Why hasn't anyone brought up the Bite of '87. Since the sequel/prequel is set in the same year.

This is most likely late, but I want to have this confirmed. From what I can tell, the cutscenes show the original bodies from FN@F 1. Not the redesigned bodies from FN@F 2. IS this an oversight, or does this mean something. [editline]edit[/editline] Jesus, it's just an observation. I didn't see it mentioned in the thread so I thought I would bring it up.

Who is the purple man that I saw people posting about before?

I still don't understand the it's me thing.

the very fact the one time the "its me" pops up, Chica, bonnie AND golden freddy are seen staring at freddy" seems it tied moreso to freddy

My theory: [sp]It all begins at Fazbear's Diner, a "Family Friendly" diner. However, the owner kept the place in poor condition (hence leading to the odor from the animatronics) and the characters themselves were quite disturbing for children and adults, leading to its inevitable shutdown. Then, a few years later, a company buys the rights to the characters and gives them a complete makeover, improving them vastly. With the includement of the criminal database. They then turn it into a pizzeria. So what if the criminal recognition system malfunctioned? My theory is that there was a glitch after the guy stole the freddy suit and kidnapped the kids, thus leading to the animatronics freaking out and registering all adults as criminals and thus attacking. This of course leads to the bite of 87. They are simply just trying to do their job of protecting the kids, hence the "SAVE THEM" in the mini-games. They are saving the kids from the adults, who, thanks to the glitch, are all assumed to be killers. This of course leads to the shutdown of the pizzeria and the complete rebuilding of it, with of course, a smaller budget due to the prior events. They then make huge overhauls to the Diner animatronics, making them slightly more child friendly, fixing glitches (why they aren't stunned by lights in the first), etc. However, due to the low budget they still have remnants of the old system originally installed, allowing them to free roam at night and mistake people for endoskeletons.[/sp] There is some stuff I'm still deciding on, but I feel it fits well so far, the main flaw being why [sp]the marionette appears when the new new restaurant is built in the cutscenes[/sp]

The purple man may be a pedo, or a murderer. A man that the bots are designed to recognize? The marionette has been around since the first game, and always focused on Freddy. And where the hell is Fazbear's Diner?

i wonder, is the purple man a dude in a Bonnie suit? because maybe the killer wore a bonnie suit? Maybe there is more then one murderer and one of them wore the freddy suit and another wore and bonnie suit.

There's a drawing behind him that shows him giving a present to a pretty happy kid, so the kids definitely interact with him just like the animatronics it's also the reason BB doesn't directly attack you; he's visually just a child himself, so the marionette couldn't bear to make him a killer too[/sp]

The old Foxy/Freddy/Chica/Bonnie DO have different faces/ looks to them in FNAF2, and yet in the cutscenes they *are* their old FNAF1 models. If this points to FNAF2 as prequel, the cutscenes could be flashes to the future. (thus updated Chica+Bonnie) Maybe it is premonitions of you being killed+ existing in the Freddy suit in the FNAF1 game?? If this points to FNAF2 as sequel, it could be flashbacks to when the marionette first arrived, the dead kids first experiencing 'the joys of creation'... but then my beef is, why are the FNAF2 old models not completely identical to the FNAF1 ones? There was NO reason to renovate them, they are purely scrap for spares.

Did it ever say if the restaurant was under new management? Perhaps the man in purple was the one who corrupted the animatrons through the puppet. Causing the place to shut down so he could buy it for himself?

So the purple man is only seen killing the left out child in the cake minigame, and stood by pirate cove in the foxy minigame. Can someone post a nice, hires image of the security room with no animatronics in? I've been struggling to think of rooms to fill my level with for my Level Design module, and a security room would go nicely...
