Can anybody think of a reason why im crashing on startup with saints row 2? i tried installing the latest version of direct x, i even tried reverting it back to the one that came with saints row 2. Running it in windowed mode didn't help either. this is with vanilla and with gentlemen of the row.

I was going through the crash help in the gentlemen of the row files. Ive got the game on steam aswell just to get that one out the way, tried deleting settings.dat and validating my steam files. It still crashes at new game

I finally completed my 100% save in SR3. And I mean [I]completely[/I] 100%. All story, all city completion, and all Saints' Book diversions.

IIRC, it's because most pc players just buy SR online via steam so the market wasn't large enough on pc
