• Five Nights at Freddy's. The indie horror game where animatronics from a pizzaria try to murder you

At the risk of sounding like a huge tool, Bigbugz is going ham on his stream.
The wiki's mistaken. It's a common conception that Golden Freddy is on Night 3, but in reality he can show up any night, even 1 - most people just seem to encounter him on 3.
There's a wiki? Where?
This game really helps with my constipation problems
I might be a little late. But, could it be possible that some big event occurred at the restaurant a lot of time ago before the paranormal events happened (the bite, animatronics wandering, etc.)? Maybe at some point during Freddy's history, a group of burglars (four burglars to be precise) decided to hit the restaurant at night. They knew that there were security cameras in the place, so they got an idea: disguise themselves as the animatronics of the pizza place. That way, if they ever got spotted by the security cameras, they could just pass unnoticed. Something eventually went wrong, considering the reputation of the place for being (limited in funding), they could have gotten caught by security and (possibly) killed. The deaths of these four thieves would give the restaurant bad reputation, so they decided to cover up the incident by leaving their bodies inside the disguise-costumes and throw them somewhere behind the stage (with the rest of the animatronics' parts). Their souls somehow, got stuck in this world. After the incident, the weird stuff started happening (the animatronics started wandering, people disappeared, the bite, etc). Every night, the souls of the thieves try to get their revenge over the security guard that killed them. That could explain why they know about where the cameras are and why they tend to stop when they are being watched (they try to pass unnoticed, as they did before they got caught and killed). As the time went, multiple security guards got killed by the possessed animatronics. Obviously, the restaurant didn't want to admit the danger of the animatronics at night, so they decided to attach some kind of 'panic door' system at the security room. (as a way for future security guards to protect themselves in case of another attack). This system plus the focus on the franchise to save electricy and money, makes up the whole mechanic behind the game. (A limited supply of energy, with nothing to defend yourself but these panic doors and the light that illuminates the blind spot outside your room). That could explain why they smell like blood, and why they try to stuff each security guard into a costume (to have the same fate as them), the whole exosqueleton thing could be just a way to cover it up. Other theory could be that they were looking for some cheap entertainment, so they found the animatronics in some scrapyard without knowing their "malfunction" of being turned into Free Roam at night. I haven't played the game myself though, but I have watched a lot of people playing it. I got to say that this is one of the most original ideas for an horror game. The ambiance is done right, being alone in a all-dark building with nothing but the illumination of your own little room (which loses energy over time) and being constantly lurked by living machines. Jumpscares are used right too, I like the idea of them being limited mostly to game over (which encourages you to do better and avoid losing at any cost) instead of being a constant and repetitive feature through the game.
its fairly obvious he memory edited the ai. thats all there is to it.
Would that still give you the same ending as a 20/20/20/20 run? I mean I'm illiterate but if the game thinks you edited the AI to 0 would it still give the (hypothetical, possibly not existing) ending?

That sounds more like a shitty Creepypasta than a legitimate theory.
...Theories and stuff...
Why are so many people concerned about the lore of this game? I mean, its a pretty short game that seems only designed to be scary with a minimal backstory. Does there necessarily have to be an explanation for everything?
So have we figured out if we can do sound mods yet?
please no ghost theories, it kills me inside to think of such a unoriginal explaination.
So have we figured out if we can do sound mods yet?
Nobody has asked the Developer funnily enough.
Why are so many people concerned about the lore of this game? I mean, its a pretty short game that seems only designed to be scary with a minimal backstory. Does there necessarily have to be an explanation for everything?
Because it's fun.
Nobody has asked the Developer funnily enough.
They might as well, it seems like there's a bit of communication between him and the community.
Welp, its starting to storm pretty bad where I live, and all I'm doing is playing this game...I'm ready for Freddy.
Welp, its starting to storm pretty bad where I live, and all I'm doing is playing this game...I'm ready for Freddy.
You'll never be ready for Freddy, but Freddy is ready for you.
So there is a bit of inconsistency with the endoskeleton teeth in this game, intended or not I have no idea. To start off we have the Greenlight Icon which shows Freddy's endo. Instead of the square white teeth that Chica has he has those weird gray sharpened metal teeth. The head/eye model for the endoskeleton is the exact same as the one in the trailer and in the animatronic room in-game. As you can see he has 2 white square middle teeth and 2 fangs right before the trailer cuts out. Then even weirder are these pictures I saw a streamer edit into his video alongside the day 5 phone call audio clip because he wanted viewers to hear it since the call didn't play in game. These are 2 images in particular that he edited in. I think that the power has been shut off but there is the light behind him that throws me off. And Freddy in-game has blue eyes, but these look brownish. Can anyone clarify that I'm full of shit or is there something we haven't seen yet? Oh and as for the random triggers I think I figured out what makes it tick. It seems to be a percent chance of happening every time you open your camera feed. For instance I've gone in to the room with the animatronic heads (Where they all turn and face you occasionally) and left the camera in that room when I closed out. I spammed going in and out of the camera. After like 5-10 tries sure enough they were staring at me and when I went out and in again they were back to normal. I repeated this with Freddy on-stage and the Freddy poster with the same results (I haven't seen golden freddy like this, only the poster of freddy where he looks all fucked up.) Just everything I have to offer, sorry if its late.

Also, Chica has a second set of (white) teeth, look at her kill scenes.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/7Yydz2a.png?1[/t] Now with online multiplayer and voice chat for screaming at the animatronics with friends, and achievements and leaderboards to count the amount of times you shit your pants in real time.
Has anyone tried 1987 backwards? 7891? I don't think there is a secret ending though.
I wonder if freddy's is built around or on top of a military research lab or something. They just reused the prototype military robots that were left there. reprogrammed them and wrapped a suit around them. It'd explain why they have hyper advanced AI killing machines but can't afford electricity, and also explains why the security room has those high-tech electronic doors.
I always thought that the yellow freddy was the one that you will be stuffed in, hence why it's missing the eyes.
Can anyone clarify that I'm full of shit or is there something we haven't seen yet?
If you pause at the right time during the main menu, it shows what the skulls actually look like. Their jaws are square with square teeth instead of rounded, so that second bonnie image you posted shows the teeth in a neat row rather than fangs.
Why did it have to be a bear anyways? Teddy bears and what not may seem cute and cuddly, but they'll actually maul you in a heartbeat. Why not say, a lemming? Bears aren't very social animals either I believe. Clearly...

And I tried it with the rules poster, I just got the same other 3 news articles explaining the backstory.
BIGBUGZ MADE IT TO 5AM.
Holy shit bugz was so close.
Bigbugz big bucks

So it would make sense to have some iconic animal mascots that kids and players would identify with.

You see in the greenlight trailer that Bonnie's indoskeleton has two front square teeth and 2 fangs unless he has fangs on his top/bottoms as well. I'm assuming theyre fangs because theyre noticeably thinner than the middle 2 teeth.
