Metropolice, they're not as good as the combine soldier, but units can probably live through it easily. They have full body armor, weapons, trained, and has access to radio allowing others to come in and join the job
why the hell would any of these characters you guys are suggesting take a job that pays 4 dollars an hour when they could murder aliens or whatever and earn 120 dollars in like a minute new condition: they have to be able to survive, but also be poor enough to need 4 dollars an hour.
Ya know, I'm almost certainly reading too much into this, but images like this make it feel a lot more, I guess the term is real, because pictures like this are how the kids are supposed to see them, and how people who grew up with them would remember seeing them. It reminds you that while these things are terrifying to a teen/adult alone in the dark, there are kids who see animatronic animals as cute and fun. Like I said, probably reading too deeply into it (especially since we know these characters were created for a horror game), but it just makes me think of those things that are fun as kids, but depressing and/or disturbing once you've grown.
Having worked at a Chuck E. Cheese's I can first hand tell you that a fairly large sum of kids that go there are very much afraid of both the animatron version of Chuck and the actual version. That being said the machine version is loud. Like really loud. When we closed up (the radio we listened to while closing down was banned because long story short we couldn't hear if intruders broke in), sometimes the music that was synced to Chuck's movements would turn off since it runs off a DVD player and you could hear Chuck's parts groan as they moved across the store. It was especially apparent whenever they would move because it would make a "jerking" sound as the machine forcefully stopped the movement. Needless to say it could be unsettling on some nights because Chuck has his own built in audio system where he'll occasionally just randomly start talking (since it's sync'd with the DVD they stuck all of Chuck's part into the actual animatron). Got a few jumps out of me while working there, that's for sure. [editline]Edited: [/editline] I don't mean Chuck was moving across the store, I meant you could hear the different parts groan from across the store.
-new conditions-
Soldier from tf2, he'll pretty much take any job and is poor enough to probably work at freddy's, plus if anything goes wrong he has all his gear to protect him.

Doubt he could get away working at any place that actually cares about its employees or what governments say.
Ah here's a pretty decent example video of what it sounds like (except much louder since it's empty and there's not kids or music at all): Those "clicks" and "clacks" you here are the machine's parts from when they actually move.
He also built a fully-automatic rocket launcher out of some plumbing and tape.
On that, how would the Pyro react? Would the Pyro see them as horrific monsters given Pyro's basically inverted world view?
I thought they all got payed extremely well but Soldier just chooses to live like a hobo
Well as soldier stated, they took everything from him, including Merasmus's castle, not sure if that also refers to the money he got paid but still, he'll pretty much accept any job, especially if you say it'll help america. On the subject of TF2 characters surviving in freddy's, I know spy would probably ignore this job due to him being loaded, but I wonder what he would do in this situation. I mean he could disguise as one of the animatronics so they would ignore him or he could sap them. He'd basically be able to counter all of them, meaning spy would always be reddy for freddy.

To me my first thought when it comes to creepy animatronics is Disney's "It's a Small World" ride, I used to love that ride as a kid, went on it all the time, once I wasted half a disposable camera just taking pictures on the ride (parents never let me have the cameras again until we went digital because of that), but now I can't stand it, the song annoys me and the dolls frankly make me sick to look at, their motions and molding are unnatural, some of them are broken, you can see the wires and it's not hard to hear the mechanisms on the ones that do have some real movement (most of this also applies with the "Country Bear Jamboree" show but that one I don't have any childhood memories of). Also reminds me of a book I read where at one point the lead characters were on the It's a Small World ride after-hours and got swarmed by the dolls trying to kill them.

Which means they would try to stuff him with an endoskeleton or whatever anyway.
Sniper likes his job too much. Heavy would probably not even fit in the booth, but he'd have no problems. Medic wouldn't take the job. Engineer would see it as a challenge, and easily come up with several different fixes. Scout would either die or just run. Demoman would drink the night away while the building was covered in explosives.
why are u discussing what tf2 characters would do in this game thats potentially the least relevant thing ever
why are u discussing what tf2 characters would do in this game thats potentially the least relevant thing ever
Discussion on the game has stagnated due to nothing new being discovered.
why are u discussing what tf2 characters would do in this game thats potentially the least relevant thing ever
Well it's either that or we're just gonna end up discussing the merits of Foxy's schlang
I still want to see Foxy try to break the door, I haven't seen any footage of that, are people taking the piss?
I don't think Spy can turn into literal machines? Which means they would try to stuff him with an endoskeleton or whatever anyway.
He can look like them I'm pretty sure, its not like he turns in to something, its just a disguise. He can disguise well enough to not be noticed by the robots in MvM. So I'd say its not a problem.

Question. The guy on the phone leaves recordings and says it's 'legal stuff'. If we presume he did the night shift before us and listened to recordings from the guy before HIM, why don't we leave any recordings?
The guy on the phone probably gave a 2 weeks notice. We don't leave any recordings because we haven't.
I'll sound like a bloody woobie, but, judging only from some screenshots, I was able to overcome Outlast and its the Whistlebowler DLC, but I WON'T be able to overcome this
I'll sound like a bloody woobie, but, judging only from some screenshots, I was able to overcome Outlast and its the Whistlebowler DLC, but I WON'T be able to overcome this
The FMV aspect actually increases the spookiness of this game for me. In Amnesia and stuff, because the enemies are moving 3D NPCs, they could get stuck on stuff or you could figure out ways to bunny hop past them or something. But this is all video, so you just get to sit there while the enemies get closer.
So I'm sure this is a known problem but I can't find anything on google, mostly because its difficult to put into words and it doesn't come out in a screencap I'm getting this weird, red dotty graphic effect when I play. similar to what happens when you try to play older games like fallout or diablo on windows vista and up, except its just red. Has anyone experienced this and know how to fix it? It's pretty jarring.
