Mike returns home to find Freddy n co have crashed the place and are the worst roommates ever, whacky hijinks ensure when Mike has to deal with Chica stealing all the food, Foxy hitting the clubs, Freddy murdering people and Bonnie going into full stalker mode.
So, after careful research and calculations, I've deduced an integral part of the storyline through ultra-reasoning.

Thus begins the true story of how shit went down.
Dorner, knowing the trickery going on around him, played his earlier part of head security guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria and found himself assimilating into the culture of the place. It soon became obvious that Obama's pawns were the animatronics themselves. After several weeks of intense survival, he found out that he finally being moved to the day shift after all that bullshit.
He would only need to do one more week.
Knowing that Obama's robots were going to go into super-intense overmode, Dorner prepared himself by tempering his inner flame and establishing that the soul did in fact exist within human beings. He conquered three nights of insufferable scraping sounds and shitty primetime television. Then, on the fourth night, it happened.
All of the animatronics converged in an all-out attack. They busted through the doors, not knowing what Dorner had planned. Obama was sneering as he watched it play it, but then his coy little smile faded once he saw Dorner in his HEV Suit. With a warcry that shook the foundations of the pizza ovens, Dorner launched Great Lightning Spear after Great Lightning Spear, and soon the animatronics were no more.
Thus ended the age of the animatronic pizzeria and ushered in the age of the high-tech internet cafes with Bawls drinks. The Furtive Dorner was soon forgotten and eventually the animatronics were just put back together because no one really gave a shit. Some say he still roams the kitchen of the pizzeria, looking for the right ingredients for chicken alfredo, but that's a legend for another time.[/QUOTE]

It's most definitely going to be another prequel. I don't see why he would namedrop the name of the original diner if he wasn't planning on visiting it. Plus, as you said, there's not a lot to go off from FN@F 1.
I dunno why you'd be against seeing that, though. Seeing the original four animatronics is they're most raw, unsafe, murderous form even before they got taken apart is probably going to be terrifying.
So me and my sister went and tried making the animatronics (human versions) as Miis in Tomodachi Life, and I've finally gotten around to polishing most of them! (Only the original gang so far)

I honestly never played FNAF or FNAF2, but reading about FNAF was really entertaining and I want to know whats next.

Toy Freddy needs to have darker skin, and if there's a way to make Golden Freddy from 5N@F2 look more disheveled (maybe giving him more wrinkles to make him look older?), then it would be perfect.

I feel like the meat of the FN@F lore is the murders and hauntings. FN@F2 takes place during the murders, so going further back seems unnecessary.

Honestly scott should of gone with an episodic like thing, then he wouldnt get nearly as much backlash from realsing it 3 months after the first game.
He probably still could, perhaps. Hell, 5N@F3 could be something like "The Fazbear Files", where the old cases on the incidents at Freddy Fazbear's are re-opened and reviewed by a detective.
It probably wouldn't happen, but it gave me the idea for the Pizzeria Security sequences being framed by an investigation-style point-and-click game, where the investigator is tracking down the previous guards, looking through the old security tapes, in an effort to solve recent murders connected to the Fazbear diners and the old abandoned Freddyland part.
If anyone's interested, some people on /vg/ started an irc channel on Rizon, #FNAF. It's quite dead at the moment but was active last night so I'm assuming it will be again.
