Man I can't wait to see what people can do in SFM with a map like that and the upcoming models. You're undoubtedly gonna get some really bad ones, but I'm optimistic enough to believe there's gonna be some really good ones.

So if they are either all female or male, then that must been they are all Male, considering Foxy is a guy, Freddy is a guy and Bonnie is speculated to be a guy due to the bowtie and such.
Also on the new Wikia, they made a picture with both Bonnie and Chica in the kitchen, Chica is the biggest for some reason.

This just confirms that the characters have genders, not the robots which are just endoskeletons dressed up as the characters..

Locked kitchen with the animatronics in it(can only see them in spectator) and maybe a hidden Golden Freddy poster somewhere?
If not the kitchen idea, maybe the animatronics could just be on the stage, following players with their eyes

I wanted to post this but thought it'll get dumbed. They did try to learn how the game works and ditch it. Helps that Lawrence(glasses guy) knew approx. what game is about and how it works, so he explained just a bit.

Agreed. If they knew you were an endoskeleton, why would they jump you and screech at you? Why would they stare into the cameras when they know you're watching them? Why would Freddy wait it out while playing that tune when the power goes out?
I'm pretty sure they know that you're human, and they know that you're afraid, and that's what drives them forward.
