• Five Nights at Freddy's. The indie horror game where animatronics from a pizzaria try to murder you
What gets me is the multiple factors here. [sp]Shadow Freddy, Golden Freddy, and the Marionette along with the Endoskeleton. The Endoskeleton seems to fit Golden Freddy, but no one's player's killed by it yet so we don't know if it's a haunting thing like Shadow Freddy. The Marionette is either the killer by wearing the Golden Freddy suit as Freddy turned the kid's bodies into the animatronics, and/or responsible for turning the fifth into an animatronic when they were murdered by Purple Guy in a misguided attempt of saving them. So where do the Shadow Freddy and Endoskeleton ultimately settle in?[/sp]
the endoskeleton is only for haunting. i've looked through the texture dump and only found two files of him: one in the prize room, and one in the left vent.
Does anyone have all the cutscenes?
Repost for new page.
Pic 716-717 in the dump is from idk what minigame with a crying child in blue that has a chunk of his right face cut off. Definitely symbolizes the frontal lobe and Bite of 87, but does it mean it happened before or after fnaf 2? Perhaps it was a foreshadow?
Repost for new page.

Here are the cutscenes in order! "it's me" flashes in the upper left corner after every cutscene. The 2nd one, going into night 3 at 11:50 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EcYaMN1jc4 And the 3rd, going into night 4 at 7:27 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZKByTtRXxY And the 4th, going into night 5 at 7:20 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0DRiooRodo The 5th, after beating night 5 at 7:10 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_RskFob0Mo&list=UU01kI882FtuOsnpzmC9NoPQ The 6th, after beating night 6 at 7:10 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97f6fY0GT9U&list=UU01kI882FtuOsnpzmC9NoPQ&index=2 The 7th, after beating night 7, all 0's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9trEdjMFv4Q&feature=youtu.be (from Dinky_Dana's stream) I couldn't find the first one, I think it's a one time event. The cutscenes after night 5 and night 6 are just the check images, with night 6's image giving some information toward the fate of the new restaurant. The night 7 video is of shoddy quality, since I ripped it from Dinky_Dana's stream. Hopefully he will upload a better version soon.
I think that's all of them at least
You know how in the first game there is talk of 5 kids being killed and we assumed the 5th one was golden freddy. But since FNAF 2 I think the 5th kid is the marionette. That or the marionette is possessed by a evil spirit seeing as how most dolls are easy bodies for souls and evil spirits.

Huh, well that was disappointing. I just did 4/20 in FN@F2, it's easy. Man Night 6 was harder than that, heck even 4/20 on the original was harder. I took me one try to beat 4/20 in FN@F2.
So, what're we going to do after some maniac beats Golden Freddy mode? Build a statue of him out of the dung we shat out from all the scares?
Judging my take on 10/20, getting to 1AM at least. I would say with enough practice it will be possible.
What's bothering me is that I don't get the significance of the music box or... well, the 'toy' bots in general, really. You'd think since the music box keeps the Marionette at bay or asleep or whatever it'd have some other contextual significance but it's really just there, like the new animatronics. The best guesses I can come up with? For the new bots: [sp]Since they used the old animatronics for parts, in a way they ARE the old bots, or at least share their sentience.[/sp] For the music box? [sp]It ties into the theory that the Marionette was the first murdered child. The murderer who worked as a security guard brought it in when the Marionette started coming after him. When he was switched to another shift they kept the box because it does it does the trick to keep him inactive. But why does it work? Maybe there's something about the music box that the Marionette remembers...[/sp]
Made a little Marionette thing. Sorry it's rough around the edge, dunno how to make it smooth [T]http://i.imgur.com/f7kUCBk.gif[/T]
is there anyway to replace some sounds for FNAF2? i'd love to use some old ones if possible
Made a little Marionette thing. Sorry it's rough around the edge, dunno how to make it smooth [T]http://i.imgur.com/f7kUCBk.gif[/T]
I love how it bobs as it floats.
Where's the animated short where Bonnie's talking to Foxy and saying, "Well you're the smartest and the most intelligent and the kindest so why not you?"
From the Nightmare Fuel page for the game on TV Tropes: "[sp]The creepy drawings in general. The children have seen horrors that might make you think twice about going to Freddy's. One drawing features Bonnie, Chica, and Freddy with hollow eyes and creepy grins, and one shows the old Chica towering over a child opening her gaping mouth. And then there's Golden Freddy, the destruction of Foxy 2.0, and the Marionette... And Scott said that he doesn't include details for no reason.[/sp]" The remark about [sp]Chica with the open mouth[/sp] is causing me to question my understanding of the game's events.

So I thought more about it and here's my crazy crack pot theory on Fritz Smith [sp]Fritz was hired as a mechanic to keep the bots in order. He got into some trouble with the law and has a light criminal record of minor felonys. He was unaware of the facial recognition software until after he started work his first day. Since some repairs would cause him to stay late the manager (employee #1) offered to pay him extra to watch the place during repairs. During that night Fritz tried turning off the facial recognition software. He believed that it worked but he took a spare Freddy head just in case something went wrong so he could hide his face. The difficulty levels are side effects of him trying to turn off the face recognition software. What actually happened was he turned the facial recognition software up to the point where most adults and especially fazbear staff are considered threats. He manages to survive the night but gets promptly fired the next day when the manager finds the Freddy head and sees that the bots are acting strange. Another guard is hired and survives the week without a Freddy head. But still witnesses the bots acting strange and moving around on their own. He didn't feel safe without a door or something so he "finished his week, but complained about... conditions.". So then Jeremy gets hired. Something about how Fritz tempered with the bots AI made them get progressively more dangerous. The bots have become so pre-cautious by night four that they've kidnapped several children and stuffed them into suits for safe keeping. By night five the second guard got recognized by a guard during the day shift and was bit in the frontal lobe. The manager begins to suspect Fritz and he is arrested and blamed for kidnapping and murdering the children. This is what phone guy means when he says "uh, no one is allowed in or out, y'know, especially concerning any...previous employees. Um, when we get it all sorted out, we may move you to the day shift, a position just became...available". Jeremy Comes in on night 6 while the place is closed and is trapped for the night. Assuming he survives he switches to day shift in the place of the second guard.[/sp] I'm probably reading too far into things but its my crazy crackpot theory for now.
Holy shit I love how Foxy just close lines you across the desk
you know I think I'd be willing to play FN@F2 if instead of a security guard you played as the DOOMguy and you ran around ripping their endoskeletons out and shoving them back down their throats I mean I know everyone has their own theories but I'm going with evil animatronic demons
This is actually p easy. Just gotta spam the lights, flashligh, and music box.
[sp]Fuck you and your surprise. Scared the shit out of me.[/sp] I really like, though :v:
Fun fact: [sp]The first frame's delay that makes the wait for the surprise so long is set to exactly 19.87 seconds.[/sp]
So heres my idea on "the day shift" guy in FNAF2 [sp]Phone guy night 5: Um hey, keep a close eye on things tonight, ok? Um, from what I understand, the building is on lockdown, uh, no one is allowed in or out, y'know, especially concerning any...previous employees. Um, when we get it all sorted out, we may move you to the day shift, a position just became...available...[/sp] [sp]night 6: Someone used one of the suits. We had a spare in the back, a yellow one, the one used in...now none of them are acting right. Listen j-just finish your shift it’s safer than trying to leave in the middle of the night. Uh we have one more event scheduled for tomorrow, a birthday. You’ll be on day shift wear your uniform, stay close to the animatronics, make sure they don’t hurt anyone okay, uh for now just make it through the night, uh when the place eventually opens again I’ll probably take the night shift myself.[/sp] [sp]Previous employees? A position became available? Someone used the yellow suit? For me, this adds up to being that the day shift guy in fnaf2 is golden freddy and is the killer of the 4 kids, and when the robots get weird around adults during the day. Then the bite of 87 happens, Jeremy is the one who lost his frontal lobe, Fritz is fired from his first day, the restaurant closes down and re-opens, and phone guy does the night shift till mike does in fnaf1. still doesnt explain everything obviously, like the puppet and why the robots are still killers before the 5th and 6th night.[/sp]
So is the cutscene where you view through the eyes of freddy supposed to happen only after game over/ level complete? I had the first cutscene of it play on start up on the demo, which was odd...
I've been examining the minigames in more depth, and have been coming up with a lot of theories about them. First, the games themselves (so far) Hurry! The foxy minigames. You play foxy and run to a group of 4 happy kids and 1 meh kid twice, then the third time purple guy is standing next to pirate's cove and the 5 kids are dead. No voice audio. Roam (for lack of a better name) You play as FN@F1 Freddy and explore around the restaurant, finding Marionette crawling on the ground leading you to prize cove and a dead kid. Possible changes to this one include spawning in the security room, party room, or parts room, golden freddy showing up somewhere, and elongated purple guy catching you causing the game to crash with a "you can't" message being displayed. Audio is "S A V E T H E M" Give Gifts/Give Life: You play as the marionette, putting gifts down, and then giving life to the four original animatronics. You move slower as the game goes on. Audio track plays "H E L P T H E M" Give Cake! You play as a different version of Freddy, with a cupcake tray and a tophat, giving cake to 6 kids inside a room with a door. Outside, another kid cries, a car pulls up, the purple guy gets out, the kid dies, and the car drives off. Freddy moves slower as the game goes on. Audio track plays "S A V E H I M" My theory is that these are... Memories I guess you would call them? Of the animatronics themselves. I think that "give cake" is a reference to the original Fredbear's Family Diner, with the original owner only having one animatronic, the titular Freddy Fazbear. Hurry is the first game's restaurant, which is why there are 5 dead kids. Roam is the current version of the restaurant, and give gifts/life could refer to somewhere in between the openings.

Anyway why do people think Jeremy is the Front Lobe guy, I don't really understand. Also I went back to the first game and to be honest, I prefer the first game. You actually use the camera's, you can look around, the atmosphere is nice, and you don't have and keyboard buttons to use, it's just your mouse. And going left and right to do the lights for the doors is slower. I like just having the Door Lights, it adds more suspense since if you use the tablet and can't find someone, you will start to think it is in front of the door, you look at the door way, pitch black, turn the light on and bam, an animatronic. But in the sequel, you just focus on the Prize Room, and you don't really need to worry about figuring out where someone is, because they are always usually near you. There is no use for the tablet anymore except for that puppet.

The second game added an extra step of holding down the mouse to charge the music box.
So 500 post since I've last been here. Can someone give me the brief description of what is going on?

which makes no sense at all, Scott. FN@F2 is necessarily either a prequel or a game weighed down by plot holes and continuity errors. do we even still know if Scott actually said this in the chat? we can try emailing him about it but he'll probably just say :^)
