Go make yourself a fucking waffle
The game may have been worse than the last but it's script is still gold.
The game may have been worse than the last but it's script is still gold.
Correction, Johnny Gat is still gold. Most of the other lines weren't that good, there were some good ones here and there but most of it was ehh.
yea, driving isnt a problem or anything, I just have massive graphical lag when I tumble down (melee attacks on me, that kinda thing) or when I run into other cars :v:
Well, that's a certainly a new one. The SR2 port certainly has the gift of weird bugs that just keep on giving.
Correction, Johnny Gat is still gold. Most of the other lines weren't that good, there were some good ones here and there but most of it was ehh.
Well yeah.
GTA2 had the best gangs of any open world crime game.
woah wait what
It was a cut storyline that had to do with your decision near the end of the game. I don't remember all the details.
but as the "dev leak" thread from /v/ says, hopefully old Shaundi will be back.
How legitimate was that anyways?
How legitimate was that anyways?
I was in that thread, here's what I know: - The first post from the dev had a photograph of the Volition offices, >implying they were legit. A quick reverse-Google Image Search didn't come up with anything. He confirmed that the lady in the car wasn't Viola, several minutes before the official statement said as much. He also talked about the plot (city renovated by aliens, etc) very shortly after the announcement. - At first, they posted anonymously, but since /v/ doesn't have IDs they put on a name and secure tripcode, verifying that all the posts were from the same user. - The thread was late at at night, so after five or six posts the thread died down and turned into general SR3 discussion. There wasn't a new thread to follow up.

Troy Baker confirmed he's returning as one of the male voices.

Fuck yes, at least i'd have something to remember that badass by rather than a few mentions of his off screen death.
I'll be happy as long as they make Steelport actually interesting this time(it was fucking yawntastic in SR3, absolutely nothing to explore as the whole fucking city was all the same), expand the customization A LOT and take the time to finish the game properly. Saints Row 3 just overall felt so rushed and... empty. They HAVE to do better with all the dosh they got from 3's big-ass sales.
I 100% SR3 way too fast. Hopefully they bring more to the table with SR4.
I 100% SR3 way too fast. Hopefully they bring more to the table with SR4.
Now that is one thing I can only agree with. I've played SR2 for unbelievable amounts of time, and I still don't have 100% completion in it, although that's mainly because I spend so much time just fucking around with no rhyme or reason. In SR3 however I got it 100% less than a week after I started playing.
I can't get it 100% unless I start a new save, I can no longer get the STAG Enforcer or whatever that SUV is called, I can't be bothered starting a new save because it means doing some of the shit activities again, like that shitty Tiger Escort.
I feel SR3 was a test in many ways; not only was it a new engine, but also they were working out tester feedback. With the engine done and (supposedly) tweaked, I definitely think that they've worked on making this a better game.
I think you can too easily get too powerful vehicles very early in the game. Not to mention the first of the penthouses has a helicopter pad. I think getting flying vehicles early makes the city feel considerably smaller if you choose to fly around whenever possible.
SR4 is most likely going to be considerably improved. Probably like SR1 to SR2, considering its the exact same scenario.
Troy Baker confirmed he's returning as one of the male voices.
Is Robin Atkin Downes coming back as well? Male Voice 3 was my favorite.
I had to rate everything 1 step lower in the survey so that Gat Memorial Statue will be at the top.
I hope the soundtrack is great again. Playing "Power" while crashing the penthouse, "I Need A Hero" at the climax, those radio stations - Adult Swim, 80s, Spanish Hip-Hop - good stuff all around.

Parachuting into the penthouse with Power playing in the background was probably one of the best moments in the game. You could easily hijack a tank fairly close to the beginning of the game and steamroll around with it as much as you want. I think weapons are the same way, too. [editline]20th March 2013[/editline] Also, side note, Saint's Row III and the DLC is 66% off on Steam.

I really hope Viola's still in it. shit damn they didn't give a fuck [sp]if she died or not, only thing they talked about was shaundi on the badass ending.[/sp]
The only thing I really miss from SR2 is stoner Shaundi. I really didn't like corporate Shaundi, with absolutely no trace her former self intact.
