• Five Nights at Freddy's. The indie horror game where animatronics from a pizzaria try to murder you

The only animatronic with sharp teeth/fangs like that is Foxy. The blood on the teeth could be symbolizing the bite of '87 in some way, since most people agree that Foxy bit the kid. Other than the teeth, I don't see any resemblance. The color seems to suggest the exoskeleton belongs to Golden Freddy, but it surely doesn't look the same. Maybe Scott is going for an even scarier, demented image and atmosphere this time. I'd like to think that the exoskeleton belongs to Foxy. If PG did get stuffed in a suit, it would at least be nice (in a twisted sense) that he was stuffed into a Foxy suit, as PG has shown affection for him before. However, a few problems: Foxy in #1/#2 has always been somewhat falling apart. Also, someone mentioned that over the course of 20 years, the inside body would have decayed by then. That applies to the exoskeleton belonging to Golden Freddy too, as it was both "falling apart" and the body would have fallen apart to decompose as well... --- Maybe PG is still alive. 20 years later. He is still there.
"Hey, I don't think I'm going to be able to give you a call tomorrow." *BANG BANG* "Uh... If you get a chance, could you just check in the back room for me?" *BANG BANG* "I've always wondered what was in those empty heads..." *BANG BANG* "Oh no..." *SCRREEEEEEEEEEECH*
I really hope Scott goes all out on the design of this Freddy. If it's 20 years later, he's GOTTA look pretty rough, even possibly creepier than ever before. Also, had a thought last night. If Freddy is the last anamatronic (presumably) 20 years after the first or second, who's to say FNaF 3 is going to involve a security guard working at the pizza place? My theory is that the protagonist is going to be an urbex explorer who wanted to learn more about the rumors of the anamatronics of the Fazbear Pizzeria, but the place was abandoned for years with no trace of the management. As the explorer, you actually get to walk around the place with a flashlight, possibly seeing the remains of the Fazbear crew while looking for information regarding the purple man and whatever else happened. However, You also have to avoid the decaying, withered Freddy, only surviving by utilizing pieces from every other anamatronic previously fallen, resulting in a monster of multiple furs, limbs, and hatred. The explorer can't learn everything in one night due to the possibility of being caught by either someone else or Fred, so he comes back over the course of five nights. But that's my dumb idea.
I'm pretty excited for the third installment; it's almost like an episodic release schedule and they're priced accordingly. Not only that, the Five Nights at Freddy's thread is always active thanks to the quick development times and teasers. That said; I do hope that the third installment is the last one, at least for awhile. It'd be nice to see Scott tackle something new. Desolate Hope seems like a really interesting game and that Scott has talent beyond Freddy.
We can't really tell yet, but I'd be glad if this "black eyes, white dots" thing would disappear. It was really weird, especially on toy Chica... Things are much scarier when they are realistic, and so is the new model. edit: I noticed that around 200 pages, we started having teasers of FNAF 2. And now, we are around 300 and we get teasers of FNAF 3... I am sure Scott has an account on Facepunch :v:

Goddamnit. I still don't see how Scott could pull "Oh hey we need a night guard for this old pizza place and deal with some robots that may kill you" for the third time.
what if it's another prequel '20 years later' after the diner
Goddamnit. I still don't see how Scott could pull "Oh hey we need a night guard for this old pizza place and deal with some robots that may kill you" for the third time.
I thought that was the joke, you'd have to be insane to take up the job - especially after all of the rumours and missing children surrounding the restaurant
Since Scott obviously has so much attention with such a big audience it'd be awesome for him to make a completely new horror series or just any game in general. Can you imagine what the guy could do with a few hired people too? Man.
I never said it was in the teaser. It was the start of a new sentence.
Sorry. See kids, this is why you don't post when you're tired.
I hope the cameras actually have some use in the new game (if there is any). Hopefully Scott will take his time with this one.

The one thing I'm gonna be wary of is if this is a prequel or sequel- you'd think that "I'm still here" is a reference to Golden Freddy still being around, but what if it's the original child? It could easily be the original diner, now with the freddy being haunted by the ghost child. Of course, it's most likely a sequel taking 30 years after, but seeing 30 years before? Could be interesting.
"Modern" animatronics didn't exist in the 1960's, though. Assuming it's a prequel to fnaf 2, which is also assumed to take place in 1987.
Modern animatronics didn't exist in the 1960's, though. Assuming it's a prequel to fnaf 2, which is also assumed to take place in 1987.
animatronics that walk around didn't exist in 1987 or 19XX either.
We have an estabilished setting from 1st, its history from 2nd, and now potentially its future end from the 3rd. And its conclusion from the custom nights. Wild guess is that the Fazbear corporation realizes how fucking creepy the animatronics are, so they somehow get them sent to an amusement park as an attraction for the local horror house. Your wage is still shitty, but doubled from the 1st for consistency: 100-ish originally, 200 next, maybe 300-500 by third?
I don't really care about what Scott does with the third game as long as he abides by three important points: 1. No gimmicks that defeat the purpose of using the cameras, like the music box. 2. Slow down and don't rush the final product. The more time he takes, the better. 3. Some real answers and no more loose ends. I want the third game to be rich with plot, explanations, and for every last question we have to be answered straightforward. No more mysteries, no more guessing, and no more cockamamie theories that have no support except for people grasping at straws.
Bottom right looks like gums and teeth cap'n, with decaying metal and foam and flesh.
It has only been what, 2 months since the 2nd? Not even Street Fighter 4 milks that quickly, I'm starting to lose interest in this series.

Im not sure where the original suited killing fits in the timeline but that would make sense. It would also be fucking creepy if the Diner threat was someone in a suit.
Found this on reddit. Not sure if late or not. [T]http://i.cubeupload.com/EUivtU.png[/T]
I kinda like to think that FNaF takes place in a slightly more advanced universe than our own. It would explain face recognition software, walking animatronics, and the use of some sort of tablet device for the cameras. I kinda hope Scott takes advantage of this theory.

Well they did talk about cost-cutting. [/sp]
animatronics that walk around didn't exist in 1987 or 19XX either.
Maybe the world in the game has more advanced technology for robotics than ours? Some "robotics race" might have occurred between the US and USSR or something. Like, sometime during the late fifties or early sixties, they were like "hey, let's do robots with this space shit" and began to work on robotics. The first walking robot would be made in the early seventies, with the concept eventually moving in to a children's pizza place.
I'm kind of expecting the animatronics in 3 to be redesigned similarly to the 2012 rendition of Chuck E Cheese. Not digging how Golden Freddy looks like a man eating alligator from that teaser though at the moment.
