If I had a tumblr, I'd follow dat.
I just realized that the bite of 87 is never specifically referred to as a year. It's also brushed off as a minor moment, being mentioned once and never again.

The problem with the lore in this game that we have so far is that a lot of it is based around implying without proof.
We don't have any proof of the animatronics specifically being from the Fredbear Diner from the game itself. All we know about it is that it closed down. Nothing is mentioned about how the owners being contacted about issues with the animatronics.

I'm going to disagree here. When you say things like "summer of '87" or "the blizzard of '87" you'd naturally be inclined to think they were years. I think Scott meant for that to be the case.
As for the passing notice and brush-off I'm assuming it was either Phone Guy trying to clue the player in (while downplaying the dangers or trying to stay under the radar of the management), Scott being darkly humorous, or a combination thereof.

The title text or the HUD/X AM text? If the title text, first one looks like some flavor of Lucida or some other MS Office bundled-in font. Second one looks like OCR A Extended. For the HUD, it almost looks like Highway Dots or some variant of BPDots except for the "g" looking different (and Highway Dots not having lowercase forms). For the 5/6 AM in the second game, not sure. Some sort of LED font but the one that immediately springs to mind is both slightly italic and doesn't have components that wide.

maybe, but I just assume that in FNAF 1 if FNAF2 is a prequel, the animatronics already know of that trick :V

Considering Jerald seems to have problems breathing in the mask alone (unless that's just him panicking), and the whole 'Foxy and Marionette don't give a fuck' part, I imagine it'd probably just weigh you down so much that you'd be left a sitting duck unable to even use the flashlights to defend yourself properly from Foxy, much less keeping the music box winded.

seeing two freddy walking around, or in this case one freddy in the office while another is on stage with em would confuse em. Just like that comic Toy bonnie was confused, as it only knows of 3 freddys so its wondering "who is this 4th freddy?" Eventually just like in the comic it realized "thats no freddy".
In other words "yes the animatronics will get confused due to seeing someone in a full freddy suit...but eventually they will figure out you arent freddy"

as my friend then said it "what the fuck the animatronics gonna do to you?, take you out of that suit then force you into another one?" which I then counter "well I'm pretty sure they know how to disassemble a suit if they can shove you into another one"

They stuff you into a suit because they think you're a naked endoskeleton. I don't think they'd have any issue with the whole suit if they see just the mask and move away. Hell, even the freddys themselves are fooled by the mask, and it's their face.
