• Five Nights at Freddy's. The indie horror game where animatronics from a pizzaria try to murder you
Well that's just unrealistic the manager at Freddy's would barely be able to afford to hire one illegal immigrant, let alone two licensed repairmen
they could with a toolbox that belonged to the DMV.
One of the 4 newspapers you can see in the cameras says Freddy Fazbear's Pizza (the actual name of the resteraunt) is to "close by year's end" due to health inspection violations (the anamatronics smell like rotten meat and evidently this got people sick) as well as controversy surrounding a serial killer who murdered children while dressing up as Freddy. The killer was detained so he's not related to the robots, unless they convicted the wrong guy. Seems Freddy Fazbear's Pizza can't catch a break. The sequel that the developer said he'd do will probably be the anamatronics loose in the streets, if the restaurant is closing down in the game's world.
I think it would be cooler to be in a themepark, maybe with multiplayer options (other guards at other guardposts), lots more space to keep an eye on, and you can help cover the blind spots of other guards.
A friend of mine tried out the windowed mode. Window doesn't scale right so he's unable to press the buttons on both sides.
Jesus fucking christ. Scouring through the sounds, the second scream that I haven't seen used is much more terrifying. :v:
Jesus fucking christ. Scouring through the sounds, the second scream that I haven't seen used is much more terrifying. :v:
You think you could post a quick sample of it for those who don't wish to get the sounds?
You think you could post a quick sample of it for those who don't wish to get the sounds?
Here, I'll just upload them all in a youtube video. One sec. I'll do short sounds, long ones, and the phone calls all seperate. If I disappear, I'm not dead, I need to get food. Gonna try to get the short ones done before I bail. :v:
Obviously you're not there to protect the pizzeria, the animatronics have that pretty much covered. People have been saying that you're there to stop people from getting in and getting killed, but I find that unlikely as well, because there's jack shit you could do to stop somebody from getting into the building. I think the most reasonable explanation is that you're there to stop the animatronics from leaving. Now, I don't mean you're there to force them to stay inside, that wouldn't be possible. What I mean is that so long as they're busy trying to get you, they aren't trying to get outside. You're probably live bait to keep them in. That also explains why you don't have a door that stays shut without draining power; if there was no chance of them getting in, they'd eventually give up and begin wandering, possibly going outside.
This is a transcript of the audio from the phonecalls, as such they are gonna have spoilers. They only go up to Day 5, so don't expect anything magical day 6 shit, the Day 5 Audio is also creepy as shit. If anyone could elaborate what that text is, feel free to throw it my way. As for the Transcript, it was originally from /v/ so heads up to whoever did that. Ive seen people get really confused in terms of the story, so i decided to have this here for reference.
[sp]RECORDINGS: NIGHT 1 “Hello? Heeeeloooo! Uhhh, I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled in on your first night. Umm., I actually worked in that office before you. I’m...finishing up my last week now as a matter of fact so...I know it can be a little overwhelming, but i’m here to tell you: there’s nothing to worry about, uhh, you’ll do fine! So...let’s just focus on getting you through your first week. Ok? Uh...let’s see. First there’s an introductory greeting from the company i’m supposed to read. Eeh it’s kind of a legal thing, you know. ‘Welcome to Freddy Fazzbear’s Pizza: a magical place where kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life. Fazzbear entertainment is not responsible for damage, property or person. Upon the discovery of the damage or death of the third, a missing person’s report will be filled within ninety days or as soon as property and premise have been thoroughly cleaned and bleached and the carpets have been replaced. Blah, blah, blah.’ Now that might seem bad, I know, there’s really nothing to worry about. Uhh, the animatronic characters here do get a bit quirky at night, but do I blame them? No! If I were force to sing...those same stupid songs for twenty years and I never got a bath? I’d probably be a bit irritable at night too. So remember: these characters hold a special place in the heart of children. You need to show them a little respect. Right? Ok. So just be aware: the characters do tend to wander a bit. Uhh, they’re left with some kind of ‘free-roaming mode’ at night. Uhhh...something about their servos locking up if they get turned off for too long. Uhh...they used to wander during the day too, but then there was the bite of eighty seven. Yeah...i-it’s amazing that the human body can live without the frontal lobe, ya know? Now concerning you’re safety: the only real risk to you as the night watchmen here, if any, is the fact that these characters...uhh, if they happen to see you after hours probably won’t recognize you as a person. They’ll-they’ll most likely see you as a metal endo-skeleton without its’ costume on. Now, since that’s against the rules at Freddy Fazzbear’s Pizza, They’ll probably try ta...forcefully stuff you inside a Freddy Fazzbear suit. Umm, now that wouldn’t be so bad if the suits themselves weren’t filled with crossbeams,;wires; and animatronic devices, especially around the facial area, so you can imagine how having your head forced inside one of those could cause a bit of discomfort...and death. Uhh...the only parts of you that would likely see the light of day again would be your eyeballs and teeth would pop out the front of the mask. ...Yeah they don’t tell you these things when you sign up... But hey! First day should be a breeze, i’ll chat with you tomorrow, uhh, check those cameras, and remember to close the doors only if absolutely necessary. Gotta conserve power. Alright. Goodnight.” RECORDINGS: NIGHT 2 "Err, hello! Hello? Uhh... well, if you're hearing this, you made it to day two. Uhh, congrats! I-I won't talk quite as long this time since Freddy and his friends tend to become more active as the week progresses. Umm...you might need to go ahead and peak at those cameras while I talk; just to make sure everyone is in their proper place, ya know? Uhh, interestingly enough, Freddy himself doesn't come off stage very often. I heard he becomes a lot more active in the dark ,though, sooo hey, I guess that's another reason not to run out of power, right? I also want to emphasize the importance of using your door lights: uhh, there are blind-spots in your camera views and the blind spots happen to be right outside your door, so if you can't find something, or someone on your cameras, be sure to check the door-lights. Uhh, you might have only a few seconds to react, but...not that you would be in any danger of course, i'm not implying that. Also: check on the curtain in Pirate Cove from time to time; the character in their seems unique in that it becomes more active if the cameras remain off for long periods of time. I guess he doesn't like being watched. I don't know. Anyway, i'm sure you have everything under control. Uhh...talk to you soon!” RECORDINGS: NIGHT 3 “Hello, hello! Hey, you’re doing great! Most people don’t last this long! I mean, ya know, the-they usually move on to other things by now...i’m not implying that they died. Tha-that-that’s not what I meant... Uhh, anyway, I better not take up too much of your time, uhh, things starting getting real tonight. Uh, h-hey listen, I had an idea: If you happen to get caught and want to avoid getting stuffed into a Freddy suit, uhh, try playing dead. Ya know: go limp. Uhh, maybe they’ll think you’re an empty costume instead. Then again, if they think you’re an empty costume, they might try ta...stuff a metal skeleton into you. I wonder how that would work... ...yeeeah never mind; scratch that, it’s best just to not get caught. Umm, well, ok. I-I’ll leave you to it. See you on the flip side.” RECORDINGS: NIGHT 4 “Hello, hello! Hey! Hey wow, day four...I knew you could do it. Hey, listen....I might not be around to send you a message tomorrow (Freddy bangs on powerlocked doors). It’s-It’s been a bad night here. For me. Umm...I-I’m kinda glad that I recorded my messages for you... ahem er, when I did. H-hey, do me a favor: maybe sometime, eh, you could check inside those suits, in-in the back room? I’ma try to hold out...until someone...checks. Maybe it won’t be so bad. I-I-I always wondered what was in those empty heads...back there- (Freddy’s music begins to play. The one he plays when you run out of power) Oh no... (Guard is assaulted by an animatron. Presumably Freddy) RECORDINGS: NIGHT 5 SLOWED DOWN, REVERSED HUMAN SPEECH (Presumably an animatron’s voice. Could be altered beyond just slowing and reversal.)[/sp]
Actually, I gotta bail now. I'll upload the single scream. I can make a youtube video with all the phone recordings, ambient, etc - later. :v: I think it's basically the first scream slowed down to 15 seconds instead of 5, but it reminds me of the guy on the phone.
if you post that cat in lmaop it becomes Five Nights at Facepunch
Does that make the Rust section Five Permas at Postal's?

Why would a pizzeria have so many fucking animatronics and suits in that one room. No place has that many, they only have 1. I bet the animatronics are pulling all the strings, they use people and hire them the job just for bodys so they can make more animatronics, they are doing this because they probably had to slow down after killing so many kids and getting noticed so instead they just use employees or maybe just the guard. I know the dev had a comment I saw that was saying there are hints to why each is haunted, and he did say the word haunted. I do think theres more to it than just ghosts though, maybe the original 4 are haunted, but the ones they are creating are something else. As to why you have such limited power and such an insane job, I think thats just a funny game and story thing, but I dont know it could have more to it. I am really curious of the kitchen, when its music its Freddie doing his song, when its the Chick it sounds like someones fucking around with shit with pans.

That means it could be another resturaunt so its a chain. Huh.... that kind of throws the cheapskate thing out the window. Hm. Good thing about that though means that it also throws ghosts out the window unless somehow a ghosts haunts all the restaurants at once.

jesus christ, I haven't even played this game or watched any videos on it but I've read every page of this thread and I'm creeped the fuck out by it
I just realized that the other guard on the phone is actually guarding ANOTHER place while your doing your watch I think. So, just as a follow up to what I said earlier. It could be 9768, Because there are lights at the top of the page and they add up to 9. I don't know though, hopefully I'm not just posting shit people have already tried.
My friend gifted me Five Lovely Nights at your best Pals Freddy's Pizzeria. If someone wants to help me figure out how to stream, add me on steam and give me a hand there.
Pretty lame how when Foxy gets sick of your bullshit and charges right for the guard room its completely silent His big clanky footsteps should be so loud and horrifying you can't possibly not hear it; like in the Play Pals video they didn't even know something was wrong until after he already made it to the door
Thought he says it's a recorded on like day 4.
That means he records each one beforehand though on the day that your gaurding. Idk, I guess it makes sense if he's the guard just before you. I just find it weird that the phone actually rings before the recording plays, unlike an answering machine.
You know what? This whole game actually reminds me of one mp3 recording I made when I was still in elementary school about an animatronic coming after me in the dark wanting to transform me into something. I was obviously talking bullshit but I was little back then but the recording had a similar plot towards this game. The recording is long gone though.

In Short, the guard that died before you. Poor Bastard, he died on his second to last night on this horrible job.
why would one of the robots tell you how to not get killed by robots? also, how would you be able to keep them in the building? they kill you as soon as they see you also, why does a pizzeria have such little power? power doesn't work this way. is it not connected to the power grid? how come you can barely run a light for long, but there appears to be many other lights on in the pizzeria that aren't effecting your power usage? if murderous robots are such a hazard, why is your only safety against them tied to your very very little power? why hasn't anybody installed a good old fashioned lock on the doors? if if is the robot who called you there, and he wants you to get murdered, why are there any closable doors there at all? i have more questions about this than i did prometheus do you see how I can't really get immersed in this game?
i know this is a few pages late but seriously? do you not have the slightest bit of suspension of disbelief? i can understand not liking the plot, but you're talking about basic game mechanics. its like complaining about flashlights that die too quickly or reloading in fpses where you throw out an entire clip but the bullets stay
In Short, the guard that died before you. Poor Bastard, he died on his second to last night on this horrible job.
and he was just 2 days from retirement
That means he records each one beforehand though on the day that your gaurding. Idk, I guess it makes sense if he's the guard just before you. I really wanna hear the backwards dialogue.
I wish sites like Desura accepted Paysafe. I got 50 € on a pre-paid card from a friend after I bought him Battlefield 4, and only a few websites accept it :S Steam does, which is why I've been doing raffles every now and then since I already have most of what I want there. GOG does as well, but humble bundle for example doesn't.
My download keeps getting stuck at 219.54, anyone know a fix? Desura btw.
and he was just 2 days from retirement
Sounds like he retired early. [sp]YEEAAHHHHHHHHHHH[/sp]
and he was just 2 days from retirement
Sounds like he got promoted. [sp]YEEEAAaaahh...I guess[/sp]
