A near death experience, especially as a hostage, made her reevaluate her life choices. Maybe she never really got over what happened and she's just been bottling up everything. She never knew how to cope with it so she resorted to turbo bitch mode for SR3. Seeing her old self again could finally change her for the better. I take back everything bad I've said about Saints Row 2.* Before I just rushed the main story and felt unfulfilled. Now that I'm taking time to explore the map and do all the side shit it's a much more satisfying game, especially with GotR. I only wish there was a database somewhere with all the changes the mod adds. For example, I unlocked some golden Desert Eagles but I have no idea if it's purely aesthetic or not. Also with all the ludicrousness in the side missions I'd contend that this game can be even wackier than its successor. I like how the promotion for this game has been focused on the US government thing, then you finally start playing the game, lamenting on the obligation to be "The Man," then BAM! An intergalactic war encompassing all of humanity is declared.
