The telekinesis catching challenge is going to be a bitch. Not only will it involve tediously waiting for wardens to throw things at me, but they also have a tendency to throw street lights at me, which telekinesis doesn't affect.
I think the fight clubs were pretty fucking easy, got gold on each one first try. I basically just punched the fuck out of the bosses whenever they spawned, using a power now and then to stop them from doing stuff themselves. They can't fight back if there's a fist curshing their face everytime they even think about using telekinesis bullshit or something Havin melee upgrades helps with this
Jyunichi is giving me a lot of trouble. I can beat the first two waves in like a minute flat but then the penultimate wave takes a minute and the final one takes two.
Ya that one gave me a lot of trouble until I got Ice Buff. I just turned that shit on and punched the shit out of frozen Jyunichi while the other enemies froze as soon as they approached.
Does it say the Saints Row server is down for anyone else too?

Does anyone have the original executable of the retail steam release, before the patch? I would like to just play with the old version until they fix it.
The hell? I was in Nobody Loves Me, trying out the new Grass Roots DLC, whenever I come out of the store and a car pulls up. Out jumps the non-super homie Kinzie. Never mind not calling her, why was she not super? I wish this game had a true astronaut suit. Not the silly Gangters In Space suit, a REAL astronaut suit.
Well, there is the Heat Resistant suit.
-solved-
Is there an ETA on the cache bug fix? I really wanna play this...
http://www.twitch.tv/Agoat944 This internet detective is streaming some Saints Row IV if anyone wants to join me!
I wish this game had a true astronaut suit. Let's Pretend?
Yeah but that's some weird sci-fi suit. I want this:
My guess is that they'll release an astronaut pack complete with America Flag melee weapon
holy shit superpowers kick ASS
My guess is that they'll release an astronaut pack complete with America Flag melee weapon
That plus George Bush mask plus Monster Truck equals The most American thing ever.
I haven't even played CO-OP and I already feel this is worth every penny.

Still one of the most kickass tracks in the game: (skip to 0:27)
That's definitely the most satisfying activity/mission complete music.
What the fuck have they still NOT fixed this weapon cache bug?
I'm trying to find a playlist of every K-12 track in SRIV, but I can't find all of them, less of all in a playlist. Kind of annoying actually, since I'd like to have some of them for my MP3 player :C
I feel like coop isn't as fun this time around when you're playing two characters who aren't concurrent with each other; If you have one guy who is a few missions or levels ahead of you his power level will leave you in the dust, and it's not as much fun because he will carry the entire game. At least in SRTT I could kind of keep up. Maybe it's better with two characters playing concurrently but I haven't tried it.
Depends on the player I think. I just offset my gratuitous bullshit by limiting what I use to odd or funny things. Like, handguns and inflato-ray only, sniper and bounce rifles only, sword and powers only, only using vehicles, that sort of thing. It ends up being pretty fun that way. I did a run of SRTT from start to finish with one friend and new characters, but my favorite one was with a newbie friend on an old save and limiting myself to the McManus, shark gun and cyber SMGs. Just ask coop partners not to shit all over everything, shouldn't be that hard.
Jyunichi is giving me a lot of trouble. I can beat the first two waves in like a minute flat but then the penultimate wave takes a minute and the final one takes two.
It's kinda finnicky but I did this on hardcore so it should work for anybody. The Genki girls are annoying in that they don't flinch like almost every other "super" enemy and they can't be stunned- freezing and gravity stomp don't really work because they come out of it after one hit and immediately jump and melee just punts then away from you. There are a couple tricks to murdering them. I prefer rapidly switching between fire blast, lightning or vampire TK (with repeated slamming into each other or walls) and rock stomp, but an even faster option is to try pinning them in a corner or underneath the walkways at the bottom of the arena. You can completely ruin them by alternating between quick grabs/freezes and kicking them provided they're lodged somewhere the kick can't knock them upward. Downside is they sometimes fall through the level doing this (Sad Panda phased through a wall a minute ago). Jyunichi proper is easy- gravity stomp suspends him for a while, even while being hit, so you can just float his ass and kick it to death in one go if you time it right (and if you don't just freeze him and repeat). He takes like ten seconds. The problem is the sword ladies and their stupidly long reach. A single fire blast should kill any you hit with it but it'll be right at the end of the fire effect's duration, vampire TK/freeze buff punching can wrap up the ones you missed with the blast and speed things up. Then you just drop on Jyunichi and kick his hovering shins until he dies. Alternatively, freeze them with buffs/blast and then kill Jyunichi while they're frozen.

As for Jyunichi, you can always mind-control several Ronin mooks with cyber swords, they'll swarm and absolutely waste him in 3 seconds. Not only that, but when he's done, other cyber sword mooks dissapear aswell.

I think I made a pretty convincing Demoman
My guess is that they'll release an astronaut pack complete with America Flag melee weapon
I hope it has a finisher where you kick them down, shove it their chest and salute before pulling it out.
