No they didn't. :v:
I personally think that article is retarded. I just posted it to spark conversation.
I hope that there's an option (in makeup and/or tattoos) to draw/design your own somehow.

I know it probably wouldn't happen, but I'd like to see the ability to make your own symbols/tattoos using uploaded images or with some sort of in-game tool, and being able to place it on your body or clothing
Something similar to APB: Reloaded

I wonder if they actually used an orchestra and choir
Y'know, I'm just now realizing that the clone could easily fill both Gat's role as the badass second-in-command AND Oleg's role as the brute force. If he's used like that, they might decide to kill off or get rid of Oleg.
All this shit about it being overpriced dlc, and how it'll just be stupid and shallow, is making my brain hurt. Get over the goddamn change in tone, and keep an open mind, is all I'm asking.
What? No they didn't, the flying was pretty much identical in 3. For both helicopters and planes.
What the fuck? I'm seriously starting to doubt that you've actually played SR2, after saying that.
[editline]14th May 2013[/editline]
sr3 planes, without that advanced handling thing, were babby-tier difficulty. you could literally do 360s while flying around

Well considering I played SR2 coop with him, you'd be wrong and all that

Was he high while playing it?
I dunno but my character was

Did you even consider wondering if he had that on before saying he never played SR2?
story and characters are great but the gameplay is like hitting yourself with a brick for as long as possible
I'm not sure I could ever stand to 100% SR1 when the activities abandon me whenever I fail them, leaving me to walk long ways back to the starting point, or worse, pay the damn medical bills for dying, resulting in potential net loss from the particularly hard activities like Escort.
All of this was solved with SR2's activity restart & checkpoint options, so I'm thankful for that. It's just far too aggravating to put up with what the original was lacking, though.
Am I the only one who thought Sasha Grey's voice acting wasn't terrible?

Ugh. Having to drive halfway across the map to restart a failed activity was the fucking worst.
Dex was to be shot and killed by an assassin working for Ultor, in a spin-off titled Saints Row: Money Shot, which never materialized, and Volition did not want to put Dex in Saints Row 3, and alienate players who did not play Saints Row or the Saints Row 2 DLC Corporate Warfare.

Thats dumb.
Thats dumb.
Why does The Protagonist hate Dex?

For abandoning the Saints and being partially responsible for the Playa/Boss/Protagonist's near-death in the boat explosion (If Dex hadn't called Troy to let him know he was leaving and to leave him out of the police proceedings, Troy would've likely not persuaded Julius to set the bomb in the first place. You can really blame Dex for the reason the Saints fell in the first place)
Why does The Protagonist hate Dex?
Because he almost killed the Boss at the end of SR2 by siccing the Masako team on them.

It's more-so because the Boss is a one-person force of nature who could take on an entire army of people as long as they have guns. :v:
I find it intriguing how the Saints and/or the Boss don't really know how to deal with success. They're much more focused when they're the underdogs. It's reminiscent of Julius wanting to disband the Saints after the first three gangs were taken down. But then three more gangs emerged, and the Boss was like 'fuck that shit. dis mah city.'
Now, the Saints are the leaders of the free world, but are once again in an environment that wants them tortured/killed.

Ultor needs a bigger role in this next one. Their missions in 2 were some of my favorites, plus with the whole space theme they could probably find ways to tie into Red Faction again.
"Sometimes you can come up with ideas that are over the top, but we don't know if that's going to be fun. So we're not trying to do it for the sake of being over the top. We're adding superpowers not just so we can say that you've got superpowers in Saints Row, that's crazy. It helps a couple of our key mechanics, navigation and combat. Those are the two most normal things you do in a Saints Row game and now they're totally different by adding superpowers."

I'm glad that their philosophy is fun trumps all. I wanna play a game that's fun foremost, and simply making it wacky for the sake of wacky just doesn't cut it. Saints Row: The Third was a game that had the facade of seeming wacky and fun, but not being able to back it up with fun gameplay. The game was either frustratingly difficult, or laughably easy, with repetitive missions and forced activities.

Yes, as you said, without the advanced handling. I don't count that because why would anyone ever play without it?

i played wihout it for ages until because i didn't know about it.

Do people really not just look around in the options before playing?
Do people really not just look around in the options before playing?
yes
i hope they add more than 1 or 2 weapons per gun category
i want my m9, glock, desert eagle, revolver, and weird automatic pistol thing, not just the white gun that shoots explosions and the black gun that has a flashlight
I hope theres a good amount of skins for weapons as well and not just 'a few things slapped on with tons of dlc extras' though admittedly that would be leagues better than the sr3 dlc and id probably buy it :v:
