That'd make sense. Scott said Bonnie was the one that gave him nightmares.

I wasn't sure if I should try to play the game past night 2. That picture settles it. NO. It looks almost as if Bonnie is... hanging. Like by a noose. Dang, I just got spooked out.
Also, since I'm learning texmod stuff, I made a spoopy video to scare my rl friends (and you too if you're easily spooked) to test out my abilities. Enjoy. I have no clue where that sound came from at the end, but it surely adds to it.

Jesus, I don't know why, but to me, that thing is more unnerving than anything else I've seen so far. It's just the pitch black silhouette accompanied by the high contrast of pure white teeth and massive eyes. I actually have to scroll away from it. It's weird.
I don't know if this was needed but i made a group page on steam for this thread. Feel free to join if you want to, i might delete if no one decides to join it

Does anyone else always say hello or hi back to the balloon boy? I just can't stop myself from doing that.

Of course. Hopefully then they'll show me some form of mercy.
Alright, so here is a theory. What if the guy who gets changed to day shift at the beginning is the murderer of the children?
I only say this because:
1) He complained that the robots came after him in the office. This could be because he had a record of some type and they scanned him at some point. This lead them to coming after him, which lead to him complaining and moving to day shift.
2) This would explain why the robots even try to get into the office while you're there. They scanned the guy before, knew what he was and were trying to get him. You took his spot so they still come trying to get him. Since your job is keeping them out, they never scan you and find out it you aren't him. This leads them to always coming back for you.
3) When you are 'caught', you're just put in the back room. You're not suited. You're not killed. You're just moved. This is because they scanned you and saw you're a different person. So they moved on.
Also a side note, this also makes me believe that they started acting weird and staring at adults because they were still looking for him during the day. This scanning would lead to them staring at people. Not letting them could lead to some harm if they were trying to stop you. That's just a thought though. Base off of the phone guys call on whatever night it was. -too lazy to look-
So they stare at the adults to scan them, just to find that one guy?
heres a close up of the pink slip
So they stare at the adults to scan them, just to find that one guy?
If it was in their programming to stop and catch people like him then I'd think it'd make sense. If they learned how to walk around during the day (Phone Guy's comment on day 1), then they could easily learn that he showed up every night for a week so he comes by often. This could lead to them scanning more often to find him. Thus, scanning the adults during the day time along with trying to get him at night.

I'm not sure, but that's what I love about these games. Scott leaves it up to the players to ultimately decide what this whole thing is all about it. I'm not gonna lie, the best works of art are those that leave it up to the viewer to decide what it's all about, and that statement has held it's water for centuries. It allows the observer to feel as if they are a part of the artwork in a way, whatever the medium. Sorry if that is completely off topic, but I absolutely love art, from books to paintings to movies, games, etc., and whatever else you can think of. FN@F leaves you thinking at a deeper level (about what it is, at least) after you've experienced it, and even though it is just a game that is something a lot of other popular forms of media/artwork fail to achieve nowadays.
I'm just saying this because I've read a lot of theories about these games, and a lot of them make sense. There is no definitive answer, in the end I think Scott wants you to interpret the game for yourself and for you to interpret what you think the whole thing adds up to.
what if Fritz Smith is the phone guy?
what if Fritz Smith is the phone guy?
Fritz Smith got fired on his first day. Phone Guy has been and employee for a while.
This being a prequel feels really weird to me. Everything's progressed. The Old animatronics have fallen into disrepair, new animatronics have taken their place and the diner has been expanded. But then all of a sudden it is decided to scrap the new animatronics, but not the old ones for some reason, to refurbish the old animatronics but only to the point that they still look worn down and to open another diner, but this time with no mention of any kind of reopening.
I just can't shake the feeling that Scott designed the game as a sequel and then somewhere along the line changed his mind.
I have a question: Has anyone tried doing other things in the death minigames? Like going after the purple man in the foxy one or exploring the restaurant in one of the freddy ones? I'm wondering if there's more to be seen besides the obvious.
I was reading Phone Guy's Night 6 speech when a bit jumped out at me that IMO lends credence to the theory that [sp]the animatronics are trying to attack guards[/sp]:
"[sp]You’ll be on day shift. Wear your uniform. Stay close to the animatronics and make sure they don’t hurt anyone, okay?[/sp]"
Specifically the part where he says "[sp]Wear your uniform[/sp]". That was specifically mentioned. I don't think that's unintentional, especially given the stuff mentioned earlier about [sp]the man in purple wearing a badge in the one minigame[/sp].

Now you've got me wondering what happens if you just [sp]let the kids in the cake minigame starve[/sp]. Is there some sort of timer or something, or does the final animation just loop?
Also, I'm wondering now—what things should require spoiler tags and what should we consider fair game?

anything that the phone dude says between night 1 and night 3 shouldn't be spoiler tagged, imo
hang on a minute the pink slip refers to Fritz being employee #3 implying he was hired 3rd the natural thought would be Mike and Jeremy being #1 and #2 or unless its non specific to security guards and just referring to employees of the Fazbear pizzeria?
wow, I don't know why my post got so messed up. Also, I'M STILL STUCK ON NIGHT 4, GOD DAMN IT! Hate BB...

Surely Phone Guy is #1? (or Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen)

Sorry if it's a bit old, but all I can see is this:

Just a little fun fact I found according to an inflation calculator:
$100.50 in 1987 is equal to about $120.49 in 1991.
It could be a possible year for FNAF1, but since they might not be the same place they might not have the same pay.
Wait, what about this line from Night 6? [sp]uh when the place eventually opens again I’ll probably take the night shift myself. Okay, good night and good luck.[/sp]
Still conflicts with the pink slip memo. Fritz could have just been a temp.

Really shit... anagrams... of each other. (I'm being facetious..)
[t]http://oi57.tinypic.com/ng3mgp.jpg[/t]
So, does that mean we have ghosts in FNAF2?
Really shit... anagrams... of each other. (I'm being facetious..)
Mike Schmidt is an anagram of IT'S ME.... with the letters to spell "dim chk" left over.
