We don't actually know conclusively that the Bite of '87 even happened because the only mention of it comes from Phone Guy. The dev has confirmed that Phone Guy is an unreliable narrator.
Why did anyone even need his confirmation for that? The phone guy is the most obvious liar in game history.

My assumption has been that the murders occurred first, and the bite happened because of the restaurant becoming haunted. I can imagine that the bite was only one incident out of many as Freddy's gradually slid into the horror show it is by the time the player gets to it.

Out of curiosity I checked to see what Japan's opinion was on this game, but the only Freddy I could actually find was both Kruger and Mercury.

Yes it is in TF2, they do have some stuff for reflections and such, but its pretty mild and I have specular disabled by default, plus its for maps that are mostly dark. Its for a TF2 Mod called Slender Fortress, I've been trying to replicate their behaviours and I believe I've kind of nailed it.

I believe i6nis plans to eventually release them all as SFM and Gmod workshop models. However these ones have been modified with some special animations for the gamemode. Just connecting to the server gives you the files.
I would really like to see a Freddy Kruger mod for this game. Maybe throw in Jason, Myers, and Chucky for good measure.
I feel like the story is good for similar reasons to Hotline Miami, in that it's vague, creepy, mysterious, and nobody knows what the fuck it really is

My sister is much better at this than me. She got to Night 5 without dying once but she only died because I forgot to tell her she shouldn't lift up her feed when the door is jammed and she punched me for talking over the dude on the phone. I bet she beats 20/20/20/20.

I'd still change some stuff in the VMT, they look quite ugly atm (No offence, but they could definitely look better)
