Remember how Foxy wasn't in any of the original game's trailers?
... Yeah. Who knows how much fucking stuff is being hidden from us right now.
I am going to be unable to watch videos of this, let alone PLAY IT.
Holy fucking shit this looks absolutely terrifiying
Actually this doesn't look creepy to me, maybe ingame it feels creepier.

Here's hoping in the final release that the lightning is much darker. I found it too bright, diminishing the spooky!

Don't say that. Scott might see it and remove lights from the release version. Invisible animatronics oh god.
hopefully the new "scare" noise is the screaming at the end of the trailer, instead of the god-awful ear rape EEEEEEEEEEE in the first game.
And despite all the upgrades and improvements to the Fazbear characters, the management was still cheap as shit not to include you in their facial recognition database. Quality business.
A lot of this CG looks pretty WIP, I'm excited to see how everything comes together :D (also, I think old Chica's upper eyes are breaking apart, hence the absolute fucking alien look)
Um. If you watch Foxy leaping out in the trailer in slow mo, he doesn't jump from the corridor. He actually jumps at a slight curvature so from slighty ABOVE you. That gives me a thought you will really struggle to hear him. But my biggest fear is how New Foxy will act and your warning that the animatronics are near.
Faceless Bonnie looming over you with those piercing red eyes in the trailer will probably prevent me playing this because that's really fuckin creepy :v:
I think I am the only one who's hoping that Golden Freddy returns.
I've been posting a lot but there's another theory that the new Foxy is damaged because it's a Build-Your-Own-Animatronic, which would explain the posters of the children and why new Foxy is abandoned in Kid's Cove.
I think I am the only one who's hoping that Golden Freddy returns.
I don't think there's been a single post in here that said they weren't hoping he would return.
So I strongly doubt that.
After talking to my friend about FN@F 2, he told me a theory (I hope that is the correct word for this) that he had on the new Animatronics which seems to be likely. You guys probably thought about it but for those who didn't (like me) this is the theory.
So the Mask is there to protect you from the Old Animatronics, since they will think you are one of them, therefore saving you. But if you use the Mask when the New Animatronics are around they will kill you as part of their programming, which is to dismantle the originals, so you would need to take it off as they come around to you (which I will explain), since they would identify you (with the facial recognition) as the Security Guard.
So you have 2 groups of Animatronics.
1. Naturally Hostile. The Originals.
2. Naturally Kind. The New Ones.
The reason the New Animatronics are active at night is because they Patrol the area to make sure the Originals don't get out of the Pizzeria and attack people. So the reason in some screenshots you see Foxy 2 in the hallway looking at you, Bonnie 2 in the vents and Chica in the bathroom Hallway is because they are patrolling around, looking for the Animatronics if they disappeared. They aren't coming to kill you, they are checking every little bit of the Pizzeria, it is to distract you and scare you since you think they are going to kill you due to the first game. So think of it like this, remember how people make comics of Foxy checking on you to see how you are? IT'S THAT, they are checking on you, making sure you are alive. THEY ARE PROTECTING YOU. But if you slip up and put the Mask on, it is your fault, since they are programmed to dismantle the Old Animatronics.
Now onto my Theory, due to the fact only 4 are Naturally Hostile, we will be seeing more Animatronics than the current 8. I also believe this since Scott said he was planning to add Cut Animatronics from the first game into the second. But we won't be getting just 1 or 3, it would be Equal, always 2. 1 Naturally Hostile and 1 Naturally Nice, to keep Balance. So if Scott was adding a New Animatronic, instead of it being 9, it would be 10. No Odd Numbers, all Even Numbers.
I really like the first bit (if it is infact true) since you would have to be really careful with the Old and New ones, as it will be a punishment for wearing it on all the time, since if you wore it all the time you would survive the night, but since the New ones would dismantle the Originals, you won't be able to survive the night since you would be dead if they caught you.
I would be impressed and thoroughly disturbed if this is indeed the case.
Hearing the animatronics slaughter each other or seeing the aftermath of such an ordeal only to not end up knowing whom of the two survived would add so much.

The hallway is dark, it is implied he leaped in there, also he looks big as hell when he jumps, the size of the corridor. :v:

How will this possibly contribute to there being multiple nights? I mean, it's a little weird to think of a whole business day passing between nights if the robots are all ripped apart.

Building an animatronic is very complex. If in the first game the circuits in the suit kills you, why do they let kids do it by themselves?

Also remember that the trailers for the first game didn't have content that entirely made it to the final product, and the game still releases in 2015 despite so much content seemingly being worked on already. There's a shitton of room for changes, revision and completely new stuff to throw people's expectations around.

"Out of order" ??
Spare parts? Animatronics taking each others their place?
The staff aint aware the old ones a spooking about?
It's a fun thing to think about, not intending to spur deep thoughts and that it should work perfectly. :v:

Here's an extra thought I wanted to contribute involving the 'kids' dismantling new Foxy: [sp]what if the kids are meant to be the ghosts of the old Animatronics, literally ripping apart the new Foxy personally as vengeance for their own abandoned and disrepaired states?[/sp]
Am I the only one who noticed Foxy seems to be missing his left arm when he leaps at you?
To be honest I think the sequel isn't going to live up to the first. The first game was more atmosphere, where little to nothing was going on and occasionally the Animatronics would move, and since there is only 4 you think it will be fine. You hear random music, sounds, hardly any light and see weird shit, and not to mention you have limited power, but in the sequel there are more Animatronics, lights and a Mask that can protect you. When I rewatched the trailer for the first I felt creeped out but then I rewatched the sequel trailer and I didn't feel the same. It is more active than the first, and that is what I liked, the less Animatronics the less active it will be, I mean heck you can survive the first night by idling, but in the sequel it will be more active, you will always be thinking of someone coming to get you and you are right, more Animatronics, more enemies, more chance of dying and sooner. I hope this made sense but if it didn't then I am sorry, it's hard to explain. I hope the sequel will still be good.

Oh and the Animatronics while the old are more banged up, the new ones are more clean and don't look scary at all. I found in the first game they were creepy and scary but in the new one, I don't get the same feeling.
Freddy rebuilt himself or was rebuilt with parts of the other animatronics. He looks different because that's Bonnie's face he's got now.

Or hey, maybe the dev just reused assets?
Am I the only one who noticed Foxy seems to be missing his left arm when he leaps at you?
I assume you mean right? Anyway yeah it kinda does look like he is, but it might just be the angle.

Probably, considering you can see his left arm.

Funny thing is, the first game promo image with Freddy inbetween two Endoskeletons, he looks like he is doing the "Dat ass" face.
HIS left.
So our right. That is what I meant.
I rewatched the trailer...
...and Dismantled Bonnie is mortifying beyond words still. Also, do we know if the new Animatronics are friendly or not? How about the new night guard's name?

It's basically "They won't find your body" level creepy.
