[sp]still doesnt explain everything obviously, like the puppet and why the robots are still killers before the 5th and 6th night.[/sp]
[sp]We know with each passing day, the animatrons become more aggressive, until day 6 where they are at their worst. Most likely all five kids have been killed and the animatrons now consider all adults as a major threat, which probably lead to the Bite of 87. I can't really count day 7 as it is the custom day. Perhaps a child was killed every day until the 6th, when the murderer was caught? Each death pushing the animatronics to the limit?[/sp]

I was hoping that this game would have the new robots and old robots kill each other as the nights would go on as an act of revenge for being replaced. Like every night the old robot would take over the New Bonnie or whatever. But I cant play this, so much shit is going on for me.
Made it to night 4 without dying back to night 1
You know how in the first game there is talk of 5 kids being killed and we assumed the 5th one was golden freddy. But since FNAF 2 I think the 5th kid is the marionette. That or the marionette is possessed by a evil spirit seeing as how most dolls are easy bodies for souls and evil spirits.

So heres my idea on "the day shift" guy in FNAF2 Previous employees? A position became available? Someone used the yellow suit? For me, this adds up to being that the day shift guy in fnaf2 is golden freddy and is the killer of the 4 kids, and when the robots get weird around adults during the day. Then the bite of 87 happens, Jeremy is the one who lost his frontal lobe, Fritz is fired from his first day, the restaurant closes down and re-opens, and phone guy does the night shift till mike does in fnaf1. still doesnt explain everything obviously, like the puppet and why the robots are still killers before the 5th and 6th night.
I'm probably late (I'm on page 246 and the latest page is 248) but I'm running out of clipboard room for my theory. I think I have it. SPOILERS, this whole thread is a spoiler by now The first restaurant was Fazbear's Family Diner or whatever, which is possibly FNAF#3. This housed the original 4 animatronics, seen in their decrepit state in FNAF#1. The purple man came along and did some messed up stuff, seen in the Atari-2600-esque minigames. This lead to a peak when he killed the boy locked outside the diner, when Freddy was giving cake to the kids, seen in one of the minigames. This boy's spirit started to haunt the Marionette, which the Marionette itself came into play sometime probably during the Diner's existence, since PG mentions that he "never liked that puppet thing" while also referring to Foxy in a past tense. Following the messed up stuff from the purple man incident(s), including the purple man being seen as a guard in one of the minigames, the Diner closed and re-opened as the pizzeria seen in FNAF#2. Along with the "new" animatronics being fitted with facial-recognition technology, so were the old animatronics. The Marionette (infused with the boy's spirit) remembers the day he was killed by the purple man (who seemed to be a night guard), and corrupted the facial-recognition technology so that the old animatronics and new from the diner would be aggressive towards adults, particularly night guards. He may have done this by bypassing the coding for adult faces and replacing it with a universal code that sees all adults (particularly after hours) as an endoskeleton, tricking the animatronics. The Marionette wanted to save other kids from his fate. Soon after the Marionette's involvement right before/during FNAF#2, the pizzeria underwent new investigations, probably from the reports of aggression from the animatronics. The Marionette took notice and started thinking, as PG says. The Marionette probably knew that he might be eliminated from the animatronics line up, if the pizzeria were to have another installment. So, somewhere during FNAF#2, the Bite of '87 happens and so does the killing/missing reports of the 5 kids. The Marionette, remembering the cruelty of adults/guards, probably onset at least the 5 kids incident by possession of some sort. He was just a kid when he died, so his childish mind stereotypes tall, guard-like beings as dangerous. The Marionette made someone use the Golden Freddy suit to kill the kids. It was possibly another guard. Then, he "gave gifts/life" to the old animatronics by giving them the vengeful, stereotyping spirit of the 5 kids, carrying on his wishes to protect kids even after his destruction. A sacrifice for a greater cause, saving more lives in return. After the FNAF#2 investigations ultimately shut down the pizzeria, the Marionette is taken out of the pizzeria chain and destroyed (probably). FNAF#1's pizzeria opens up, and the 5 reborn animatronics remember the day that a tall being, a guard-like figure, killed them and the Marionette's original self. Edit: The cutscenes could be a number of things. It could be symbolic/another point of time around where the Marionette gave the animatronics the kids' spirits, it could be the (haunted) Marionette introducing himself during the family diner period, or it could be a final goodbye to the animatronics before the marionette was destroyed, right before the opening of the pizzeria of FNAF#1. Maybe he was leaving Freddy in charge. Edit 2: In heavier speculation, the person that killed the kids in the Golden Freddy suit might have been Michael, the Purple Man, or Fritz Smith. All could make sense, as Michael hallucinates/sees/maybe remembers the Golden Freddy suit, and could have been the bite of '87 victim as the animatronics would have been angry at him and they would also be ignorant to the Marionette's plans, and Michael would have forgotten his act. The Purple Man also could have been the killer, as the Marionette could have used him for torture and vengeance. Lastly, it might have been Fritz Smith, possibly hired during days 4, 5, or 6. He might have been quickly possessed, killed the kids on night 6, then stuck to the night shift on 7, likely unpossessed but feeling a strange connection to the animatronics, and being able to "tamper" with them.
Does anyone else hear a very slight tinge of Breaking Bad in the title screen music?
Does anyone else hear a very slight tinge of Breaking Bad in the title screen music?
Not really. the BrBa OST was inspired by likely the same sources (early 90s-early 00's dark ambient music) as the title track.

Are these videos worth sharing? I have them unlisted, unless you people say they are indeed worth anything, or I'll just leave them be if you say they're trash. http://youtu.be/WnKu0yy8tZI http://youtu.be/xcjYd0QcQeA http://youtu.be/ghDXnm-tzc0

i feel like i'm asking "what's 1+2?" among the 248 pages of deep Freddy's Pizza lore, but why are the new bots called toys?
They have a more toy-ish look; they all have a hard, glossy material instead of cloth, probably to look kid-friendly.

Finally beat night 3. Fuck you bonnie.
I feel that, even though FNAF2 is a fantastic game in its current state, it really would've benefited from Scott keeping the initial 2015 release date. There are sizable portions of the game (namely the death animations and game over screen) that feel, for lack of a better term, unfinished. I also would've liked to have seen more death minigames, but the existing ones are suitably chilling and esoteric in their own ways.
I'm wondering about one thingy... What if Fazbear Pizzeria used outdated paychecks perhaps :v: Phone Guy said at first night 'hello and welcome to your new summer job...' And paycheck is dated 11-12-XX

I'm sure scott wouldn't really mind a big game that much but most likely the larger it gets the longer it takes for Fusion to pack it into an EXE. I hope he considers improving them in the future.
Also, ring any bells? [t]http://i.imgur.com/U5KiL1l.png[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/BIAmdy7.png[/t]
You bring up quite a good point. Where did this thing go. In fnaf1 if there are refrences to it in the game. I hope there is a lot more to discover in fnaf2
They have a more toy-ish look; they all have a hard, glossy material instead of cloth, probably to look kid-friendly.
ah, ok. i was just skeptical the explanation would be that simple after seeing CSI type investigations going on in here.
It's heavily implied the marionette [sp]breathed life into the other animatronics and is responsible for everything fucking up[/sp]
In-character let's plays should be a thing
I've seen people try that a few times and it just comes off as awkward and weird, especially when a character doesn't have dialogue. Resupurae did a video about a guy who did an "in-character" let's play of Pokémon which turned into a giant mockery and "oh my god are you serious" kind of video. The only instance where "in-character" has worked has been Freeman's Mind, if that counts.
