Well they got the time travel tech at the end of IV, (time travel shenanigans throughout the credits, etc.) though they didn't seem in a big hurry to actually go back and save Earth or anything. I guess if you can travel in time, you might not be in a big hurry to do anything. Except save Christmas. Eventually.

[sp]The "lore" behind How the Saints Save Christmas was confusing as hell, though. The ending showed all the events played occurred purely in the simulation (which Santa got to break out of at the end), which means Klaws, the North Pole, all those elves and everything were purely digital nonsense. How the hell are they supposed to materialize into a potentially restored Earth and cause the bad future, I see no evidence that the Simulation has Tron-style digitizers.
The only other explanation I see could be that the bad future is only within the Simulation, but in that case it seems hard to comprehend how Future Shaundi could've arrived in the real world. It's just a confusing mess (like most Christmas specials from more relatively grounded TV shows or whatever), and I have doubts about accepting that as a way for Earth to come back.[/sp]

I remember they drove this thing around E3 2011 (?) shooting out Saints Row 3 T shirts.
i actually really like where SR4 was as a game. steelport feels different between street level and jumping/hovering around above everywhere in saints 3 and 4. i also really, really loved the super power mechanics and i hope we somehow see them in saints 5. [sp]maybe you hide that super suit that worked in real life at the end of 4 inside your bones like in iron man[/sp]
