Did anyone expect this game to go big at all? I didn't and indie games like these usually don't have as many views in this thread. The fact the author created bible games makes it more impressing.

I think Mike Schmitt is a sort of "John Smith" guy that the player can Identify with. What i am saying he is basically you or whoever you want him to be.

It's weird that Foxy's getting so much attention since he's the least scary of the four.
Speaking of Foxy, it's very likely he's acting up differently on purpose to get recognition (since he was only shortly used in the day). Even the way he enters the room is very theatrical while all the other animatronics just yell at you. Out of the four, he's probably the one that resembles a likable character too, he looks like a stoned fox pirate.

He probably got tired of bible games and wanted to make some batshit insane stuff for a change :v:
And if it wasn't for Lust, you could almost fit a deadly sin with each of the characters of the game. Mike is greed (works for 4 bucks a week to watch deadly robots), Chica is gluttony, Foxy is envy, Bonnie is wrath (he's always the first at your door, he erratically jumps from room to room), Freddy is pride and phone guy is sloth (he wasn't doing a very good job). Kind of a dumb comparison, but fun to make anyway :v:

I think the appeal of Foxy is to do with how he's something of an outsider from the main 3 animatronics. His first appearance is far more memorable imo than chica or bonnie and the way he's implemented in game is just really interesting.
Also he's the closest of the animatronics to looking like a traditional furry character, which certainly helps matters.

Not to mention hat he's mentioned literally nowhere in the very little promotional material we got for the game, he's literally a random surprise in the game. A ruined surprise since everyone has covered the internet with fan work centered on him sure, but a surprise nonetheless.
Give Foxy some scales and he'd look like a Donky Kong baddie.
Just saying, first time I saw him peepin' through the curtains I thought it was King K. Rool himself...think I've already said that in here, can't remember.

is the eyepatch gonna be up or down?
Speaking of Foxy, how come he's the only one with light up eyes yet the rest just use plastic eyes?

Maybe he was a prototype of a new animatronic endoskeleton, would explain why he is slimmer then the others and has light up eyes, but something went wrong and was shut down. Leaving the pizzeria to keep using the older animatronics.

Speaking of animatronics and their character, I think Freddy and Bonnie are the only two actually haunted/possessed/fucked up animatronics.
They have by far the most influence over the restaurant - Freddy's posters change on their own, the rooms they wander in are the ones that change the most (the story posters in the broom closet, the children's drawings, the back room), Bonnie can disable cameras in his wake, they can both TP around and most importantly, they're the only two characters to appear in hallucinations.
Neither Foxy nor Chica show up in hallucinations or have nearly as much capabilities as Bonnie and Freddy. In day time, Bonnie and Freddy are the two most prominent animatronics, with Freddy singing and Bonnie playing the guitar while Chica is just standing there and Foxy's outright left in a corner. Maybe Freddy and Bonnie are the only robots to have actually gained full conscience and they're merely manipulating the other animatronics which would explain Chica and Foxy's dead eye stare (she never directly looks at you, she always stares in your general direction but her eyes aren't focused on you) while Bonnie and Freddy consistently stare you down directly, making proper eye contact.
Assuming Bonnie and Freddy actually control everyone else, it'd also explain why Foxy works so erratically. He's clearly a different model of animatronic, slimmer and with an endoskeleton that's likely grafted onto the suit itself (hence why it's so hard to replace it and why there's no gap between the eyesockets and the eyes themselves, as well as why these eyes glow to begin with), so Freddy can't control him properly, which leads to very limited and rushed movement, explaining both why Foxy outright charges your door rather than sneak in, and why the bite of '87 was so brutal and obvious while the animatronics have obviously worked hard to keep a low profile to the public. Also explains why Foxy will rush you down [I]during[/I] phone guy's night 2 message, and why he rushed him down during his recording of night 4 when other animatronics would have simply waited for a better opportunity that wouldn't leave such obvious evidence.
It also means that Freddy can probably see through the eyes of that cupcake on your desk, which is why he's so idle in the first days and how he's learned all of your habits and tactics by the sixth.
I wonder what would happen if The Batter from OFF was in this situation.

It helps that if I remember the posters right, the first notable thing was that two kids went missing and were presumed murdered in the pizzeria. An unknown time after that, three more were added to the missing list. If the animatronics are directly linked - by haunting, themselves doing it or otherwise - to the murders, the first two disappearances might be linked between Bonnie and Freddy.

I just saw this theory about the bite of the '87, "One of my friends thinks that the bite of '87 was because an abusive parent was roughing up their child and that Foxy took a bite out of him due to being overprotective of the children." its kinda cute but im not sure, afterall they used to be "just animatronics", what do you guys think?
