From my memories of the one time I went to a Chuck E. Cheese's, this is much more accurate.

From reading the comments on various videos, apparently CEC corporate is/was super, super anal about restaurant owners destroying the animatronics and costumes when they closed or updated. The Showbiz characters were actually owned by another guy and leased by the restaurant so when the merged company decided to convert the Showbiz restaurants to Chuck E. Cheese they didn't give a fuck what happened to the robots. So the Showbiz bots are relatively easy for collectors to get while finding Chuck and company is like winning the lottery. Took the guy years and years and probably gobs of money to get this all together.[/QUOTE]

Also, my new head canon is that Freddy has since moved up from being the food manager at Marc's to having his own Pizzaria.

The person who uploaded the 2nd CEC video has some HD footage of the characters performing a few of the other skits. After watching through a few I was surprised at the amount of innuendo. In one they're singing about tumbleweeds and Jasper tells Harmony he'd like to tumble in the weeds with her. :dance:
No way that would fly today. I heard they've pretty much sucked all the personality out of the characters now. I guess back in the 80s the parents were too distracted to listen to what the animatronics were actually saying.
I kinda wish Scott would do a crappy 80's promo video for the sequel.

Maybe the run-down atmosphere and obvious indifference of management, but the parallels between the FNAF and CEC characters are way too apparent to be coincidence.
Freddy = Chuck E. (Alliterative name, hat, bow tie)
Bonnie = Munch (Color)
Chica = Helen (Both chickens and the only canonly female cast member)
Foxy = Jasper (Both canines)

For the first picture, I just used paint and used pure white with the bucket tool on the corner and I got that. Looks like Foxy.
For the second picture, I used GIMP and color select to a threshold of 1, clicked on a corner, deleted, and got THAT. I will not sleep tonight.

Yeah that thing doesn't have head. It may look like it has one, but it looks more like a skewed shadow coming from the mask. I mean it's a headless body with a floating mask. That's whack.
