activities in SR3 but you could still buy kneecappers. I never did, I thought they looked tacky.

I have bought them for a few cars to pop the tires of random pedestrian cars. Had a good night of following one car whose wheels I popped around the neighborhood until he beat his vehicle up into a flaming wreck.

It's a good excuse to have a floppy bat but keep the schlong separate for censorship reasons.
Oh also at about 27:20 of that Rev3 gameplay vid, there's a Pulse bike from the Ultor Exposed DLC. I wonder what other vehicles are returning?

SR4 needs shock paddles again, or the superpower equivalent. I liked being able to revive pedestrians.

the lightsaber uses the same animations as the penetrator, at least in all the gameplay vids, so who knows
if only I was better at making titles.
It also uses the same animation as the baseball bat from SR3.
