Hey so poked my head in here because I was curious to the reaction on the game coming out early (apparently others are mad?) Turns out your all fine with it and read a couple posts but had a simple question because the ~lore~ as convulted as it sounds is kind of interesting. Not spoiling it cause spoiling a random guess from someone who hasn't seen anything on 2 really is dumb. People are saying that the security guard from 1 (Mike?) is the killer and stuff, what if the "It's Me!" popups isn't Freddy saying it/thinking it but instead Mike? If he donned the suit and killed kids or whatever and saw robots going after him and he really is going nuts that would make sense to me.

The jump scares at the end of the mini games feel extremely out of place.

It was summarized for me by another friend as "instead of adding polish or anything he said whatever and shoved it out the door without testing things." Anyone else think the screamer sound in 5N@F2 sounds kind of like someone shouting "yay!"?

Something just occurred to me, but what if phone guy actually never died in the first game? Maybe he decided to take the next day off after having a near death experience. What if the voice on night five of the original game is actually just the marionette trying to freak you out? Or maybe the game is just a prequel? Almost all of this stuff is making no sense to me at all.

I personally subscribe to the [sp]"Groundhog Day/Cycle"[/sp] theory, it can explain a whole lot, so I've tried to boil it down, it's still quite the wall of text, sorry about that [sp]A mysterious man uses a golden freddy suit to lure and kill some children, the marionette comes into play and tries to avenge the children by killing the murderer with the bots FNAF1 happens and mike survives the bots. Fazbears is closed due to the murders, and bloody, smelly bots. the grand opening arrives with FNAF2, mike is moved to the day shift and Jeremy is put on the night shift. The marionette realizes that his previous approaches haven't worked, he needs to be more direct. he haunts mike, and drives him insane; a new cycle begins at this point, for some unknown reason. Mike is fired, but still has access codes/keys because fazbears uses old technology Mike (our mysterious man), in his insane state, uses the golden suit to kill some children (Influenced by the story he's heard), and programs the bots to attack, resulting in one biting someone during the last children's party, the one Jeremy is at after he finishes his week; the bite of 87, and resulting in the marionette being involved in the first place. Fritz smith is hired to cover the night of the bite of 87' party while jeremy is sleeping/in hospital after covering the party. This is why the marionette targets mike; He's the killer in the next cycle along, it's trying to SAVE THEM/HELP THEM (the kids) by killing mike before he kills the children, even though, by extension, it's a previous cycle's marionette that causes him to kill them; A PARADOX Phone guy takes the night shift as he says he would and looks for someone else to cover it, leaving them messages on how to do the job; a new security guard is hired (mike) and the whole cycle repeats[/sp] [sp]The only questions to answer are: Why is the marionette omnipotent? Why do new cycles begin? At what point does our phone friend re-animate? Who is the purple man and what is his relevance? [/sp] I tried to boil it down as much as possible, [I]you guys tell me what you think[/I]
