Does anyone know where I can find the car with vertical opening doors and it looks like a Lamborghini?
I found the Gatmobile
It looks like the Wraith
I don't know, for the majority of the game I didn't use anything but ice blast
the rest of the powers were useless novelties
You have not experienced having Ode to Joy on the radio, doing a virus injection mission that spawns a fuckload of people, run around in circles with super sprint for a while to gather a big crowd and then fireblast them with the upgrade that makes them explode and hurt others when they die and watch the fireworks go off.
It's incredible, so much chaos.
Fixed- you gotta get rid of that slash on the third spoiler tag. Luckily you got the first one down.
It happens.
I forget guys, do the Virus Injections, Security deletion, and Vehicle Steals dissapear once you do them? I'd like to redo a few of the infinite genki ones if I could.
If not, that would be a great mod alongside resetting flashpoints.
id love it if you could reset the whole simulation
like, all your quests and stuff would be done, but you could go back and redo all the virus stuff/assassinations/flashpoints and such, I mean, it is a simulation
I don't understand why you're asking for another car when you have the Gatmobile.
Hey, I personally was overjoyed to have the Hollywood back for this game. I love making them resemble the '58 Plymouth known as Christine, gives an extra thrill to running over the pedestrians.
Just wish the Voxel could've made a comeback. Anyone know of a car equivalent to it in SR4?
I have no idea how to launch people out of the Genki Manapult.
Primary fire.
Already tried that. Do I have to hold it?
So tempted to buying this. About how many hours of base gameplay do you get out of this? ( Completing all required missions? ) Depending on that I'll get it. I know I got a lot of gameplay out of SR3 even after I beat it too so I expect the same here.

Something that annoyed me about these since SR3 was that they're not procedural. Assassinations are the easiest, but it wouldn't be that hard to make something generate a few randomly customized vehicles and set up an arbitrary "get from hither to yon" mission to go with it. Same with gang operations/flashpoints, just occassionally deposit a horde of dudes and some vehicles at a random point on the map with enough surface area.
One of the things that's fun about other sandbox games is when stuff just sorta happens on its own independent of the story, be it gang wars in GTA:SA or those weird defense/attack missions in RFG or whatever. These games could really use something like that.

would have been nice to have larger scale stuff in sr4, thats for sure. like [sp]that one mission with gangs everywhere assaulting you[/sp] that kinda thing would be awesome. as well as cops/gangs alongside the aliens, and making them last longer, it seems like you just kill 25 or so and a warden pops out, killing everyone.
My PDA menu keeps getting frozen.

I'd scream like that too if I became spaghetti when I touch water
simple stomp + ice aura freezes everyone in a huge radius around you and shatters them instantly
Best combo

It's a shame the "no ragdoll from cars" upgrade is forced on you
No, it should fire people out from the cannon after you sucked them in, weird. Haven't played Saints Row in a while, I think there were separate controls for vehicles you could configure, try checking that.
The manapault is broken in SR4. You can suck people up but you can't fire them back out.
Women are the glitchiest due to their tits
did anyone else watch breaking bad on TV tonight? there was an SR4 commercial and zinyak's voice was all weird for like no reason :v:
So, here's the list of complaints that could easily be fixed with a modding SDK
-Ability to turn off things like dual wielding and other upgrades (Tornado being a prime one)
-Gangs that they have in code to be assigned to certain islands (already in development)
-Turning back on Flashpoints (because enemies fighting you is always nice)
-Giant alien structures taken out of Steelport. That's my own suggestion, because they're ugly looking and really don't add anything

It's really weird that they didn't make upgrades toggable this time around given all the complaints about that in SR3. Nope, they just decided that "oh, people dislike that they're invincible because of the upgrades and want to toggle them? What about not making the last damage upgrade invincible, just good reduction isntead? Then they surely won't want toggling, right?".
But, the game oozes of budget issues (which easily affects all the small details and obviously polish) from the one end to the other which is only natural given THQ's situation during most of it's development time.
Mods will easily fix this though, you can fix it in SR3 with mods and I wouldn't assume it works much differently in SR4.

It really wasn't a large priority- it probably went, "All of these people want us to toggle upgrades, have the ability to turn on flashpoints (whatever it was called in SR3)....or we could spend that time on other, bigger things. And we only have X amount of time...bigger things it is!"
Still though, mods will fix SRIV just as it did SR3.

You know what I'd like to see? The Zin attempting to bring hotspots and flashpoints back online. With full force. Like, tanks and UFOs and marauders and shit. And have it all objective based, where you learn they're attempting to take something over again, and you can like, intercept the force before it arrives or get there late and fight even more than you really need to.
[sp]oh god imagine it with the mech oh man[/sp]

They had this in Saints Row 2 with rival gangs. It was annoying as fuck. You would take a neighborhood and they would constantly be trying to take it back.

It shouldn't be a constant thing. Just once every now and again. You know how in SR3 you would get those phone calls to go and defend some place from an attack? It could be kind of like that, but a lot less incessant and a lot more entertaining.

Well I'm talking more about something to actively generate content so that the game doesn't get so stale. But in terms of scale, yeah, it definitely could have used a lot more of everything. When people talk about the game feeling like it missed something, a huge part of that is there being one unified antagonistic force- it would have been nice if (these aren't spoilers FWIW, they were advertised in advance) reconstructed STAG, Morningstar, Brotherhood, etc. all had distinct presences in various areas and could be fought separately from the aliens.
And then, yeah, the aliens themselves don't scale terribly well as you get more powerful. Wardens are a massive joke (try it with the mech, all that stops you from killing them is the inability to do the QTE), it seems like you only ever get one rolly guy at a time, and power suppression grenades are rare and generally thrown poorly. It'd be nice if past level 45 or so they started using suppression roadblocks or rockets, sent more than one tank or rolly guy at a time, and when the wardens dropped in either didn't despawn or sent like three of them after you.

I just fired the Loud Locust and this happened. What a great feature.
So what exactly is the season pass? Does it just give you current and feature DLC or is it just the name of the DLC.

gives you the rectifier, Enter the Dominatrix, and a future mission pack

Oh
Is it worth it? I don't care for the weapon.
