I hope that in Saints Row IV you can get a haircut separately from plastic surgery. Not as much of a problem in the later parts of the game, but when you're first starting, you shouldn't have to pay 500 dollars just for a haircut, it should be a completely independent store that costs 50-100 bucks. Maybe that store could also handle make-up and whatnot, because you have to undergo plastic surgery to change that, too.
You guys are forgetting the most important question. Who will win the chess game?
so weird without the russian voice

There should be a separate shop for cosmetics like haircuts, make up and stuff. And the personality things shouldn't even require surgery (except for voices). We could just custom it into our cribs or something.
$500 is never really a lot of money in any of the games.
there are a lot of times in SRTT when i had less than 1k on hand, and if i wanted a haircut i didn't want to blow half of it on full-on plastic surgery when all i wanted was a haircut

Still biting my thumb waiting for that Inauguration Station
boss is smart in the "knows how to get away with murdering a bajillion people and planning a war" way, not a "computer hacker" way
True, I'm pretty sure all the Boss is good at is figuring out really elaborate ways to hurt and kill people. It's weird he/she doesn't know much beyond that since all the voices (well, six of them) in 3 reference going to college.
Just in case anyone's like me and really wants Saint's Row 2, it's 75% off right now on Steam along with Saint's Row 3.

Maybe the Protagonist dropped out of college when he got mixed up in that shootout in the beginning of SR1. He decided being in a gang would be better than school or something.
boss is smart in the "knows how to get away with murdering a bajillion people and planning a war" way, not a "computer hacker" way
the boss knows how to hack the real world
Gat fits more as the butcher of the crew. It's like the cliché crews in movies. Kinzie is the nerd, Shaundi is the pretty girl, Gat is the brute, the protagonist is the boss and Pierce is the black guy.
When I play, Pierce is secondary black guy to my protagonist.
the boss knows how to hack the real world
oh man the Matrix jokes in IV are gonna be fuckin great
You guys are forgetting the most important question. Who will win the chess game?
Oleg and Pierce are both gonna say "checkmate" at the end of SRIV after executing the alien boss :v:
Or when the Aliens are attacking the White Crib at the start, there is an explosion, you see a chess board fly past you and hear Pierce yell "Dammit!"
The fate of the human race will be determined over a game of chess. Oleg and Pierce duke it out over who gets to play against Zinyak but we all know Oleg is the more reliable one.

I wonder what happened to Burt Reynolds
He remained mayor of Steelport of course.
[sp]and then it ends up as Zinyak vs. Gat :v[/sp]
More like Gat vs. Air, if you get what I mean. [sp]Zinyak ran off at the thought of fighting Gat, thus, in his place, air.[/sp]
More like Gat vs. Air, if you get what I mean. [sp]Zinyak ran off at the thought of fighting Gat, thus, in his place, air.[/sp]
except there is no air because obviously the match will be held in space
Wait, so is there an explanation as to why they're bringing Gat back? Or is it just some retcon sort of excuse just to bring a character back?
Wait, so is there an explanation as to why they're bringing Gat back? Or is it just some retcon sort of excuse just to bring a character back?
Judging by the trailer, looks to me like he was abducted by the Zin.
Judging by the trailer, looks to me like he was abducted by the Zin.
But didn't you hear/witness his death on the plane in SR3?
But didn't you hear/witness his death on the plane in SR3?
Not really. You were just talking to him over an intercomm and it cut to static.
THE GAT IS OUT OF THE BAG. Thanks to you fans, Yes I will be back as JOHNNY GAT in #SaintsRowIV. Get ready! @DSVolition
"Thanks to you fans"? Makes it sound like they weren't originally going to bring him back. He does appear as a zombie at the end of The Third so this seems like a pretty recent decision.

[sp]Because you get it after Three Way, I did it storyline-wise[/sp]
Think of Zombie Gat as an easter egg, as it's not really canon. [sp]Because you get it after Three Way, I did it storyline-wise[/sp]
Mind you, getting Zombie Lin and Carlos in the first 2 were easter eggs as well (moreso than SR3, you actually had to seek out the number of the voodoo company Eye for an Eye to unlock them), and Zombie Lin sightings are a running gag throughout the series thus far.

[sp]Because you get it after Three Way, I did it storyline-wise[/sp]
It'd be kind of cool if that was lampshaded in some form. Like "Where the fuck have you been?" "What do you mean where the fuck have I been? What, a bit of makeup and you think I'm dead?"
