I think Old Chica misses a lot of potential, i mean Scott gives her these enourmous jaws, and during the entire game she doesn't even open them once. no creepy gaping mouth to the camera, no biting your face of, all we get is an akward "Hug me" pose.. Don't get me wrong she's stil pretty terrifying, but she could've been so much more
She only opens them for Pizza. The later diner years do start drying up on that department though.

All of her joints look pretty locked up (which is probably a reference to Phone Guy's whole thing about their servos locking up in the first game), and her mask seems to be falling apart entirely. The endoskeleton eyes are sunken down to the very bottom of the holes in the mask rather than sitting in the middle, and the jaw looks like it's only hanging on by a few wires.

Do we know anything about Shadow Freddy yet? Is he just golden freddy in the backroom with weird lighting? Does he appear anywhere else?
Do we know anything about Shadow Freddy yet? Is he just golden freddy in the backroom with weird lighting? Does he appear anywhere else?
On the same note, was the Shadow in the security room another Freddy or Bonnie?
On the same note, was the Shadow in the security room another Freddy or Bonnie?
Probably Bonnie. It had Bonnie's ears on the top of the head.
Hahaha you rated the fan as creepier than BB? What did the fan ever do to you?
Talking into the fan makes you sound like an evil robot. Talking into BB makes you look stupid.
Alright someone here on Facepunch uploaded my Bonnierender to KnowYourMeme, i don't know who you are but if you are reading this, please don't do that. I really don't need a horde of angry gmodders in my comment section.

Has anyone here attempted 10/20-Golden Freddy mode?

Just something I've been thinking about, and I must share it in this thread. Those atari minigames give me the feeling that they are (symbolically) how animatronic brains see the world around them. The animatronics witnessed the murders of children, although their simple programming wasn't in any way designed to handle that, the fact left a strong imprint in their minds. Them being busy with tasks (give cake, entertain children) couldn't make them prevent the murders (nor they had any capacity to do so at the time), but left a strong memory they didn't have capacity to understand. But the traumatic event, combined with something mysterious, has given birth to very minor 'self-awareness' in the mind of animatronics. Somehow the imprint of murders happening in the restaurant created the idea in animatronic heads, and an external push allowed them to posses enough self awareness to act on the idea of protecting children or avenging their muders. Though their minds are still too simplistic to distinguish such concepts as "different people wearing same uniform". They seem like kind of good guys to me, though they are simply not clever enough to do anything other than violence. What you can do in minigames and what you can reason about from those minigames is probably just about the extent to which their reason and selfawareness extends.
Has anyone here attempted 10/20-Golden Freddy mode?
Someone has beaten it. I, on the other hand, have had no luck.
-text.wall-
I like the theory, but from my end the phone guy doesn't really sound too old, he could easily be a post pubescent teenager on a summer job (which he kind of suggests Jeremy is too) in the first one, and if he's devoted enough to these characters that he tries to justify them being possible mass murderers I could see him being devoted enough to keep track of the place's reopening and come back to it as soon as he can. Also, this is really grasping at straws here, but Smith and Schmidt are the same name just in different languages (strangely Smith is the English form and Schmidt is German, but Mike is an English name while Fritz is a German one). Probably means nothing, but I couldn't help but find that odd.
Someone has beaten it. I, on the other hand, have had no luck.
Wow that was really fast, i remember that it took its time for people to beat 4/20 mode on fnaf#1 (for some reason i didnt even feel the hype as when bigbuzz beated it :v: ) but damn, congratz to that guy. This may be a dumb question but anyway: scott made the game all by himself, so, what about BB voice? one of his kids helped him with that, or he just got the sounds from somewhere like he did with the music?
Someone has beaten it. I, on the other hand, have had no luck.
To be honest? As insane as that is, especially considering it hasn't even been a week since the game was released, it somehow looks...easier than 4/20 in FNaF. I'm not even sure why. Maybe it has to do with not having to worry about the power (because it's infinite) and the flashlight only being halfway empty?
So after seeing Weaver's artwork posted here so much I decided to go read RubyQuest. I fully agree with this Anonymous comment about it
"SHIT JUST GOT TRIPLE LOVECRAFTIAN"

So after seeing Weaver's artwork posted here so much I decided to go read RubyQuest. Now I fully understand why Weaver likes Five Night's At Freddy's.
I could've sworn I heard something about Weaver actually not liking FNaF (but as to why he still does comics for it with that in mind, I'm not sure).

I haven't played either but I'm still here every fucking day
Still like the idea of Golden Freddy being a Poltergeist, given the whole empty suit and floating head bit. And yeah, I like the lore of the game far more than the actual gameplay. It's a lot of micro-management and twitch reflexes while being pretty unforgiving.
My girlfriend is the one who beats the games (has done 1, will be doing 2 very soon), I just keep us up on the lore :v:
as someone hoping to go into the games industry starting with something small scale, basically everything scott is doing/has done with the two games interests me like hell
Was Golden Freddy's being in the first game ever explained?
So I did looking on behindthename.com and I found out that Mike means "who is like god?" and Schmidt means "smith", Jeremy means "Yahweh has uplifted", and Fritz means "peaceful ruler". Make what of these as you will, I'm not the best at the whole theory thing.

Fitzgerald is a bit more disappointing in origin, it means "son of Gerald".

Has anyone noticed the garbled noise from phone guy in night 2 right after he says "and the freddy head trick should work on them too" and then he suddenly goes "I love foxy. Did you ever see Foxy the Pirate?!" right after? It kinda seems like he, I dunno, "regressed" a bit then. I'm not entirely certain Phone Guy is all mentally "there", tbh.
