I can't wait for the Mission Replay mod. Definitely a bunch of missions I wanna go through again.
[sp]They can at least grab all of their friends before it actually gets destroyed.
Even then, they had the desire to kill Zinyak to before Earth got destroyed.
They still would have gone after Zinyak if he didn't, it just gave them a little more incentive to.[/sp]
[sp] we're talking about saints row, they're gonna make Paul pull help build a huge ass time machine and pull it through it into the present[/sp]

Make sure you don't finish the finale without doing every loyalty "super homie" mission first

The ending you get is longer and more entertaining if you do

[sp]Pierce and King had the best missions[/sp]
No, you're wrong actually.
[sp]Marvel Comics style branching time-travel caused Alternate Universes.[/sp]
[sp]But we don't know what style of timetravel the Zin were able to develop, which is why we're speculating. We don't know if it's BTTF style (make a change, destroy the time travelers), Marvel Style, or any of the other styles designed.[/sp]
So apparently the data for cut homies, such as Lin, Dane Vogel, William Sharp, and Donnie are still in the game. Anyone want to try swapping out the models so we can see how the classics look in HD?

Here's what Dane looks like.
didn't a newspaper in SR2 say that he was voted most handsome man in Stillwater four times in a row or something
that's looking pretty optimistic in hindsight
What bothers me about the ending is that [sp]they seemingly don't realize that they can just go back in time and prevent Earth from getting destroyed.[/sp]
I really wish [sp]the time travel device had been introduced earlier and the final boss took place in the White House[/sp]. It'd definitely have made being the President a little more...noticeable.

[sp]Or maybe the time machine would malfunction while you're fighting Zinyak himself, and you're transported through several different time periods and locations.
Anything that would involve you fighting Zinyak in person.
I was really expecting the final fight to be 1-on-1 with him.
I thought that was the whole reason you got that super suit.[/sp]
[sp]Zinyak was such a great villain. You could tell the boss was afraid of him during the cutscene after his nightmare realm. has to be my favorite cutscene in the entire series. I feel like they made him super weak at the end though, like, he's huge and muscular and shit and the boss takes him out like it's a normal dude. I wish they made the battle seem a bit more close[/sp]

Hey, at least [sp]we actually saw him ingame and actually fought him and there actually was a final boss and he was a genuinely good antagonist[/sp]. Unlike Loren.
[sp]I absolutely loved Zinyak as a villain, but his battle was a little underwhelming.[/sp]

Hehe, I rememeber my first playthrough of sr3. I never even noticed [sp]Loren get crushed during the raiding of the Syndicate Tower. I just thought he escaped.
I spent the next half of the game wondering where the hell he went and why Killbane was taking over the Syndicate.[/sp]
So does completing all the challenges really allow you to use your superpowers in the real world, or is that just a matrix reference? If not, what does it get you?
I really hope [sp]Volition continues using the current Boss and crew. Honestly Volition has an amazing cast of characters and they really need to exploit them more. Also, please please please please keep Troy Baker and Laura Bailey. Troy literally has the best voice for the Boss imo. Not to mention stuff like this makes him my favorite VA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXkbMVCLb00[/sp]
I'm always torn between Troy Baker and Male 3...
I went with Male 3 this time, but still.
I loved the default boss so much in SR3 that I kept him. I never really used the character creator. Kept him for 4. I think Volition nailed his look.
I thought that the throwback to Saints Row 2 with the whole [sp]Nightclub / Veteran Child[/sp] was pretty fucking cool
I hope they have more than 7 voices in the next Saints Row, maybe a female cockney voice?

Wait it is ? Is there a ending with all loyalty missions done ? I forgot to do them...
Hey yeah, what's difference between endings? I only did the one with all homie missions done.
I didn't realize there were going to be different endings.

The extended ending is where you do all of the loyalty missions, but you won't get an achievement.
I only did the one with no loyalties finished so gonna cheat my way towards it.
The extended ending is where you do all of the loyalty missions, but you won't get an achievement.
Oh, so the [sp]part after the credits? You only see that if you finish all loyalty missions?[/sp]
The extended ending is where you do all of the loyalty missions, but you won't get an achievement.
Completing it with each loyalty mission gives both achievements.
Non-extended:
[sp]ends nearly immediately after killing zinyak, boss says they're taking over an empire and living with the Zin something like "We've got an empire to take over" as it shows some really big red and black structure, possibly the Zin planet.[/sp]
Extended:
[sp]boss asks if there's a servant he gets and Zinjai appears willing to be the steward. Boss inquires about the earth restoration mention from Keith David missions, and Zinjai explains there is a time machine, to which everyone is excited. A sequence in the penthouse from SR3 that you steal from the morning star begins with all of the characters in their superhero outfits and you dancing together, each character walks down between the others with their own dance toward the camera, then a Zinyak simulation does the worm in the middle and points at his crotch to finish it off for the credits. The credits show drawings of the gang doing varying things through history. Kinzie making marilyn monroe jealous by stealing her thunder over the skirt blowing up trick, Ben King telling shakespeare how to write Hamlet, Johnny cutting down the cherry tree and blaming Washington, etc.
Also I dont know if both endings get this but the cast sing Opposites Attract and Biz Markie Just a Friend together.
Also its revealed out that Jane Austen writer of pride and prejudice was the Game of Thrones joke narrator throughout the game[/sp]

No you see an ending that doesn't feel like 4 seconds
[editline]23rd August 2013[/editline]
Both endings are here http://www.ign.com/videos/2013/08/22/the-endings-of-saints-row-iv
[editline]23rd August 2013[/editline]
Also you missed out big time if you didn't do any of the loyalty missions, they're optional but they have story quality content to them.
[editline]23rd August 2013[/editline]
Actually I watched the vid further and it explains that the [sp]dance sequence is the same except one features the super-outfits and the other features the default outfits[/sp]
Saints Row V: [sp]Saints in Time[/sp]
Saints Row V: [sp]Saints in Time[/sp]
Saints Row:[sp]The Fifth Century[/sp]
actually a terrible idea but you know
Isn't this the last one in the franchise or no ?
[editline]23rd August 2013[/editline]
So it isn't... well that's great news. Can't wait to see the 30 frames per second saints row 5 game for the next gen console's hopefully.
There's so much crap pointing to a 5th one and so much talk about it that I'm gonna assume 'THE CLIMACTIC FINAL CHAPTER' was a joke. Other games do it all the time and even some of those have sequels, notably Halo 3
There was a screen saying there was going to be a Dead Island: Saints Row
[editline]23rd August 2013[/editline]
Also I beat the game couldn't take the music seriously because I kep imagining Howeie Mandela with them
[sp]So the mission when the screen bugs out it says missing stilwater and a sex shaundi scene. I wished stilwater returns someday.[/sp]
I can't believe it took me 4 games to let it sink in that [sp]Shaundi was, and still is a whore.[/sp]
I feel so late and overlooked so much.
Stilwater is like Saints Row's San Andreas. They need to make the city even bigger imo. Renovate the areas that Ultor was hoping to make in the second game, etc etc.
