I really like how the developer chose the frontal lobe for that incident. It could have just been a basic "Oh, the mascots bit off a kid's face once", but instead the mascot specifically bites off a part of brain. It's so weirdly specific and also makes you start to wonder how the fuck it happened and what happened to the kid afterwards, considering (to simplify it a bit) the frontal lobe is apparently where most of your actual thinking happens.
I'm also a big fan of this line: [i]"Uh... the only parts of you that would likely see the light of day again would be your eyeballs and teeth that would pop out the front of the mask."[/i] It's just so bizarrely written, sounds like something out of a bad dream.
The cynic in me can't help but think that maybe "Yellow Freddy" is just an older model of Freddy and the scenes he appears in were just never re-shot with the new model.
You'd think that maybe the mascots would be decommissioned after that "Frontal Lobe Incident" or maybe the buisness shut down completely.
Its perfectly possible that the bite of 87 was the killing blow for the business, assuming the murders had happened before that.

Nope it was Freddy who killed him, you can hear his music playing over the phone as the guy gets scared then dies. Also been reading a lot of thread, I think a lot of people are getting way to into some stuff regarding the story. Its a lot of fun figuring this stuff out and nothing wrong with coming up with crazy theorys, but remember it is just a small indie game made by 1 person. Ive seen a lot of people all over the place thinking theres some great big ARG mystery shit going on or a big climax thats gonna answer all this stuff but I would say dont hold your breath, I think a lot is meant to be up to your imagination and I dont think it needs some big payoff. I dont wanna tell you how to enjoy the story or game so do whatever you want, but if you are someone whos really into this story and mystery I think it would be good to take a step back if you find yourself getting really deep and crazy.
If you really wanna try and figure stuff out, keep doing nights 1-5 looking for clues regarding the story and changes in the camera and I think there is something after Night 7 and a Third Star. So anyone who has night 7 could start looking for clues onto how to get that Third Star. Beating night 5 gives 1, beating night 6 gives 1, so im assuming doing something with Night 7 gives the third and unlocks something.
Remember the posters change and people have been sure they got them when all of a sudden someone finds a new one. The kitchen could also be something to look a lot, it could just be disabled for the gameplay purpose it serves but maybe it does get turned on or new sounds from it.(confirmed sounds are the chick fucking with pots and pans and freddy singing his song)
can we get a mod in here to tag/ban that?

So, has anyone made progress on figuring out how to mod the game, or at least on replacing the audio files? I have perfect song to replace Freddy's little xylophone jingle when he gets you with the power off. It even has the words "ARE YOU READY" sung loudly.

This game propably would work pretty well on the OR considering you're pretty much stationary and when you bring up the camera view it kinda pops up as if you're putting on some wierd-ass camera goggles in the game.

It's pre rendered so it wouldn't be in 3D. The game would need a remake which would probably ruin it.

Hopefully someone finds out how to unpack and repack the .exe soon, so we can mess with the game.
