Joining a friend's new game with a post-game character is the funniest shit. My friend was at the mission where you learn how to customize your car, and I silently waited above the rim jobs inside my [sp]Mech suit[/sp] then waited until he was finished customizing it. When he drove out, I dropped down and completely fucking annihilated his car. His response was basically just "WHAT THE FUCK?"
The funniest thing to do: Get a friend to customize their wardrobe at a gateway. When they're in, use the abduction gun on them. Their character will float away on the customization screen.
So are all the NPCs in the Steelport simulation real people in pods? I have a hard time picturing the random generic NPCs as the "best and brightest" of Earth. [editline]8th September 2013[/editline] When can I do Kinzie's loyalty mission? I just [sp]rescued Gat[/sp] and I haven't seen it yet. I'm worried it didn't unlock or something.
I don't think they're real people in pods, otherwise they'd probably have more of a reaction to glitching the fuck out around rifts and such.
No, they're not all real people, each person in those pods is in their own simulation populated by AIs. If not we'd see other alien species walking around as well. The pods contained more than humans.

There are multiple bugs/glitches to joining a new game though. A lot of my guns had their upgrades removed, and for some reason Benjamin King was wearing his [sp]Morpheus costume[/sp] in cutscenes. Guess he just came back from a costume party or something.
[sp]It's kinda creepy how the revival homes seem perfectly self aware, and even remember their deaths[/sp]
I'm hoping for SR5 [sp]they can use Zin tech to make a real-world body for at least old Shaundi and Veteran Child. If he cleaned up his act he'd basically be Neil Patrick Harris and two Shaundis would be awesome[/sp]. I'm not sure if they'd want [sp]Maero, Cyrus, or Julius[/sp] though, because they still seem to hate the Saints.

I want (ending spoilers) [sp]Jane Austen as a homie in SR5 to see her and Ben King discuss their writing. Zinjai would be a cool homie, too.[/sp]
Since there's no option to play any missions once they're completed, I wonder if there'll be any post-main story DLC
I wish we were getting a [sp]Saints In Time[/sp] DLC where you play as the [sp]Saints yucking it up across history.[/sp]
[sp]personally I think that they killed off characters from SR3 to have some sort of emotional connection to the exploding of Earth. Now that the backlash has started, they'll probably reinclude them in later DLC[/sp]
[sp]This is what pissed me off the most. The way they died almost seemed comical and I thought they had to come back, but then I beat the game and they didn't and I was just like "the fuck." Even the characters didn't care past the time earth actually blew up. Oleg was the best. And they pulled another johnny gat on him.[/sp]

[sp]Why is it that every conversation with Julius and another Revaival Homie ends with him declaring that they are both idiots?[/sp]
Sunday drive in Steelport

He's the more realistic one out of all the groups, the one who saw what he didn't like in Stilwater and tried to fix it. Everyone else is more cartoony and less grounded by comparision[/sp]
[sp]Julius also seemed to be the only one who understood how dangerous the Boss is.[/sp] [editline]8th September 2013[/editline] IdolNinja has released a somewhat working mod that adds hydraulics to cars

Have Volition even said they're thinking of making a fifth game?
Have Volition even said they're thinking of making a fifth game?
I don't think Koch Media would pay 22 or so million dollars for a single game in a franchise. I'm pretty sure Volition is going to make more.
Have Volition even said they're thinking of making a fifth game?
Yes, and it's been stated many times over. Just like the jump from 1-2 to 3-4 it will take a different approach to the series, so it'll be interesting to see what they will come up it. They don't want to try and top the wackiness of 4, they will rather take the series in a different direction.
I hope the Boss will remain the main character forever.
I hope the Boss will remain the main character forever.
Me too, because then I'll be able to continue Beyoncé's criminal career. Forever.

I hope SR5 has fighting styles and using props as weapons, and DEFINITELY the SR2 customization system

It should be called [sp]Saints Row, Too[/sp]
[sp]Saints Row, Too[/sp]
jesus i'm gonna need to rethink my life
