I haven't been so terrified by something since I was a little boy. This game is so fucking terrifying.. First time I played it (and last), I never made it through the first night without getting attacked by that screaming rabbit shithole and I screamed at my monitor and alt-f4'd the game and never touched it again.
I couldn't sleep at night because it felt like they were watching me through the windows or in the closet. Even though I knew it's only a game, and even though almost nothing scares me usually, I just couldn't get a grip on that it's just a game, and nothing about it is real. I lied awake for hours just regretting that I've ever played this game, and started thinking if this game triggered some kind of psychosis or something.
Now, a couple of days later I can atleast read this thread again. And I just realized that I used to have night terrors when I was a child about a robot that would tear of my skin. Spooky shit

The game is special because of it's unique gameplay, refreshing take on horror, and the possible backstories. The game itself hints at various things, and it's fun to make theories on what it means.
In short, what makes this game special is the things you've blatantly ignored.

You should try watching some strategies of gameplay (like Night 7 runs) and try to get a bit farther in the game to get that sense of accomplishment. Maybe it would remove that feeling of helplessness knowing that you were ready for Freddy.

I dunno. Maybe it doesn't exist but I really thought I remembered seeing a comic where it had "I'M NUCLEAAAR!" in big red letters. Maybe I'm confusing it with that stream that wasn't recorded that happened dozens of pages ago.
I always thought that I'd have nightmares about this game, cause robots pretending to be humans or cutesy mascots always freaked me out.
Closest thing I had a nightmare was last night, when I dreamed that Peter Capaldi (i.e 12th Doctor) came into Freddy's Pizza in the day, came up to the animatronics while they were singing on the stage, and started yelling at them for looking dreadful. I distinctly remember Bonnie looking heartbroken as Capaldi told him his weird jointy rabbit ears looked awful.

Speaking of dreams, I had one a couple nights ago that I was the guard in the office, on night 5. I made it through most of the night but then Freddy jumped at me and scare me half to death.... and then I swore at him for catching me and he laughed and said "maybe next time Mike" and people came out to reset everything, like it was all just a simulation or set up like an actual game.

The animatronic voices are pretty good. The whispers however kind of mess it up.

I don't like how there are random voices in these things like "eat them" and such.
Also what is with the messed up audio for the robots in these? I get that they are worn down but for all we know they could of been in Tip top condition back in 87. I am fine with it but it's just weird, mainly the random voices which annoy me.

I decided to misinterpret the strange whispering as a stagehand whispering to the characters what he wants them to say, but they just ignore him and continue standard protocol.
