So the guy calls you on 6th night and essentially goes "What on earth are you doing there, its closed down, we had an empty yellow suit, and now none of the bots are acting correctly. Just finish your shift, and take the one tomorrow, it's a birthday part, stay close to the animatronics and make sure they don't hurt anyone. I'll take the night shift tomorrow."
I told Scott in the stream he should release the 3D meshes for the animatronics

What if it was Michael Schmidt's birthday on 10-20 mode? And he gets his paycheck on his birthday years later...
If this theory is legit, that easily sets up the game for a third installment- the animatronics from before the "new" ones.

The manager, actually, since he only really needed you for 5 nights till the party. You weren't supposed to be there for the 6th, since that's when the animations were supposed to get agitated/angry for the party. Of course, then in the next night, they thought the manager got rid of the old security guard, and after the killings, they got him too.
Just an idea.

The theory brought up on donnie's stream was that they're in the process of being built.
With Foxy it is the most clear where he's in better repair than in the first game.
still its weird that the NEWER Fazbear pizzeria would use the old animatronics instead of the toy ones if FN@F2 is a prequel
edit: so its not a prequel, but it seems this is a new location away from the old one, and looking back the phone guy did state on day 2 that they were using the old animatronics as spare parts....
which if they are corrupted....would corrupt the new animatronics...
Too much points to this being the sequel. The Phone guy explains that the old animatrons had a nasty "smell", the change of the layout of the building, no power limit anymore and how there are now three entrances, etc.
