So the strategy to beating [sp]the animatronics who don't go away until they get up in your face, namEly the old crew and new freddy,is just to flip to the mask as soon as you duck out of the cam if you suspect/know that they are nearby. If you're a fraction of a second too slow you die[/sp] Which is kind of dumb. They don't even appear in vent lights and there's no other way to stop them besides stalling with the flashlight. Foxy is the only one you can reliably convince to fuck off by flashing the light

Yet again, TV Tropes has delivered something good. The WMG page for the game led me to its Characters page. I still find it odd how while original freddy is still "rare" he isn't actually a gamechanger like the original. When he shows up you don't have that "fuck oh fuck give me one more minute" thought, you just flip your mask on like any other. If anthing, balloon boy is basically freddy because he basically alerts the horde but doesnt specify when they'll come. Overall, BB, Foxy, and Marionet are the only real unique ones. The rest seem to be your standard pop up in light, flip on a mask and walk away animatronics (which albeit BB is but he doesnt instakill you if he's in the room)
