Five Nights at Freddy's. The indie horror game where animatronics from a pizzaria try to murder you

So Sjeiks is gonna stream this soon and in the meantime he's not gonna check any threads about the game. I want to fuck with him on the stream but I need some ideas, I already set it so that whenever someone follows him on Twitch while he's online a screamer sound plays, but that's not gonna cut it. How can I give him PTSD
Okay, so based on the phone calls we've heard so far, I think I can sum up the basic, surface plot of 5N@F2 pretty well.
Night 1: Introduction, talks about Mike moving to the day shift, new animatronics with facial recognition linked to a criminal database. Marionette and his music box are explained, mask mechanic is explained.
Night 2: Talks about old animatronics being retrofitted with facial recognition, then they were scrapped because of their appearance and odor and are now being used for spare parts. New animatronics were made to be "super kid-friendly". Says the mask mechanic works on them too (may not work on Bonnie, but I'm still convinced it's just because he got into the room and it was too late). Mask mechanic won't work on Foxy, so you're told to flash lights at him repeatedly until he goes away due to a system restart, and that the flashing lights may work on other animatronics too. Finally, he says the Marionette is "always thinking" and it can go anywhere, and the mask won't fool it.
Night 3: Talks about Mangle (aka, New Foxy) and how he was made to keep kids entertained. Kids are always wrecking Mangle during the day and it got to the point where they repurposed him to be some kind of "take-apart, put-back-together" attraction. He tells you to ignore any rumors going around about the establishment, no matter how strange or tragic they sound. The day guard (Mike) supposedly reports nothing suspicious so far.
Night 4: Investigations going on and the potential closing of the restaurant for a few days, "just as a precaution". He doesn't say what happened, but Phone Guy claims "Fazbear Entertainment denies no involvement" with whatever it is. He mentions avoiding eye contact with the animatronics because someone may have tampered with their facial recognition program and as a result, the animatronics are acting aggressive towards staff members, although they're still perfectly content around children.
Night 5: The building is put on lockdown tonight, so nobody can enter or leave, something about "previous employees" being part of the problem. Phone Guy says after tonight you may be moved to the day shift because Mike allegedly quit. He says he's going to try and contact the original restaurant's owner (calls the old restaurant "Freddy Fazbear's Diner or something", could be the same place or it could be something we never knew about before), but he says the restaurant has been closed for years and tracking down the manager may be impossible.
Night 6: Phone Guy says you aren't supposed to be there that night due to a memo about the restaurant being closed down for an indeterminate period of time. Someone used/tampered with the Golden Freddy suit in the back and now all of the animatronics are acting strangely. He says not to try to leave in the middle of the night (for obvious reasons, the murderbots are coming!). He says there's a birthday scheduled for tomorrow and he wants you to work the day shift to make sure nothing goes wrong, and when the building officially re-opens (very odd that there's a birthday tomorrow if the building is closed down for a while), he'll take over the night shift.
And there's no call on night 7. Maybe we'll be able to glean some more information from the Freddy cutscenes or the Atari minigames.
it seems everyone that i know of on the FNAF section on twitch is having trouble with night 6. Donnie64 is still going on it .
Can't let you do that, pirate fox... Unless it's transparent!
Don't have photoshop, and I'm lazy from all the rum too. Can't make it transparent. </3
[sp]I would be very grateful if someone assed to make it transparent for me.[/sp]
So wait...there was another restaurant before Freddy Fazbear's? And they had animatronics?
If the date is 1987, there is no way any of those were EVER regular animatronics. Free-roaming animatronics are still pretty rare today, and a decently functioning full size animatronic with free roaming capabilities hasn't even been built yet. I thought I had a decent knowledge of the history and the timelines but it's all come crashing down with this game. x_x
So I have an idea of what's going on, based on the phone calls and how the check is dated for 1987 but this game isn't a prequel.
[Sp]the phone calls later imply that the day shift security guard, heavily implied to be Mike, used a golden freddy suit to do something terrible then disappeared.
We knew in the first game that Mike was suffering some pretty heavy duty hallucinations, and some of what happened during the night was real (the animatronics being aggressive) and some was in his head (golden freddy, the posters changing). What if this applied further, to the phone calls he was getting? What if the bite of 87 was something he imagined phone guy telling him about, and was delusional enough to believe that it was an event that happened in the past, when in reality, it was either 1987 that year or soon would be? What if the child murders hadn't actually happened yet, and the news articles he saw were fabrications of an event in his mind?
So Mike gets moved to day shift, starts fucking with the animatronics, and eventually loses it and plays out these events he'd imagined by becoming the child killer in the golden freddy suit? [/sp]
I fired up FN@F2, played through night 1, started to panic when all three new animatronics were off the stage by 4 am but managed to keep it together and beat the first one.
Night two, mid phone call, I check for Mangle and she's gone. I panic and check every camera, can't find her, and NOPE out of the game.

You have my deepest thanks.
Wow, I can't believe it got released
The lore is already making some of the cut corners completely worth it. Glad to see people aren't hung up on it now
So, I gathered up my courage and played the FNAF2 Demo, and I did even better in it than I did the first game, to my surprise. (Still haven't tried to beat Night 3, don't think I ever will)
The first night went over a breeze, only having to put my mask on for Toy Bonnie once, and the rest of the time just having to keep the music box wound up and checking the corridor for Foxy/Freddy.
Night 2 was a bit more tricky, as BB and Mangle camped my vents quite a bit. Chika popped up once or twice in the corridor but she was never a problem, and Bonnie only appeared once for me. It was kinda stressful having to deal with 6 animatronics and the music box, but simple none the less.
In my opinion, the first two nights seem a bit too easy, but it could just be like that for the demo, as when you finish the demo, it says "Why don't you try the full game, it gets worse from here." or something a long those lines.
I think I'll definitely pick up the full game at some point, but perhaps after it's been (hopefully) updated some.

Tossing this up on the new page in case anyone misses it.
Why are we getting paid less than before? :v:
Why are we getting paid less than before? :v:
Batteries for your flashlight cost more money than a rigged DIY generator to keep the lights on and doors closed.
So it's extracted from employees' paychecks, naturally.

its weird that in this game golden freddy is a thing but he still acts the same way as before (though this time he interrupts the camera signal forcing you to come out of the camera)
also the guy acts like...no one was suppose to touch golden freddy, not even for spare parts
I went to sleep, woke up, and see 350 new posts. Someone want to summarize what happened?

Game released early. 350 posts in a nutshell.
So the second one is basically just as terrible as the first but with even lazier jumpscares.
Nice.
Edit: Making a quick buck by releasing the same game with some different mechanics made in less than 3 months, but selling it for an even higher price.

The second game came out without the supposed demo release to the public scheduled today, Livestreamers are already getting far into the game, Learning more about the animatronics and who is in the game and not. Some theory crafting about how 5N@F2 was a prequel but got dismissed by scott. and thats about everything notable
Someone on tumblr just pointed out that the radio interference noise Mangle makes might be a police scanner, since the robots do have access to police databases.

The letters that I hear keep looping on the minigame sound like S A V E T H E M over and over again.

god forbid a 5 dollar game made by one guy becomes 8 dollars in an expanded sequel with new features
think of all the children in poverty!!!
have anyone compile all the cutscene's and mini games yet?
-snip, didn't read thoroughly enough-
I'm sitting in bed reading all this info when suddenly I hear a loud thump outside of my door.
It's 2am and I'm home alone.
Someone hold me... or at least hold a flashlight to keep them fuckers away plz.
Really, because I see "WASD".
I'm talking about the SOUND not the visual on the screen.
How do you even get a lasting sense of dread from the animatronics
Like, don't get me wrong, I like the games but their designs aren't properly creepy

I don't find them particularly creepy out of context but in the game they definitely are unsettling
the atmosphere, the noises and shit they make, makes them way freakier
Ok, the mannequin reminds me Spirited Away, not joking.
And i'm loving BB, i didn't expect this kind of addition.
