I personally subscribe to the [sp]"Groundhog Day/Cycle"[/sp] theory, it can explain a whole lot, so I've tried to boil it down, it's still quite the wall of text, sorry about that [sp]A mysterious man uses a golden freddy suit to lure and kill some children, the marionette comes into play and tries to avenge the children by killing the murderer with the bots FNAF1 happens and mike survives the bots. Fazbears is closed due to the murders, and bloody, smelly bots. the grand opening arrives with FNAF2, mike is moved to the day shift and our new guy is put on the night shift. The marionette realizes that his previous approaches haven't worked, he needs to be more direct. he haunts mike, and drives him insane; a new cycle begins at this point, for some unknown reason. Mike (our mysterious man), in his insane state, uses the golden suit to kill some children (Influenced by the story he's heard), and programs the bots to attack, resulting in one biting someone during the last children's party, the one our new guy is at after he finishes his week; the bite of 87, and resulting in the marionette being involved in the first place. This is why the marionette targets mike, as he's the killer in the next cycle along, it's trying to SAVE THEM/HELP THEM (the kids) by killing mike before he kills the children, even though, by extension, it's a previous cycle's marionette that causes him to kill them; A PARADOX Phone guy takes the night shift as he says he would and looks for someone else to cover it, leaving them messages on how to do the job; a new security guard is hired (mike) and the whole cycle repeats[/sp] [sp]The only questions to answer are: Why is the marionette omnipotent? Why do new cycles begin? At what point does our phone friend re-animate? [/sp] I tried to boil it down as much as possible, you guys tell me what you think
It all makes sense except the new guy's name is Jeremy Fitzgerald and on night seven you play as someone named Fritz Smith. So it kinda falls flat when you realize that we're not playing as Mike this time.
So the minigame's (sans foxy one) spell out Save them (follow the puppet), Help them (give gifts, give life), and save him (give cake to the children). What I think is interesting is the "save him" on the cake one. Since theres that kid out side that gets killed.
[snip pic] Here's a good look at our favorite puppet from the incomplete texture dump.
GOOD LORD. I refreshed the page, and somehow that creepy fucker ended up being the only thing that showed for a moment. Dead center. Staring before vanishing as the page moved to another fully-loaded spot. I think I pooped a little. ... And I just realized that my first post was about dropping my fudge. Great.

What if the actual game of surviving the night is the sequel aspect of it and the minigames go back to the "Freddy's Dinner"and the bite of 87, and the Freddy memories are from Mikes final night before killing the kids. also a side note, the heads of the animatronics always move to look at the Freddy during the memories, aside from when the marionette appears and in that one they are completely unresponsive. So i wonder if you hold still in that memory (or any for that matter) that the marionette or the others would react differently. another thought even though its ridiculous, what if the minigames are a crude way of symbolizing the animatronics A.I, with the whole save them thing, and them slowing down and having errors (purple man and marionette) and so on causing them to go haywire.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN. What prompts him? Is he only a % show up when Marionette is coming for your butt? People are also asking if it's Golden Freddy's endoskeleton? SO MANY QUESTIONS.
YES, I beat night 5.
After watching the video It's_Me posted above , Mike being the marionette makes alot of sense aside from the obvious him being a spooky ghost now, think about it. Mike leads the Freddy animatronic to the box in the minigame, He puts Freddy's endoskeleton in the box and takes the suit, sits on stage in the memories and murders the kids the next day. nevermind, just remembered That Freddy sees the marionette in a memory. I hate how this game has abunch of theories that amost get somewhere, but lead somewhere completely different.

Has Scott ever confirmed a third game? I would love to see a conclusion, but I would prefer it if he would make something new and different before making another Freddy game.
What if Mike, is Marionette, and that is why we see Marionette in those cutscenes. And the reason they are going after Marionette, probably because Marionette gave kids life as Animatronics or something.
Going to get the sequel next week. I never bought the first game (a friend gave it to me) but with all the enjoyment I got out of it I want to support the developers... er, developer. How's the game? Better/worse than the original?
Well it's only been a few days since this one came out (I thought it'd be finished a few months later), so if he is announcing another installation in the Freddy Fazbear Project, it would be some time next year in Spring or Summer.
Why did I jumped, that jumpscare looks like a Batman transition lmao
Funny enough, I've considered asking if there's a good marionette face, but thanks to the following guy:
Here's a good look at our favorite puppet from the incomplete texture dump.
It was done. (I wanted to embed it from Dropbox, instead, but FacePunch doesn't seem to like it, so)

C'mon it was released today and you are already talking about the sequel?
Too soon for a new game. C'mon it was released today and you are already talking about the sequel?
How long after the first game did he announce the production of this game?
People are also asking if it's Golden Freddy's endoskeleton? SO MANY QUESTIONS.
I doubt this as golden freddy's new model has wires coming out of it, which likely means there is infact an endoskeleton inside him.
How long after the first game did he announce the production of this game?
Don't remember exactly when but somebody sent him an email asking him during the time it started to get very popular and he said he was working on it.
Hey guys my friend bought me the new game and is forcing me to stream it for his pleasure so I figure if anyone wants to watch me cry like a baby you're free to pop on in. http://www.twitch.tv/icebrigade
How long after the first game did he announce the production of this game?
Are you saying FNAF should become every EA game ever? Releasing every 3 months?
[t]http://i.imgur.com/Exnb0P2.png[/t] The extraction continues!
The paycheck says 11-12-1987... today is 11-11-2014. I wonder if something will happen tomorrow relating to that date.
Or maybe, 11th of December?
A guy on steam community thinks this is real. He even added me to "prove" it was, even though he never provided any solid evidence. And yes I know the extraction isn't complete, but still, it's fake.
Is there a picture missing? :3
Yeah, I thought steam community wouldn't be a problem but it was.
Also that stream account "scottcawthon5nights" or whatever on Twitch that commented the game is a prequel is fake. (Although I'm still pretty sure it isn't a prequel) https://twitter.com/animdude1 : Scott's Twitter "Come and mind me I made a new @Twitch account, find me on animdude1 and I am on the @Yamimash livestream!" - Scott Cawthon
Not surprising, felt really out of character for Scott's personality.
