What if Zinyak is somehow able to prove to Ben King that the Protagonist murdered Julius, causing Ben to go berserk, and try to kill the Protagonist in anger, forcing him to kill King in self-defence?
Did you post it twice?
wat
It's a legitimate question, and frankly, I'm worried.
you posted it twice
It's a legitimate question, and frankly, I'm worried.
Yes, it's a normal question
I just know it's gonna come up, and it's gonna end in disaster.
I just know it's gonna come up, and it's gonna end in disaster.
the julius mission was optional and hidden, so volition is probably going to ignore it. or retcon it.

There should be a log of characters, and past events, relevant to the story, so that new players don't have to use the fucking wiki.

Why does Dex remind me of Arsenio Hall?
Funny how, with a game as retarded-looking as this, the story is what fans are most excited for.
They have a lot of plot points from the previous three games I want them to wrap up, specifically Dex.
He becomes the human representative for the aliens.
He is the aliens :tinfoil:
He is the aliens :tinfoil:
I'm calling it.
I'm calling it.
But he just did! It's one of the most poorly written wikis I have ever seen.
I'm on the "Johnny really died" side of the fence, but a part of me hopes that the picture of him in the cover art isn't just a painting.
They have a lot of plot points from the previous three games I want them to wrap up, specifically Dex.
i was really hoping they would go back to the story being a bit more serious before they go back to dex
I think the serious story ship has sailed.
Well, aren't I gonna be a chump for expecting hard drama from a story where I play as the President of the USA during an alien invasion, trapped along with friends in a twisted and bleak version of a city from days gone by.

Man, I'm torn. It's the marketing department's job to make the game look good under any circumstances, and I believe they're failing horribly, but then there's the stubborn motherfuckers, who can't accept the change in tone, regardless of whether the game could objectively make it work or not, and I can't fucking stand them.

the marketing is making the game look like shit but if the series is objectively better being this goofy then fuck the haters
the marketing is making the game look like shit but if the series is objectively better being this goofy then fuck the haters
"the game looks awful but if it's good then fuck the people that say it's bad" okay? getting there, but not quite

Haha, just imagined how fucking funny-looking the tone change would be when SRIV sales tank. Like, the SRV trailer is all in black and white and has a completely dramatic and serious tone change, complete with slow piano music (in contrast with the wubstep they are abusing in their plane-human collision videos) and a slow recount of events in a raspy calm voice, making them sound more serious than they actually were in the game itself.

Give it an entirely different tone than the crazy wub wub they've been doing for SR4 and back on Sr3. But still have really way to extremely serious for it to be actually taken seriously. Like the Nyte Blade commercial narrator from SR3's voice.
I thought this was the last game?
I thought this was the last game?
Now who or what and when told you that? The Saints don't deserve an end. Not yet. [editline]28th May 2013[/editline] By the way, I watched the gameplay video from machinima and the superpowers look cool as fuck, and the cars bouncing to the dubstep gun got me a chuckle from them, and fighting aliens and shit might be cool and that, but I realized it doesn't deserve the Saints Row name, it's what they got wrong in all of this. The relation of the concepts of "game" and "series" is important. When you go to Saints Row, based on the past three games you expect the same underlying concept atop a bunch of stuff defined by the number of the game you are focused on; To kill and overpower the leaders of the other (normally 3, with an extra 4th entity, be it a corporation or another most powerful gang) gangs, and become the crime boss of whatever city the game is located in, with your gang as the nom-de-guerre splayed out in the streets as the one running things. Anyone can expect this from a Saints Row game. The concept of Saints Row IV, though, I just can't associate to the rest of the series. Aliens? Alternate universe? The fucking president of the US? What the fuck? Therefore we can rationalize it's not something too Saints Row-like, and by thus deserves another name. EDIT: Woohoo! I got a dumb by IdolNinja and all. Go anti-alien team XSAINTS-COM, right?
