Hey, that was me! And no, we don't. I don't think Idolninja mentioned any of it, either...
I never saw any of that. If it's in the game, I have no idea where you would even try to do it.
EDIT:
This was regarding customizable homies.
The differences between Saints Row: The Third, and Saints Row IV are not unlike the differences between two certain melee weapons, featured in either games:
The Dildo Bat, from The Third, and the lightsaber-katana thingy, from IV.
The Dildo Bat: Flimsy, and awkward, which prevents it's over-the-top theme from being entertaining for very long.
The Lightsaber-Katana Thingy: Old fans will likely be put off by it's strong sci-fi theme, but it's a sharp, beautiful, badass weapon, once given a chance.
has anyone noticed how oleg, zimos, viola, angel, and josh haven't shown up in anything SR4 related?
In the E3 Gameplay footage live-streamed by Square Enix, Josh and Oleg are in the whitehouse.
so do I have to use the super sprint or can I turn that off somehow? looks like it could get really really annoying in confined spaces
it's a superpower, it's most likely optional

All superpowers are toggleable, so yeah, it's totally optional.

that's what I get for leaving tabs open for half an hour without refreshing
still sad female 2 isn't coming back :(
Aw what? When did this happen?
[sp]Now I will never be able to see the President of the United States rant about how everything was better in the old country[/sp]
Wait so, no Russian Accent for female characters?
Female 2's voice actor isn't coming back. However, we don't know who'll replace her. Maybe another woman will voice a pseudo-Eastern European accent (I hope so, I'd love a russian president of the USA)
I hope we atleast get another similar voice and personality.
I hope we atleast get another similar voice and personality.
Well, it happened with the Cockney accent of SR2, so I guess it's not too unlikely.

What?
No! No. No no no.
Nope. Not true. It can't be true. No.
Please?
What?

It's the truth.

Look into the depths of your soul. You know this is the truth.
What's wrong with Zimos?
He smokes.
Hence the autotuned voice (that hole-in-your-neck crap)
so do I have to use the super sprint or can I turn that off somehow? looks like it could get really really annoying in confined spaces
It's always on permanently in the simulation. All passive powers are.

Is it practically possible to sprint inside buildings or would that make me spaz out and ragdoll into a door?
I'm fine with Aliens. To be honest I didn't like the gangs in SRTT.
I liked the idea of the Deckers, it could just have been executed slightly different
I'm fine with Aliens. To be honest I didn't like the gangs in SRTT.
I didn't particularly like the gangs in SRTT either, but I would still have preffered something other than aliens.
In my experience, aliens are just generally not as fun to fight as humans, except as rare, unique enemies, such as boss fights and the like.
Actually I had that problem in SRTT, brutes, STAG and gang specialists were just not very fun to fight after a while.
The game should gradually throw new enemies with their own styles at you, force you to adapt and stay on your toes every arc.
SR3 generally did have a pacing problem IMO.

Pacing?

I just noticed the President's Golden Desert Eagle.

I hope that's in game. It's sick.

Didn't Idol Ninja confirm the guns in-game have different finishes you can choose from? If so it's entirely likely that it is as a customization of the base Desert Eagle The Boss starts with.
I felt like fucking around with the character creator in SR3.

I made a sort of Miami Vice gangster based loosely off of Bruce Campbell as he appears in Burn Notice. I think I did well. I like him enough that he might be my main guy.

This. Deckers and Morning stars are cool but could have been better with the potential they had.
The luchadores are ridiculous. It's like they didn't even try.
"Hey, we gonna do a gang with luchadores, what name could we give them ?"
"Let's just call them luchadores !"

I love SR4 bosses appearance

Art is never representative of the final product. Remember all of SRTT's artwork? Guns, clothing, hair styles, etc that were in those weren't in the game.
The only thing I'm going to change about the default boss is his hairstyle back to how it was in 3. Other than that, I'm leaving him as is.
I loved the look for the default male in 3 that I never bothered changing it.
