So I turned off my sisters light and did an impersonation of Freddy's laugh. She literally inhaled a crisp and started choking on it and I had to save her. Whoops :v: edit: to clarify it made her laugh and that's why she choked on it it wasn't out of terror

So I just heard the full scream sound the animatronics make, rather than it being cut off by the game over. Jesus christ.

Based on some posts I've seen in the /vg/ threads about Freddy's, the torrent of the game apparently comes with a virus that randomly activates a screamer on your web browser around three to seven days after installation. Kinda wonder if the person who made the virus at least made it 5N@F-themed.

So apparently my friend did a prank on their roommate While over at my job last night, they changed their alarm clock ringtone for their phone to be freddy's laugh, and left their phone at their place hidden away when we stopped by to get some stuff. Knowing that their roommate tends to come home around 11pm they had me call them to tell that she was staying over at my place for the night and be back home around 6am. Apparently at 12am, the alarm clock went off and for 6 damn hours this roommate had to endure being stuck in the bathroom due to constantly hearing freddy's laughing. The bonus was the bathroom had TWO ways into it so they literally had to lock both bathroom doors and they were found sobbing in the bathtub as the power did went out around 4:30 but came back on around 6. please do not do this prank, my friend have to do the house cleaning chores for a week.

This was just a game that was simply on a desura page, then it grew into fame.

(that is, on your computer screen.)

Amnesia was the first horror game that recieved pewdiepie's attention and for all the 12 year old fans and memes that spawned in its wake most people still remember it now as a scary game and not some golden goose that got ruined by a youtube LP'er. Let's just hope the sequel to this game won't leave people feeling as indifferent as machine to pigs did.
