Is this the 20/20/20/20 ending?
Nah, it's this.
Since this is now in the game section, someone drop me some good pics so I can stick 'em up in the OP.
Nope, this is the best ending
Nope, this is the best ending
sequels looking pretty good already
Nope, this is the best ending
man i would kill for a hobby like this, fucking around and setting chuck-e-cheese robots to the most ridiculous of musics.
Do they have some sort of program which automatically opens their mouth during the vocal parts, or does he/she manually configure that?
Do they have some sort of program which automatically opens their mouth during the vocal parts, or does he/she manually configure that?
they manually configure it, they actually maintain them as a job of sorts and do shows and stuff
it becomes incredibly simple once you realize that "music = sit in the dark and wait" will win you the game
If you take that approach most modern horror titles will have that mechanic to it.
you're over stating how much it would require to fix this game's premise. quick being an apologist for lazy writing!
Suddenly every game has to have A+ writing with reasonable depth or else it's a failure! I guess pretty much every game pre-2000 is a pile of shit right?
enjoy it while it lasts Next week FP will hate the game with a passion same thing happened to slender (though hopefully it doesn't get hated and will get a good fanbase)
The thing is, Slender and its paid version are awful games and not scary at all. Five Nights at Freddys is a great game.
[t]http://puu.sh/aTyYX/6790b6bf3b.jpg[/t] v is shitting oc out their asses
Damn that image is huge! Could you thumb that?
you're over stating how much it would require to fix this game's premise. quick being an apologist for lazy writing!
Id love to hear whats wrong with it and the lazy writing. So far the story has come along very nicely with a lot of questions answered. Its a dark humor game and game stuff it does is no different than fucking portal and im assuming you ate that shit up. Why would Glad0s help you by giving you access to the portal gun? Why does something like the companion cube exist? Why didnt more people raise and red flags about aperture? Why did all those people accept to be a part of obviously fucked up and worthless science experiments? Why did they do it for $100 Rusty? Why? At least Freddys pays you more. Its a fucking story thats why, and in Freddys works really well, its short and sweet but mysterious and a bit silly, just like the game, short and sweet, mysterious, and a bit silly. There isnt any lazy writing and no plot holes so far, you probably are just saying shit again without any real knowledge of what you are talking about. Please list the plot holes, id love to hear what they are from you Rusty.
Anyone try the game's Day seven with the AI set to mimic the day the attack was? 1987 or something?
Anyone try the game's Day seven with the AI set to mimic the day the attack was? 1987 or something?
Yeah, but people have said it does nothing special.
These do seem to be somewhat self aware robots, maybe it's 2087.
These do seem to be somewhat self aware robots, maybe it's 2087.
Kind of a crappy pizzeria for 2087.
These do seem to be somewhat self aware robots, maybe it's 2087.
From what I've seen regarding lore though, that whole "broken robot" thing seems like it's just an explanation made without all of the information we have now. Makes sense that the old guard who leaves the messages would have an incorrect/intentionally-false explanation for the robots' behavior. I mean, with a police report about ~5 kids going missing and later being killed, their corpses never being found, a guy dressing up in a mascot suit to bait them, the animatronics having blood and mucus oozing from them at a later point in time, and one suddenly going apeshit for no reason and biting a kid's frontal lobe off, it seems way more likely that supernatural shittery is going on. Of course, the old night-shift guy wouldn't have found and left all the info out in the open like the player could possibly find through searching, and "Management" is probably in on it all and/or responsible, so they sure as fuck wouldn't tell you the truth. This plot just keeps getting infinitely deeper and spookier, which is surprising for a $2.50 game with such simple mechanics and graphics.
Kind of a crappy pizzeria for 2087.
It's kind of a crappy pizzeria even for 1950. I have a feeling that children's pizza places will be crappy for many years to come.
I always thought it was some sort of sloppy low-tier pizza-place for the kids, in a town where there were no Chuck e-cheese restaurants.

Like, if someone told me "Hey, wanna get payed 100K a year for janitorial duty? Just sign this contract." I would probably accept. I mean what are the odds that I get forced into testing products against my will and eventually murdered by a psychopathic AI?
[t]http://puu.sh/aTyYX/6790b6bf3b.jpg[/t] v is shitting oc out their asses
please 20/20/20/20 ending
Is there any complete walkthroughs of this available that are bearable to watch?
So my theory is that the yellow mascot that goes all ghosty on you is the one that guy dressed up in to lure those 5 children into the back room. If this game really has a paranormal angle to it, I'm assuming that he was executed and is now haunting the restaurant, or the animatronic mascots, specifically. Actually, I doubt that Freddie's is even in operation. It sounds like it would have gotten shut down, so more than likely it's some kinda silent hill thing where you get lured in to your death. I don't know how to explain the other guard in that scenario though, but it's weird that you're the night watchman all week but another night watchman calls you as though he's at work too.
This is the greatest night shift of All Time.
"Hello there Ms. Duck. Yes, please come in. I'll even open the door for you. What the fuck, why are you screaming at me, that's not a good way to treat your host."
god if this is ghosts im just gonna have a internal cry
Is there a video with all the endings so far? Cause I want to see the Duck, Fox and other ones. Also what is this 20/20/20/20 thing about.

People presume there is a secret ending or something.
why would one of the robots tell you how to not get killed by robots? also, how would you be able to keep them in the building? they kill you as soon as they see you also, why does a pizzeria have such little power? power doesn't work this way. is it not connected to the power grid? how come you can barely run a light for long, but there appears to be many other lights on in the pizzeria that aren't effecting your power usage? if murderous robots are such a hazard, why is your only safety against them tied to your very very little power? why hasn't anybody installed a good old fashioned lock on the doors? if if is the robot who called you there, and he wants you to get murdered, why are there any closable doors there at all? i have more questions about this than i did prometheus do you see how I can't really get immersed in this game?
Alright I can actually think of a few explanations for this that might help your immersion/ might help the immersion if they were listed in some way or another in the game (some of them actually are, but in backhanded comments.) -caller isn't a robot -your not keeping them in the building, your just keeping an eye on them/ making sure nothing gets IN and gets murdered (making sure you dont get murdered as well) (management doesnt care about your life/ its easier to hire someone new and sweep the old guy under the rug than go out of business and pay some guys family and tell him he has to have a closed casket) -power is from generator because boss is too cheap to pay for power for the gaurd room (gaurd room seems to be built differently than rest of place so it might use more power) (in this case the building could be older in some way and used to have been something else? not sure how to explain all of this one) -locks for the advanced spring doors/ weird doors from the old buissiness probably cost money (which boss doesnt want to spend) And if you stick with the "this used to be another bussiness" type thing, then that could add to the lore as well. I know not all of you may agree with me, but I thought it might help to add to the lore/ help rusty's disbelief/ etc. and its better than just straight up calling rusty a troll and saying ignore it.
