there was this huge discussion on /5n@Fg/ about how it would be really hard to pull off a costume like that and actually be recognizable as one of the animatrons and not just some furry with a shitty OC costume

Not to get all Furry in this thread, but there are vendors who sell tech meant for fursuits that let you control eyes, jaw, that sort of thing using triggers in the hands.

It'd be a great thing to add if someone wanted to build a costume.

Also terrifying as fuck. I would love to go to some con and see a Foxy lean around a corner suddenly.

tbh 5n@f is getting a big enough standing that it could be recognizable even if it's not a great costume

but a good craftsman could probably pull it off no problem. overemphasizing the joints and mechanical aspects would probably be the first step

I'm thinking about it, my only issue is how to fit it so that the servos work with natural human movements.

If I had money I would def make at least the Freddy head and wear that. Then if anyone bitches at me for half-assing it I could click a tooth or something and have it play the jingle while I look at them. But I'm also of the opinion that it would be very easily mistaken as a furry cosplay.

I guess you could do a security guard and have a name tag that said Mike Schmidt.

Foxy's eyepatch is flipped up when he leers at you from Pirate's Cove, too -- although in both of these cases, it's [B]probably[/B] so the player has the ease of identifying two glowing eyes in the camera, not one and a dark patch where one should be.

Especially with Foxy when one of those two scenes has him seconds away from killing you.

People are using something called Texmod or the like a few pages back I believe, ripping raw high-resolution stills from the art and assets.

However, the ripping only works on textures the game loads to use as needed, so only things that've already been triggered can be ripped.

This means this is not an effective data-mining tool for finding hidden scenes or events we don't already know about.

Dunno if he's been brought up yet but Harshly Critical has a pretty decent LP of this up, minimal facecam (it's barely noticable) and he keeps the talking down to a minimum mostly. Best past is he takes it seriously and doesn't freak the fuck out or overreact [/shill]

You have to upload your pictures to a site like imgur, photobucket, or tinypic if you want other people to see them.
Nobody can see a file saved on your computer unless they have a file in the exact same place with the exact same name.
