Personally, my head-canon is that Chica's the only girl animatronic, whereas the others are all dude-bots. Well, it's the most apparent, plus Chica sounds pretty feminine, and vaguely Latino if I may be so bold. Same name could probably apply to a Mexican dancing girl who teams up with Zorro to fight the Space Windmill Railways. Yeah, fanart THAT.

BEEP."[/i][/QUOTE] yeah i dont really understand why people think "they see you as an endoskeleton" is a viable answer to the animatronic's motives the phone guy lied to you about being in danger, he lied about what happened to the other guys, and he lied when he said they're just upset because they keep having to sing those same stupid songs all day but then he says "they'll think you're an endoskeleton and put you in a suit!" and people take it as the word of god just because it somewhat hints at danger, except in an innocent light he takes a really apologetic stance with the animatronics, and even sounded okay as he was about to get killed because he "always wondered what was in those empty heads", he's obviously not reliable at all and it shouldnt have taken the dev to say it flat out for people to realize this and yet people STILL believe the "they see you as an animatronic" theory they might be haunted or they might just be robots that want to kill you for whatever reason, but they're not doing it by accident

He made it very obvious that he was lying when he brought up the other guys. These are clearly things that he is not allowed to tell you but is doing everything in his power to convey to you without stating it outright. He's obviously not the ultimate authority on these things, but he's the best expert there is within the game and his explanation as to why they attacked you actually goes some way to explain why the animatronics don't attack you past 6AM.
