I was more disappointed about the Saints Flow in Trouble With The Clones. I would have loved to use that outside of the mission.
You already can if you play on PC and own the TwC DLC: http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/index.php?threads/sandbox-for-srtt.1076/
I want layers back.
I pretty sure that's not possible, because of how the clothing works.
I pretty sure that's not possible, because of how the clothing works.
What do you mean?
The mesh of the bodies apparently prevents this sort of shit, it's only because they added physics to clothing and boobs.
I assume with actual effort they could fix that, though.
I assume with actual effort they could fix that, though.
You assume they're just lazy. Nice.
I hope Saints Row IV has a kickass track that plays during the final battle. Holding Out For A Hero was the best fucking endgame song ever.

It's like, what the hell was the point of giving me the choice?[/sp]
I chose both, why would anyone settle for less?
What did you choose first?
You assume they're just lazy. Nice.
Uh. No? But sorta, couldnt they just rig the clothing models to the same skeleton (including the jigglebones and stuff) as the player?
What did you choose first?
I can't remember, but I believe I went for Killbane first.
Would these aliens fit in Red Faction?
I want to be able to morph into npc's :v:
I can't remember, but I believe I went for Killbane first.
Why Killbane?
I was disappointed when we couldn't use that demon monster thing outside of it's mission
Is there a mod that allows us to be the demon monster outside the mission? Because that would be goddamn awesome and I want it so bad Also I didn't know there was a modding community behind SRTT.
Why Killbane?
*Que multiple responses explaining why the Killbane ending is more fitting with the Saint's Row storyline.*
Is there a mod that allows us to be the demon monster outside the mission? Because that would be goddamn awesome and I want it so bad
There are two actually. What I would suggest is grabbing the following to start with: Gentlemen of Steelport is a compilation including my work and other members of the community and designed so that all the mods get updated correctly and play nice together. It also contains the avatar rampage mod that is part of mission replay and lets you choose whether to play the actual mission or just teleport out and free roam the city as the avatar (the big demon thing.) You can always grab the latest verson of GoS in the Downloads section of my site: http://idolninja.com Sandbox+ is kind of like a trainer that lets you use keyboard commands to do all sorts of fun stuff like teleport to mission only locations, on-foot radio, swap zones in and out like having the bridges be up or down or the zombie island present, switch teams so that gangs or the police fight with you, enable superpowers and/or the decker speed skating, switch single and dual wielding, and a work in progress version of the avatar morph (just to name a few.) The avatar morph is still a little buggy though and missing the attacks and the camera is in too close, so you'll probably want to use the avatar rampage version with GoS instead. http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/index.php?threads/sandbox-for-srtt.1076/ The third mod is the npc behavior and spawn mod by shitface which completely revamps the npc spawning with a ton of extra characters and better vehicle variants. It also has height variations for the npcs, and they have a much greater chance to act aggressively just like SR2 and use tasers, guns, etc on both you and each other. It really makes for some awesome emergent stuff happening. http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/index.php?threads/npc-behaviour-and-spawn-mod.766/ Check out the rest of the forum for other stuff you might like. I like the Steelport Flashback Movie Festival mod I released that changes all the billboards to 80s/90s movie ones: http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/index.php?threads/steelport-flashback-movie-festival.2266/ If you own the Steelport gang pack dlc then this is also a must since it fixes some of the broken clothing options: http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/index.php?threads/steelport-gangs-dlc-fixes.830/

so i saw the sr4 gameplay looks like it was meant to be sr3 dlc.
so i saw the sr4 gameplay looks like it was meant to be sr3 dlc.
Never heard that one before A game reusing a previous game's engine should not be indicative of the quality of the game itself; the game should be judged as a standalone title Case in point: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Uses a modified version of Ocarina of Time's engine, and was an awesome if not (imo) better game than Ocarina of Time. I'll grant that Steelport was not nearly as interesting as Stilwater, but it's looking like SR4's gameplay will more than make up for that, not to mention the redesign of the city itself
I had no idea that TF2 classes were able to be used as masks on the PC version.
I want layers back.
As someone who hasn't even played SR2, I fully agree customization felt very limited
I was kinda worried about SR4 a few months back; everyone was saying it was the same, it was overhyped, yada yada yada. Now, with the top SR3 modder saying (in as few words as one can) how good it was, I can't wait for for E3 to show this off.
I just cant wait to be playing with my friends, using superpowers to play human basketball
*Que multiple responses explaining why the Killbane ending is more fitting with the Saint's Row storyline.*
Really? It makes your character into a (well moreso) complete sociopath. No no, let your closest friends in the world die and your reputation fall to pieces, leading to the utter annihilation of Steelport by the Daedalus, to go after a man you've completely humiliated time and time again, just to kill him after he's lost all power against you. Killbane was dead when you unmasked him and got rid of his luchadors.
Also,IdolNinja,a very well known modder for SR2 and SR3,visited Deep Silver and he said that SR4 is like a loveletter to the fans of SR1 and 2. Read the article and the comments
So Ninja, you basically said that you managed to cross off every complaint you had off of your checklist. Does that mean that the antithesis of everything you listed there will come true to some degree?
So Ninja, you basically said that you managed to cross off every complaint you had off of your checklist. I meant that I checked for all those missing features, and confirmed or denied each one. The upcoming article is a full disclosure on the status of all that stuff both good and bad. Missing or returning features like those listed are often ignored by the gaming press, and is something that I personally would want to know. I figured the rest of the fans would too so they can make an informed decision before buying it.

I mean there may be more locations we just haven't been shown, but as of now it doesn't seem particularly impressive.

When you said you checked every item, I thought you meant that you had literally put a check mark next to every item. :v:
