I'm guessing they'll be using all of the same character creation assets.
Yes. Already confirmed publicly in an interview from PAX.
Which is weird to me, because some of the voices won't be returning. I suppose you'll just have to pick a new voice, I guess. Doesn't bother me, the british male is back and that's my main. [editline]9th June 2013[/editline]
I'm guessing they'll be using all of the same character creation assets.
Probably, but let's hope they've added a bunch more options to choose from.
I'm guessing they'll be using all of the same character creation assets.
They're probably going to take just the face/hair/body and put you in that sexy presidential suit in the trailers.

Any word if there's gonna be a SR4 Initiation Station before release, like with SR3?
You /should/ be able to access those clothes still, right? That alone would make me drop my Xbox pre-order and pick PC instead.
Yes. Already confirmed publicly in an interview from PAX.
Gonna be difficult for me. Since it importing relies on your THQ account or whatever, when I first signed up, I technically wasn't 18 yet, so in my impatience, I used a parent's email address in the sign-up. Now I forgot my username and password combination, and I can't seem to find which parent email I used. And I'm not allowed to let my game log into another account, which leaves me a little stuck for the time being.
Yes, already confirmed.
...I don't suppose you can give word on the SR3 DLC in SR4? Or will you say more on Tuesday?
...I don't suppose you can give word on the SR3 DLC in SR4? Or will you say more on Tuesday?
They probably gave him a stable release candidate of the game. It was probably all vanilla (apart from maybe the Commander in Chief content).
They probably gave him a stable release candidate of the game. I mean, it /would/ be a hot topic, and with him being the modder who made more content available for people, it would seem to be what he would ask. All assumptions, of course. Then again, he /could/ give us the silent treatment. It'd be better than figuring out what to say to us before E3.
They probably gave him a stable release client version of the game. It was probably all vanilla (apart from maybe the Commander in Chief content).
I honestly have no idea about the dlc. It never came up. Also, it was very much a work in progress daily build that was decidedly not stable. It had animatics for certain cutscense, crashed when accessing the wardrobe, etc. Each day I was there would get a new build ftp'd to the box and I would get to watch freshly completed cutscenes on Steve Jaros' laptop from missions I had already completed the previous day. In fact, Steve was saying that I was actually the very first person that was able to play the entire game all the way through without having to skip over a bunch of missions and content; including their testers. It was actually pretty fucking cool and special.

Maybe there's some legal issues regarding the DLC since that's all under THQ? I'm not sure if Deep Silver acquired the DLC rights when they bought the license. Now, who the fuck was that shit stain they added into SR3 for free? Cheapy D? They should make an IdolNinja homie for SR4. That would be more welcomed.

Well, I guess it's time to resurrect my Sterling Archer character.

His model was just a simple head model added on one of the Saints homie bodies.

I was looking around at the saints row website and noticed they've hardly even updated it for SR4, seems a bit silly with the release just around the corner. I did however find this screenshot
Did he even talk when you had him in your posse? Like, interacting with the other characters?
Did any posse members actually talk, besides story characters? Because to be honest with you, I don't think they did. I'd be interested in fighting such a monstrosity.

Here if you can get over GhostRobos annoying fucking voice.
Story characters did when you had them paired up well. They had conversations at times too.
You know, I never summoned homies, now that I think about it. I did it solo, though also on easy.
I'm really hoping we get some better tattoos in SRIV, since I was kinda disappointed with them in The Third.
Cheapy D was my favourite 'I fancy fucking around' homie. I'd always dismiss him whenever he said he was going to be late for dinner. The line "Let me fill in the paperwork and I'll be there" was my favourite.
oh, so that's why he exists. i was really confused when i unlocked him without seeing him anywhere in the game ever, like "who the fuck is this guy"
