Pff, it's a piece of cake. On night 1 you don't even have to glance at the monitor until like 4-5 AM
So apparently my friend did a prank on their roommate While over at my job last night, they changed their alarm clock ringtone for their phone to be freddy's laugh, and left their phone at their place hidden away when we stopped by to get some stuff. Knowing that their roommate tends to come home around 11pm they had me call them to tell that she was staying over at my place for the night and be back home around 6am. Apparently at 12am, the alarm clock went off and for 6 damn hours this roommate had to endure being stuck in the bathroom due to constantly hearing freddy's laughing. The bonus was the bathroom had TWO ways into it so they literally had to lock both bathroom doors and they were found sobbing in the bathtub as the power did went out around 4:30 but came back on around 6. please do not do this prank, my friend have to do the house cleaning chores for a week.
when we played the first time and a friend went outside for a smoke break, I came up with the idea to change the ringtone for a specific phone number in his phone, so if they got normal calls it'd still ring normally. The sub'd ringtone would be the jingle freddy plays in the dark, and while we play the game with some friends we have someone go trip the circuit breaker in the basement, call the phone, then maybe knock a few loud things over in the basement
WE GOTTA PUSH FREDDY'S FOR SUMMERSLAM
ITS ME MIKE, IT WAS ME ALL ALONG
What is that game ,and why does it get that much post per day.
it's a game about surviving in a chuck e cheese from hell it gets so many posts because it's a good game
At first I thought this would be as "scary" as the Slender games, but it is as scary as advertised.
i barely had to do anything until the phone call stopped it's basically a freebie
I think that's why a lot of famous reviewers don't give this game too much thought- the demo is scary for the later half, but the first day is essentially "What am I doing. Why is this scary. Why am I even here." and can ruin the experience if you expect it to suck. [editline]22nd August 2014[/editline] Plus there's a few features that are missing, like a pause menu. For some reason this is a legitimate criticism. What if we got a Hotline Miami 2 pause screen in a future update? [sp]And sometimes they can move while it's paused. Because fuck you, that's why.[/sp]
I would like a pause button because I accidentally closed the game a few times. The last time I accidentally closed it I was gonna die anyways because I was stupid and wasted power while both Chica and Bonnie were in the hallways.
At first I thought this would be as "scary" as the Slender games, but it is as scary as advertised.
It's a different sort of scary, i'd say. If (oldschool) Resident Evil is about the tension of managing your ammunition and supplies as you fight against murderous abominations and zombies, and Slender and Outcast are basically "RUN FROM THE SPOOKS OR YOU GET FUCKED", I'd say FN@F's leans more towards the Resident Evil side of things - except instead of killing abominations with bullets and healing herbs, all you have are two lights, two doors, and a limited set of cameras with an ever-dwindling, unreplenishable source of energy per night as you sit alone, isolated, and simply surviving for as long as hopefully possible to reach the end of the night. It's less scary and rather extremely tense, and the scary bits are more the creepy, unexplainable things and fridge horror behind them. Jump scares are failure states, yes, but the game doesn't need the jump scares to unnerve a player, that's for sure. And it doesn't rely on visible and repulsive body horror and gore like modern Resident Evil does for that scare factor, either.
[sp]1/100 chance that yellow freddy appears once you unpause it[/sp]
[sp]Yellow Freddy should stick to the poster, really- otherwise he just becomes some cheap scare. When he appears, it's your fault- either because you looked at the poster and didn't look away, or because you typed in 1/9/8/7 into the custom night. The more random you make it, the more it seems like "pewdiebait."[/sp]

If you could pause at will, you could take mental breaks, maybe take time to strategize or even exploit the game for more reaction time
great. PDP is now playing the game. Pack up your bags boys, we are done here.
great. PDP is now playing the game. Pack up your bags boys, we are done here.
Every time I see a post like this, i read it as "Oh no, someone popular on youtube played the game it's now garbage" So what if PDP plays it? As annoying as he is, it doesnt detract from the quality experience you get playing the game yourself, or watching other playthroughs.
the fact markipillier played it first should have been enough to ward off the "oh no pewdiepie" people. I don't care what you other guys say, dude is hamming it up hard (jesus christ the faces he makes) and I think he's squandering that voice talent by playing himself off as a doofy viewmagnet for 10 year olds to hyuck it up about as with pewdie, kudos for getting the audience and raking in the revenue, but respect for their success isn't respect for their content

And from the fanbase, comes awful content that does not feel genuine and overall annoying. Now every retard that watched PDP is gonna spout some annoying shit about the game and makes it cringeworthy. Also i should note the since PDP is the most subscribed youtube artist out there, the fanbase is equally as big.
great. PDP is now playing the game. Pack up your bags boys, we are done here.
omg someone who I don't like is playing something I like!! EWWW who cares man, it's like how I don't let the shitlord elitists in the MGS fandom ruin my appreciation of MGS.
And can someone explain why does the thread have that much dumb rates ? And WHY DOES DAI HAVE A SPOOKY PICTURE
And can someone explain why does the thread have that much dumb rates ? And WHY DOES DAI HAVE A SPOOKY PICTURE
It was originally on the video thread showing a youtube video of Markipillier playing this game.
His scream was longer than the scream in the game, what? Nothing is THAT scary. The game is freaky as fuck yeah but come on.
That had to be one of the fakest screams I've ever heard from him. I know his reactions are fake most of the time, but he didn't even try on that one.

Regardless,i shouldn't care the stink, on the bright side, people are buying the game anyway.
It's a shame about Markiplier, really. I quite liked watching his vids at the time and I still have him in my subs, but somewhere after his Outlast playthrough something has gone terribly wrong. He literally can't shut up in his recent vids that I tried watching and he is trying too hard to be ~wacky~, I guess it's all the subs that have done that to him.
Already having "THE SCARIEST" as title killed it
Nah, half his vids are called like that.

this game is to spooky for me
Have we been able to successfully mod anything into the game yet? We got stuff coming out, but any way of putting it back in?
Have we been able to successfully mod anything into the game yet? We got stuff coming out, but any way of putting it back in?
Wasn't there some guy working on a Shrek mod? He even showed off a couple images.
Have we been able to successfully mod anything into the game yet?
Have we been able to successfully mod anything into the game yet? We got stuff coming out, but any way of putting it back in?
I'm confident MMF2 (the program he used to make this game) uses a checksum for data verification. If you don't know what a checksum is: [sp](this is just an analogy, not what is actually happening) The game has 3 resources. Each resource consists of 2 numbers. 1) 3, 2 2) 4, 6 3) 9, 2 The sum of these numbers is 5 + 10 + 11 = 26 When the game is packed to be released, it is packed with the '26' in mind. Every time the game is started, it checks if everything adds up to 26. You can change 3 to your own resource and suddenly it's for example 6, 7 instead of 9, 2. Since the game is expecting 26 not 28, it will fuck you up. This '26' is called a checksum. It doesn't have to be a sum, it can be a complex algorithm.[/sp] This can either be recalculated or patched to be ignored. None of which I can be arsed to do. Right now, at least.
