Five Nights at Freddy's. The indie horror game where animatronics from a pizzaria try to murder you
I really hope that fnaf 3 just ends the story, I'm sure no one wants to see a fnaf 4 or 5
I'm a little bit hype about FNAF 3 to be honest.
This just in, FNAF 3 confirmed as a videogame-movie tie-in with Night At The Museum 3, starring the entire cast of 60 as animatronic enemies and Ben Stiller playing himself as the security guard.
now that i think about it, this game is literally just night at the museum with evil characters, i'm trying to imagine how the film would've went down if rather than lovable family-friendly happy wax characters it was instead a horror and ben stiller has to survive the night against a whole army of things way worse than animatronics
The entire game is made of rendered still pictures, its not like it would take THAT long
Though he should just add onto 2 if this is what we are thinking it is
If FNAF3 is ever a thing it should be on a new engine, so the death screens can be animated again
If 3 really is happening, I want it to be in a real time engine.
He already pushed MMF2 to it's limits.

While it's highly unlikely, i too seriously hope he would try a full 3d game this time. He could do so much more with the animatronics and their behaviour.
I understand that he's got used to the engine and can use it very well, but I don't think he can go on forever with all the limitations. 3D would make FNAF 3 look ten times better, with fully animated jumpscares and no more Toy Bonnies just sliding across the screen.
Hasn't he said that he has little to no programming knowledge? If that's the case I don't see him making anything much more complex than the current Freddy's games.
Why not hire a few people at this point? He could do a lot more with a team, and i'm pretty sure he could find investors based on the succes of the previous two
He has said in an interview that he tried Unity and liked it, but didn't use it because "it would take years to catch up to my current skill level in Fusion".
He could make a 3D game if he would just use more time instead of rapidly spewing out sequels. He can make good models, textures and animations already so the only missing part would be the engine.
A third game that uses real life photography/video with the help of scenographers.
I can't wait to see what the Diner looks like, assuming that's where FN@F3 takes place.

he's seriously only being held back by the engine he uses at this point, it seems.
I guess it was really already confirmed with all the prequel stuff, it's just that he's stating it's official.
I'm just hoping that he's taking his time with this one and actually polishing it.
If he learnt how to use Unity as well as he uses Fusion, and he then began to learn how to make music, he could be the jack of all trades - every indie dev's dream.
I know UE4 blueprint programming well enough that I could probably recreate most of FN@F1 in a few days tell him to hire me
Is Clickteam entirely drag and drop?

You can do your own coding, but primarily it is drag and drop.
So have the FN@F games made Scott Cawthon a millionaire by now?

Probably.

This is only from the first game's mobile sales:
[t]http://puu.sh/djXdm/a31c0725c9.png[/t]
That's $140,000 a week.
Google and Apple take 70%, so he only gets $42,000, but that's still a bunch left over.
That would be $2,000,000 in one year from mobile alone.
This isn't including FNAF 2, or steam sales.
Scott's makin' a fuckton of money. Keep in mind this isn't 100% accurate, but it's still a lot.
Scotts just needs to have some patience and not let himself get carried by internet and demand.
This is what happened to the second.

Bit misleading to say that's 2,000,000 a year when the game's barely been out for half of it. Still, that's a huge amount of money and I'm glad he's so successful. Here's hoping he makes enough to keep making the next game even better.

The second was great, but definitely missed a lot that the first game did. I think if he would've taken even a month or two longer with it Scott could have made it a better game.
It's sad because I know a lot of fans would have been patient with the sequel taking a longer time.
Tbh fnaf2 is still a really good game despite the fact that he cranked it out. There were some unpolished bits yeah but overall it was still good. The flashlight running out of power doesn't have the same feeling of dread that running out of power in the building does, even though at that point you know you're as similarly fucked as in the first game...its just a matter of time.
The engine can remain the same as long as he does something creative with it again. I want the same creepy, isolated feeling from the first game to return.
I feel that the biggest problem with Fnaf 2 is in the later nights of the game you use the camera's less and less and it becomes more of a total crapshoot whether you're able to juggle turning the music box and Flashing Foxy with the light while checking the vents efficiently enough to survive.
The nights needed to be longer and slower, drawing out the build up.

That's why I hope Scott will consider having some beta testers besides himself for the third game. I trust his decisions and ideas, but it wouldn't hurt to have a few other people's input before the game comes out. I think a lot of the second game issues could've been resolved this way.
Guys the 3 in the image is gone. I just checked myself after I saw it on 4chan.

I wonder what Scott's trying to pull here..

Whoa that would be quite a robbery - as far as I know they take 30% and Scott receives the 70%, $98,000.
