Was anybody watching the livestreams leading up to SRIV's release? The devs were talking about how during the ending cutscene, as opposed to Julius watching the boat & checking his watch, he was supposed to be shown bloody & beaten running down a dark alley, which made it less obvious it was him. They never did elaborate on the entire original plans, but their wording made it sound like that he may have not been intended as the bomb planter, and that whoever made that ending cutscene essentially forced them to make it so. Sort of wish they talked about that more. Anybody know if they ever put those livestreams up?
What ever happened to the gangster veil?

Funfact: While completing SRIV I had What is Love as the only song on my mixtape. After 14 hours, it never got boring.

I always thought it was silly that Saints Row: The Third had an entire subsection of clothing called Facewear And it was all for just one item: the bandana.

I wish the facemask from the aviator helmet was a separate thing you could wear on its own. I'm sure that'll be done whenever the SDK comes out but still, some of the choices they made are fucking weird. Also, I was really hoping you could get an eyepatch/dead eye this time around. You can get scars that look perfect for that combo, but it's not an option.
There's an audio bank of what sounds like a dev reading the script as a test run for the boss. It's Christian Bale, female Microsoft Sam & some guy who's reading off a piece of paper, all rolled into one. I honestly don't know why they would bother leaving these files with the game. It's not a big file, but still. Pointless, but I just found it a bit funny just because it's three different voices.
The "guy reading the script" voice is also present in the rough animatics for [sp]Saints Save Christmas[/sp]

Like, what, Hitler?"
I've had some more time to play and I've sort of changed my mind, although the gameplay is very similar, if not identical (With the exception of superpowers) to SR3 the main reason I still find myself playing it is the story. SRIV's story is fulled with exceptional writing and puns and I won't like Volition have done a goob job with it.
This is in Saints Row The Third, too
Oh nevermind then
Oh nevermind then
But I also didn't know about it until I found it in SR4
too spooky

Probably the same sounds, too.

Only other one I remember is someone having loads of gas at a small toilet block somewhere in SRTT.

might be late on this one but did anyone else find the mission where [sp]you have to defend the portals yourself ontop of the building on the second last mission[/sp] frustrating as fuck? i had it on normal and had to change it to casual :(
I had to switch to casual in [sp]Asha's simulation when you're fighting evil you. Fucking murderbots.[/sp]
SR2 is the most fucking frustrating and abysmal experience I've EVER had with any kind of port in my entire life and that's REAAAAAAALLY saying something considering I've played Bully: Scholarship Edition and an unpatched Bioshock 2 before. The mouse control is ass, the FPS wildly careens between "alright" and "MY FLESH IS MELTING" modes even when the game itself is on "Oh my god, It's full of stars!" mode. I was running 640x480 blurovision with dynamic lighting (AKA ALL FUCKING LIGHTING) off, every single thing off, and I was still getting 5-15fps while driving down a highway at 10mph. I don't understand how they could even remotely begin to think that it was a good idea having an open-world game have entirely dynamic lighting and be constantly vomiting unprecached content into my CPU. it absolutely fucking boggles my mind how anyone could think such methods are kosher. And while many may play the game comfortably that doesn't excuse the fact that the average person will have experiences with PC SR2 equivalent to delving into a hospital mopbucket full of sick. Someone on the dev team needed to be Genki'd for this.

so, I have over 50 hours in SR4 and I just learned that the DJ of 420 fm is [sp]mr. sunshine[/sp] :v:
I keep crashing while trying to defeat Cyrus. This is the first time I have had a crash that happened at the same spot every time.
I wonder if it will be possible to replace the Boss' voice when the mod tools are released. :v: I want Microsoft Sam as a voice option.
