The Red Faction series; Originally an FPS by Volition from 2001 where you play as a rebel on Mars in the year 2070 trying to overthrow the tyrannical Ultor Corporation.
Saints Row IV's dream ending for me would have [sp] the Playa waking up in the same graphical level as Saint's Row 1 in the hospital and then he just mutters one word before the screen goes to black: "Fuck." [/sp]...aaaand fin.
That's funny, because this ending would totally ruin everything that happened in 2, 3, and 4 for me.
The boss rebuilds the White House in the middle of Saints Row.

Speaking of SR1, I tried revisiting the Mission from SR2 and everything is blocked off! It's kind of cool though because you can see the doors and everything but there are gates and shit EVERYWHERE.

Hell the boss makes the whole fucking Capitol Saints Row
The Boss should be able to intellectually keep up with Zinyak.

The boss has always been a brute force kind of guy. He leaves the thinking to his lieutenants. The reason he's on top is because he's one of the only people good enough to kick as much ass as he does.
Gonna pre-order this game on steam today. I already own box copies of all the games on 360 anyway and my bro is getting IV on 360 so whatevs.

Maybe they'll add shitty hats for TF later so I can sell them off.

They'll most likely add shitty reskins of the weapons replaced in SR4.

So, maybe not hats.
They'll probably do something a week or 2 before release where they'll have TF2 items.
Guys we all know what the end of SR4 will be [sp]The Boss waking up in Hospital after being shot in the middle of a gang crossfire[/sp]

Saints Row IV's dream ending for me would have [sp] the Playa waking up in the same graphical level as Saint's Row 1 in the hospital and then he just mutters one word before the screen goes to black: "Fuck." [/sp]...aaaand fin.
Both of these endings would probably make me flip out. All this time of playing those games and then that kind of ending would just piss me off. No matter how cool it would be to see SR1 graphics again and to see that they actually remember the first game.
I can imagine that at the end you are near fatally injured in some way, and wake up in a hospital back on earth. Upon waking [sp]Gat[/sp] tells you that you went into a coma after the boat explosion. After you have the appropriate reaction he says "Hah, i'm just fucking with you".
I wouldn't like this one either. Unless there was more to it at the end. If it was just, [sp]Gat[/sp] says that and then credits I'd be ticked.
Remember what I said about SRTT not being a completely broken game? I take it back, it flat out refuses to start on HDDs that are larger than 2TB or are not C:/, which basically fucks people with SSDs over.

My friend has his SRTT on E:/, are you sure about this?
Why is it that everytime I resume my game or load a save file up, I have to sit in the loading screen for nearly 6 minutes before it puts me in the game? This only happens in SRTT and doesn't happen to any other game. I have completed the game so it's not this HUGE ordeal but when I do want to play the game again it takes forever to resume.

Same here, all of my Steam games including SRTT are on E:\ with my OS on my SSD. Saints Row works fine.

My SR3 is installed on J: and it works fine.
The Boss should be able to intellectually keep up with Zinyak.
The Boss isn't exactly intellectual, he doesn't understand anything Kinzie says. He's just really good at kicking ass.
The Boss isn't exactly intellectual, he doesn't understand anything Kinzie says. He's just really good at kicking ass.
I like to imagine he's intellectual and quick at understanding, but just uneducated and doesn't master the lingo
The whole series is a bit of Fridge Brilliance if you consider the standard course of games in its genre. In most gangster movies and games the protagonist accomplishes his goal and either stops there, dies, or goes to jail. Here? You just keep going. Took over the gang? Time to take over the city and one of the biggest corporations in the world. Done? Time to take over the largest crime organization in the world. Finished with that? Time to take over the most powerful nation on Earth. Who else can take you on? Enter aliens. The story keeps getting bigger and more grandiose because The Boss (and by extension, the player) keeps wanting more.

I started out with nothin'... just a kid from the streets, with nothin' to lose. Then I met Julius, and everything changed. Once I joined the 3rd Street Saints, everything started going my way. I'd run some jobs, get paid, and lady luck was on my side. Now I have the women, the clothes, the rides, but it's not enough, I want more, I want it all.

I like to imagine he's intellectual and quick at understanding, but just uneducated and doesn't master the lingo
The boss is "Book Dumb." WARNING TV TROPES LINK
That said, I found it funny that the boss once chastised Shaundi for using saying "These look like Reaper drone controls!" only for the boss to later say that an AWACS was coming in to Steelport. I had to actually look that one up.

Yeah, there would be a full ending and all but i just meant after the last mission and before the real ending.
My SR3 is installed on J: and it works fine.
must be that my E:/ is a 3TB raid array then
I love how The Boss didn't seem to mind the 50s simulation until an imperfection broke his immersion
I love how The Boss didn't seem to mind the 50s simulation until an imperfection broke his immersion
I figure it's like being in a dream. He doesn't even bat an eye at all the things being said to him at the breakfast.
By the way, was that meant to be Shaundi? I couldn't tell.

I guess Boss loves pancakes that much.

Yeah I think that's Shaundi.
Yeah I think that's Shaundi.
Woah, I didnt even recognize her with the Housewife hairstyle
I guess Boss loves pancakes that much.
The way he was using that fork was showing his love.
Woah, I didnt even recognize her with the Housewife hairstyle
and the fact she didn't act like an absolute bitch
I wonder if the 50s simulation will be the same if you play as a female character.
