I never truly realized just how bad the Steam forums were.

I went there for SFM tips and some other bullshit, luckily I avoided idiotic posts like that.

Possibly a stupid question but I'm assuming that players can go in completely different areas in coop? As in they're not stuck within a certain distance to eachother. Question is for both 2 and 3. Also, I'm thinking of buying SR2 for my friend, as I already have it, but I'm also thinking of buying SR3 for both my friend and I. Which one is better with coop and lasts longer?

You can go wherever you want in the city in coop. SR2 is the best as coop imo but SR3 can also be really fun disregarding the terrible matchmaking.

I hope they've found a way to make characters in cutscenes acknowledge your coop partner somehow.
