The daedulas might return anyway, as Kinzie mentions that they could have one of their own eventually.
The daedulas might return anyway, as Kinzie mentions that they could have one of their own eventually.
Last mission, the saints in their own Daedulas vs the alien mothership. [editline]17th March 2013[/editline] In the background you have a fleet of VTOL's fighting alien fighters.
just SR3 isn't as good as SR3.
???
???
Shhh it never happened.
Did anybody ever complete all of the challenges in SR3?
The daedulas might return anyway, as Kinzie mentions that they could have one of their own eventually.
but that was only in the killbane ending which isn't cannon apparently
My favourite thing about SR3 was the music in missions. They made you feel unstoppable. POWER while taking the penthouse and Holding Out For A Hero as you saved Shaundi. The best part of the whole game!
Or when [sp]you have to choose between saving Shaundi and getting revenge, and Holding Out for a Hero starts playing[/sp] I wonder, since the game looks exactly the same will we be able to import our characters from The Third? [editline]17th March 2013[/editline] And why the hell isn't this game called Saints Row Goes Fourth?
Did anybody ever complete all of the challenges in SR3?
My friend and I both did, to get the platinum trophy.
The story was way more captivating too.
My comparison between SR2 and SR3 would be along the lines of: SR2 being a mob set in a cartoon-ish world SR3 being a cartoon set in a mob world If that makes any sense :X
Bring back male voice 01!!!
They probably will since the VA has been with Volition since Red Faction Guerrilla.
I don't get it why you guys insist on fighting over wich SR was the best, i'm sure they all have their moments and flaws. Personally i loved SR3, i've heard that the earlier games was good too, no need to argue with each other about it. I'm definietly looking forward to this, i don't know how many times i've laughed when playing SR3 because it's so ridicilous yet fun, i hope they keep the co-op element and that they perhaps expand it for more then 2 players.
It worries me how they use "simulated" as an excuse to use same city.
I'm sure it won't be exactly the same since there's a big-ass alien ship above Steelport, maybe the aliens have some sort of ground base for the player to attack/explore.
Say what you will about SR3 but the controls on consoles are MILES better than SR2. Aiming isn't stiff and cars feel like they have weight rather than being glued to the road.
It worries me how they use "simulated" as an excuse to use same city.
You know they did the same thing with SR2 right? They just used the same city and added on a few things to it. This game is going to be the jump from SR1 to SR2. Not SR2 to SR3. And everyone was just fine and dandy on how SR2 was.
I'm still a bit optimistic about where the game will take place. When I see the presidency stuff the game is about, I don't think volition would let this apart for all that alien stuff. Maybe the game will be set in two cities. A real one where we play as the president and virtual Steelport where we fight aliens. Meh, that's probably too much to be handled in the game.

Never could play SR1 or SR2. I wish I could, but I don't have any consoles and the SR2 PC port is too crappy to be true. I wish that there would be a proper port or a remake of SR1/2 so I could understand what all the fuzz is about.
I played SR2 again. Stilwater is miles larger than Steelport.
It was nice in SR 2 how areas you may have already captured are still populated with an armed gang of pimps along even though the original enemy gang is gone.
This is one of the things that saddens me the most in Saints Row games. When you conquer all territories, enemy gangs are gone so you have no more enemies to fight but cops. Also, I don't understand all the bitching about SR2 port on PC. It's sure far from being great but it isn't horrendous either imo.

Speaking of which, going to play through SR2 again :v

So not only did the boss become the President, with no real explanation as to why, but also the shitty over the top boob and angry Shaundi is back. [sp]Fuck this game unless they actually fix Shaundi.[/sp]
