Aww, I was hoping for a more... well.. "realistic" Saints Row again this time. If I remember right, Saints Row 1 and 2 were silly as hell, but still in a more clever way than The Third's attempt to put all that Sci-Fi shit in there, like that huge airship and those Hulk-guys, hover-bikes and super-crazy weapons.
I think that, after the extremity of SR3, the only way they could tone it way down would be to start over with a clean slate, forgoing all the characters and existing story.
looks kinda crap and it's annoying that this has to become yet another 'bi-yearly installment' series, where they take the same engine, give it a once-over and a new gimmick, and call it a new game
I hope my computer can run it
I hope my computer can run it
I hope I had the money to buy it :C
I want to see just how different simulation Steelport actually is They said there have been changes and additions for the simulation world, I really hope that's true

I also hated tempoary weapons, and those hulks were just a pain in the ass most of the time.

I really would like to see the unique citizens wich SR2 had come back (people skateboarding, jugling).
Bring back male voice 01!!!
I really would like to see the unique citizens wich SR2 had come back (people skateboarding, jugling).
Streaking.
I hope they bring back combat styles, that shit was the epitome of badass.
I hope they bring back Dex. Surely I'm not the only one still out for revenge?
I hope they bring back combat styles, that shit was the epitome of badass.
That was the first thing I looked for in SR3 and I was very disappointed when I didn't find it.
This looks really disappointing so far. I liked SR more back in the first two games when it was just the right blend of insane and plausible, like GTA SA with updated graphics. SRTT and SR4 are just going crazier for the sake of distancing from GTA and it looks like it's going to be boring. SRTT already sacrificed enough of its customisation to be a massive disappointment for me.

The thing that really annoys me, thinking about it, is that this throws the most serious part of Saints Row the Third out the non-canon window. Taking the Kill Killbane ending was actually pretty damn serious and, in some cases, feels like a real ending or such, even despite breaking the 'homies first' aspect of the series. But nope, Gangstas in Space, craziness for the sake of craziness, and corporate whoring instead in the path to become the President.
Well they're getting my money, I don't see the problem either with this looking like Saints Row 3, when Saints Row 3 looks good and this was originally planned as DLC, but whatever.
holy tits that trailer was awesome [editline]16th March 2013[/editline] haha I fucking love the crazy shit they come up with and them not giving a flying fuck what anyone thinks.

What a sec, is that Matt Miller with the Saints right there? [t]http://i.imgur.com/L3xmIrR.jpg[/t]
What a sec, is that Matt Miller with the Saints right there? [t]http://i.imgur.com/L3xmIrR.jpg[/t]
Thats what people think. Maybe since you're stuck in the matrix, the rest of the saints get Miller to help get you out/them in?
also there are several fundamental flaws in gameplay that ruin sr3 but i'd be talking all day if i went into those
At least there were less of those than in 2.
At least there were less of those than in 2.
Most of the things in SR2 were fun as shit and actually improved the game. Like being able to enter a car instantly if you're standing on top of it, and being shot into fucking space if you drive fast into a fuel station. And fucking driving up walls, but that was really hard to pull off and I think it's still around in SR3, might be wrong on that one though, never tried it in SR3 atleast.

Might of been a bug but i don't know.
Wrong game. Play Mafia.
Mafia and gangster ain't quite the same thing nigga.
Mafia and gangster ain't quite the same thing nigga.
I think the word you're looking for is 'gangsta'.
Mafia and gangster ain't quite the same thing nigga.
I'm pretty sure they are, doesn't a Mafia consist of Gangsters?
